In this video we’re dealing with pop-eye! We’ve all dealt with pop-eye in the fish hobby and if you haven’t, you quite possibly will! If you do, I hope this video will provide you with some confidence that it’s not only treatable but it’s nothing to stress over. Of course, that’s when caught at a manageable time! Pop-eye comes from injury, bad water parameters, stress, bad diet and a few other reasons. Treating pop-eye with a general cure isn’t recommended but using a more specific medication like melafix has worked for me time and time again.
