    Traveled with this travel pack system in the last 6 months. After 6 months, I decided not to use it anymore for travel. Here is why. The bag is heavy and not the best for one bag travel. In my opinion, you can fill more stuff in other bags with the same liter amount. Think it's because of its stiff harness system. To grab the laptop you have to open the main compartment at least 1/4 of it, not the easiest way to get to the laptop. No quick access to it. The quick access for the camera is ok, but useless when no camera, and in my opinion a higher risk of getting things stolen because it's hard to lock. The Waterbottle pocket is only ok and definitely not the best.
    Quality is great, the design looks nice and the Shouldertrap system is good and comfortable. The big top Pocket is amazing, with a lot of space. More backpacks should have this. The zippers are good but sometimes they get stuck around the corners. especially when you use the compressing straps.
    But the 360 lash point system really is a No Go, hard to get the bags removed or to attach stuff. Especially when the bags are full. It's so annoying. There is so much quality but that part feels so cheap. And never get used to it, even after the 15 times. Decided not to attach things anymore.
    The best thing is the stasis sling. It is really great, has the ideal size for daily stuff (not big enough for a laptop). I still use it every day.
    The price point for it is ridiculous. The whole system is way too expensive.

      Interesting. I got the original Prima system and I liked the bag but it was too heavy to carry. Ended up going to Wandrd's Prvke bags instead and sold the Prima bag. It's unfortunate that you had a negative experience with the Arris backpack, I was hoping to get one but wanted to make sure if it was well an investment before purchasing. (I carry a lot of camera gear)

      @@saxophonicmusician IMO if you're carrying camera gear it's extremely hard to go wrong with Shimoda.

      Thanks a lot for sharing your experience, I was about to buy this bag but I think i'll keep looking. I'm in search for a waterproof travel backpack that can store a 17" laptop (asus rog strix G17), peripherals (small 65% keyboard, mouse, razer tartarus gamepad) plus clothing and stuff for 3-5 days. By any chance do you have something in mind? I'd really appreciate any suggestion!

    Ed, I didn't realize how cool the stasis sling opened. It looks like something I'd enjoy doing with the fidlock setup. Thanks so much for the review.

    I really like this pack! Well thought out! Some features i see are very use full and some not so much for me personally. I also love the stasis sling bag attachment for the front! The website says its only 9 Liters though not 15L. Just a heads up. I kinda wondered if i could stuff a small sleeping bag inside it? If not i could see myself using the included stuff sack that for a sleeping bag. This could make for a great multiday backpacking pack. Would prob have to atleast buy the stasis to add to main pack for it to work though. High price tag, but i can see all the work that went into its design. I could see myself buying a few extra attachment straps for it aswell. Thank you for sharing!!

    Thanks for nice review. Maybe you know if "Stasis Sling" will fit MacBook 14? thanks in advance!

    • @RushfasterTV
      @RushfasterTV  ปีที่แล้ว

      The Stasis Sling is designed to fit most 13" laptops, including MacBook Pros. However, it may not fit a 14" MacBook as the laptop compartment is specifically designed for 13" devices. If you have a 14" MacBook, it may be too large for the laptop compartment, which could result in it not fitting properly or potentially being damaged during transport. It's always best to check the dimensions of your laptop and compare them to the dimensions of the laptop compartment in the Stasis Sling to ensure a proper fit.

    The kickstarter for the chase pants failed miserably. No updates from boundary supply at all and all of a sudden the product is discontinued with our money gone. Will not support this company again.
