This video is a must-watch video for international students who are planning to study masters in Australia or a bachelors in Australia

    A lot of international students who come to Australia for their studies have preconceived notions in their head regarding wartime jobs, education style and level of education, full-time jobs post studies, and regarding Permanent residency.
    We are covering all four things in this video so that based on our experience being an international student, we can provide the most transparent and trusted advice.
    There are a lot of people in this industry who would misguide international students and through these videos, we are making sure that overseas students who come to Australia are well informed and get the right information.
    Our goal at Internash is to provide extremely transparent information to international students who are planning to come to Australia and to international students who are already in Australia. In this video, our host Devarshi Desai explains the myths that people generally have and shares his own experience as well.

    Of course, it's hard to get a job and life in non-native countries. It's been like that for ages, not a new thing. But instead of saying "Australia is not for you" or "You will not get jobs" or "Don't come here, you will not be able to survive", you could have talked about how to adapt to these situations and how to network and how to change your perspective. I must say a lot of people will be demotivated now and the people who are already made plans and are planning to come next year will surely get disappointed. Would have better if he had shown a way rather than saying you are not cut for it bluntly. Bottom line is only rich people can find life in Australia and all the videos that Melbourne Vibe has done so far are for rich people only.

    This is for people who are comparing India and Australia and getting scared. As per my view, I am a resident of the regional area in India and I have worked in the Indian metropolitan (Delhi, Hyderabad..) as an employee of the airport with a decent salary(50K+). The truth is India is also not cheap anymore for housing(around 20 to 28K for one-bedroom(Non AC) apart. approx 600 AUD) and food(own cooking) I really have to pay a chunk of my salary. so why not Australia guys little more struggle and you are good to go!!! obviously, it will be hard for people who have not exposed but you can always learn and execute.

Lot of people have this misconceptions about earning and living comfortable life at the same time.... But people should realise that it's not what it seems to be.... Working your ass off and paying all the tuition fees, accommodation and all is a huge fit... That depends upon people too....

    Rule N.1 for immigration: You have to be GOOD in the field you are applying to study in. This is because you will need to be able to learn/study efficiently while working 20+ hours AT THE SAME TIME.
    Don't waste your time with anything else because you have the rest of your earning life to do that. ALWAYS make the best of your learning years (i.e ages 10 - 25).

    Many international students come to australia to get pr after their studies. But the process is too long and difficult and they get tricked by their service agent. Unless u got pr, no one will hire you to do high paying jobs and u will be stuck working as delivery drivers or low pay jobs. And the degrees that international students get is useless over in their own country. If i could do it all over again, i will never come to aus to study. Waste of time and money.

      Maddie, an Australian from a middle income family studying in India will find it easier to balance his/her study-work in India than an Indian from middle income family studying in Australia. It all boils down to currency conversion and cost of living. If 1 INR was 55 AUD and Indian academic qualifications were internationally recognised, and Australian academic qualifications were sub-par, you too would have come to India as an international student to work hard to get the academic qualifications you seek for a fulfilling career and life. International students in Australia aren't illegal boat arrivals or refugees. 🙂

    Excellent video Dev. Very precise. Additional tip for students - bring a reserve of funds as you might not get as lucky as Dev. Socialise a little, absorb your environment and get used to the weather. A lot of people find themselves feeling lonely as you might not find your kind of people. Be more open to the multi culture in cities in Sydney and Melbourne. You never know who refers you for your next job :)

    I feel like Australia is probably the worst destination for international students. Insanely expensive tuition fee ( increase $2000 per year ), high cost of living, very few job opportunities, poor manufacturing and high tech industries, difficult to migrate, lots of racists and a lot more reasons. Australia is taking advantage of international students to make money. Australia treats international students as cash cows.

    • @AnanthuSKumar-uv3nc
      @AnanthuSKumar-uv3nc 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Australia is pretty much worth for masters. But it's damn expensive and the cost of living is too high. Once you complete your master's no one can garuntee you a job it all depends on your skill and luck. Moreover if you apply for PR, your master's degree could credit you only extra 5 points. Try to find a job in the occupation list of the government as soon as you finish your master's or else your work experience won't be taken into account. It's quite a task. Think deeply before you take a desicion. All the best.!

    How about Australian girls there???

    • @nachannachle2706
      @nachannachle2706 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you are respectful and helpful, they will like you. Australian girls are not very complicated: they want to have someone they can rely on and who can keep things running smoothly with them day-in day-out. They don't think much and don't have much ambitions in general.
      Difficult point is that they often think they can do whatever they want however they want because their culture is all about "equality" and "fair dinkum" for all. So be careful with the party people who just want to spin some attention by going out with you and later dump you because you are not "cool" anymore.
