Did Bobby Knight ever admit to being wrong about anything? Ever?

It’s painful to watch this man. I’m a die hard Indiana native and basketball fan and to see how hard headed and angry this man is now is mind boggling. He’s just an asshole. The kid who screamed “hey knight, what’s up?” Was probably a huge fan who he destroyed. Knight could not adapt and that was his biggest downfall. Good riddance

Knight demands discipline but displays very little with his actions and words

I absolutely LOVE how he came out to do that interview knowing he was going to trash Indiana University to no end ... wearing the crimson sweater. Love him or hate him, (I'm a LOT closer to the latter, than the former), and there really was no in between, Coach Knight was one of the best things to ever happen to college basketball. And isn't it extraordinary how every former player you ask about him has the deepest admiration and respect for the man?

I don't know. I see his "caring for the kids" as him compensating. I'm not saying he was insincere about that, just that compensating shouldn't be necessary. Just be a lot less of a prick.

Might be a good coach but he was a prick and deserved to be fired. Get over yourself Knight.

Indiana's greatest coach. Steve Jobs used to have a saying about people who work in Management: They are either Great or they are CACA. It's obvious that the Administrators at Indiana belong to what Jobs would refer to as CACA.

Newsflash: All coaches are like Bobby Knight, they just carry themselves a lot smoother in public. But behind the scenes, they’re psychopaths.

It would have been an honor for one of my children to play for coach Knight. Besides insuring they would get a good education and graduate, they would have learned some valuable lessons in regards to life. RIP coach!

Bob Knight brought the whole thing on himself, and never controlled his temper, like he should have. Other angry coaches like Nick Saban don't let it go to the point of hitting their players in public........yes, we can give people like him a pass for one or two incidents, but beyond that, you're gonna get fired. That's how it is. In a regular job, you'd get fired after 1 physical incident.
