I love this backpack for anyone looking into it. I've been using it pretty consistently for about a year now. I have a really big "mobile workstation" laptop for my job (I'm an engineering grad student), and it fits perfectly in this bag's laptop sleeve. I did get the cream/tan color and so far it has actually resisted getting dirty even with bus commute and being on the floor often. This bag has a good capacity without LOOKING enormous, which was what I struggled to find because I have to carry a giant, 1 inch thick 15.6 inch laptop and I'm only 5'4, so some bigger laptop bags just look huge on me. I have two of the rennen pouches and their new rennen pencil case and love and use them everyday. The new Rennen Tote bag and rennen lunch box is out now, and lowkey they're calling my name. Don't mind me going full Rennen System :)
Hey, thanks for sharing. I'm considering this pack but I have two main concerns, would you say the front pocket access is annoying at all? Also, I'm concerned about the inside plastic nipples scratching a mesh pouch I carry when taking it out of the backpack. Do you think this is a possibility?
I have to say Boundary Supply products score high on looks, comfort and durability. Design wise is almost perfect, as their bags don't expand out to carry more stuff. I've been using their errant bag as my edc for 2 years now and I've no complaints so far.

Boundary makes great looking bags but they've burned so many people (including me) with their kickstarters it's hard to really get onboard with any new stuff from them. It's like if they don't say it's in stock and will be delivered Tuesday I can't assume they even know when they're gonna have it produced. Maybe it they paid a little less attention to making materials out of every piece of recycled sh*t under the sun and used some boring/reliable suppliers their track record wouldn't suck so bad. Hope all is well though. Loving all the content lately.

Glad it wasn't just me who thought it was like the evergoods half zip. Biggest trade off is I love the quick access of the evergood but it gets in the way of the laptop sleeve so I guess boundary tried to solve that by putting it on front. If evergoods makes a v2 I think they should make the laptop sleeve its own compartment
Question: I like the brown yellow interior of the white-cream one (I’m not good with colors). You said you think it looks like it might get dirty quick, leading up to my question of, has anyone washed their backpack? Does Boundary make their backpacks with that in mind?
Hey there, you can totally hand wash the bags with mild soap and water. We don't recommend machine wash, but if the material does get dirty hand washing shows to clean sufficiently.
But there is a big difference. the brown buffalo and the bellroy have the the side external pocket. This one doesn't have it and to me that is the most feature I expect from a great bag.
At this point I have to warn people not to purchase any Boundary Supply products. Terrible company, terrible service, and the bags are not worth the hassle. Avoid at all costs. You’ve been warned.
Too floppy. Spend $135.00 and get the GORuck Bullet 15 if you’re trying to stay in this price range. This pack seems a little overpriced to me. I think Errant went a little too cheap to market this at $100.00. To me it’s a $75-$85 bag.
I'm sure if you order these now from Boundary you'll receive them just in time for Christmas 2021

These used to be $100 for the x-pac? That's crazy! Now they are $150 and $129 for the regular Rennen Daypack.
The bottom being 500D recycled cordura would make more sense than the Xpac, more abrasion resistance

This backpack is a mix between the brown buffalo conceal pack and the bellroy classic V2 at the perfect price
But there is a big difference. the brown buffalo and the bellroy have the the side external pocket. This one doesn't have it and to me that is the most feature I expect from a great bag.
From a quality perspective Brown Buffalo Conceal blows this out of the water.
What is the weight of the bag for both the xpac and the recycled material version? Is the Xpac version a little bit lighter?

With respect disagree with you on the front pouch. If you wanted to put a little baby or a puppy for instance in there they'd be totally secure
