Everyone should have these to protect cars behind from rock chips!

Isnt it a pain to remove a rivet when needing to service behind the wheel well cowling?

Just installed front mudflaps on my parents' V70 yesterday. Not sure about ordering the rear mudflaps though, I think they might look a bit too unweildly on the V70 as they come down quite far. Funny how the XC70 mudflaps don't need rivets while the V70 mudflaps do.

To anyone who is not liking mud flaps I can give you an example: my s40 which has 239k kilometers and it has a lot of stone chips on the paint and on the plastic. Please install mud flaps if you live in areas where there are sand roads or old asphalt.

I checked with the individual part numbers on some original parts websites here in Europe and I don't think it can be ordered individually, looks like only the kits have a "real" part number! To people interested in the front kit, take caution as the part number 31261689 is shared between two different parts, first time I see this.
Different story for S80/V70 (XC70?) though where you can order individually, I was about to do it, THANK YOU for suggesting to order individually as I was able to save 50% this way! Just have to find the rivets now ahah
Definitely useful if you go on gravel tracks or when it heavily rains!

volvosweden nice video, but the mud flaps that Volvo supply are not long enough or wide enough at the bottom, I purpose made longer and wider mud flaps using good quality reinforced rubber for my Volvo v50, front mud flaps are 300mm wide so still stops mud flying up under the body when the front wheels are turned to go round a corner.

That's a very reasonable price for genuine mudflaps. Looking better afterwards

Would love to see the large allows you could get with the v50 as your summer setup. To me, they look amazing

Will you be replacing rear shock absorbers in your xc70 anytime soon? I wonder if I can do it in my garage without any specific tools on my 2010 V70 (no nivo)

The V50 is looking great! What have you done with your old 240 that used to be in the garage if you don't mind me asking??

I don’t why they put rivets , because you need to remove the inner fender plastic for services ..
