As someone who knows next to nothing about watches, I appreciate your videos to help me understand the value behind them. Maybe someday I can afford one :)
This is fascinating! I didn't know there were differences other than the size. But I'd still have to go with the Skyfall watch purely for the size. If I ever got one, I could see myself wearing it on a black leather strap to dress it up.
Hey Lorenzo great video, I recently acquired my 41.5 AT in blue from Spectre / No Time To Die and I love it, it’s an amazing watch and the blue really is a lovely colour. I also have my Skyfall Planet Ocean to go with so I have a dress watch and tool. Keep up the great work. Matthew UK 🇬🇧
Thank you very Much Lorenzo! Your video is really helpful about understanding the subtle differences between the two watches. I agree with you. I also prefer the Spectre/ No time to die Aqua terra. It is dressier, elegant, robust and absolutely eye catching. The perfect watch to wear with a suit or a tuxedo. Best regards from Mexico
Thank you for another interesting and informative video Lorenzo. The aqua Terra always seems to be the unsung hero of the bond watches compared to the hero watches from these three films, which seems unfair as they are an absolutely gorgeous watch in both form and function. I would choose this over the others every time
Glad you enjoyed it. Yeah it is definitely underrated and flies under the radar. I really enjoy the heavy differences in the Aqua Terra. Thank again for watching 😊
This is really interesting, this may have changed my opinion of the Skyfall AT. Really insightful, I don't pretend to be knowledgeable about watches, but it helps me to understand a little bit more. Thanks Lorenzo.
Glad I could lend more information on the watches. I feel like there is always things about these watches that people don’t know about or would sway their choice if they had all the facts. Hopefully my videos will help give more information so that it will help when someone is make a choice between two models.
Nice video explaining the differences between the two models. I prefer the green dial personally. I have a smaller wrist-so I prefer a smaller dial. I do love my Omega Semaster 300-great every day watch !
Great review Lorenzo - I’ve followed you for a while now on FB, good to see you doing some videos on here. One little suggestion - show more of the watches, more video footage and more footage of them comparing side by side and individually. There was only a tiny selection of actual watch in the video. Onwards and upwards - looking forward to more reviews of the bond collection!
Why do you think they kept the same AT for NTTD and didn’t go with the updated version (Horizontal stripes)? I can’t imagine it was for continuity as they didn’t have a problem changing the Aston between CR and QOS! Thoughts?
Awesome video! very informative as I had no idea about the white gold on the markers on my 41.5MM Skyfall Version AT...I do think the 41.5MM Spectre/NTTD Aqua Terra is stunning!
Great video Lorenzo. I have the 38.5 AT that’s the smaller version of the 41mm you have. My only gripe is the blingy bracelet. Do you know if the bracelet from the skyfall AT would fit mine? I feel it would be the best of both worlds. Thanks
How resistant to magnetism is the skyfall movement as it has the silicone hair spring? What (other than testing) does the Spectre movement have towards Anti- magnetism that the skyfall doesn’t?
I just bought the watch that you have, but the 38.5mm version. It was the last piece in the boutique and they gave me a 30% discount. In person is very discreet. Maybe because It's the smaller version and it has a smaller effect, but very discreet. It even reminds me of a Rolex Explorer.
You got me change my preference towards the spectre one. As I love Skyfall and already habe the Skyfall PO I always wanted the Aqua Terra from Skyfall too. However your insights were very interesting and I will look for the spectre version now.
I own the 38.5mm Skyfall AT. I have 6.75 inch wrists so the size is perfect for me. The 41.5mm size Aqua Terra is just too large--as you note, the dial is so large given the smallish bezel. My dive watch is the 2220.80 Casino Royale Seamaster 300m Professional.
Just ordered mine for £4000 old brand new from goldsmiths. Mines without the frame around the date which i prefer and the 38.5mm dial the 3 ocklock date window looks miles better than the 6 imo and the lug length makes for a classier looking watch and im saving £1600 from a new one😂 no brainer
Lorenzo, I appreciate the video, but I have conflicting information from a few sites and another TH-cam video elsewhere - th-cam.com/video/3IFKVC-O4lw/w-d-xo.html As I understand, all the blue Skyfall Aqua Terra watches (38.5mm) have a silicon balance spring (identifiable by seeing Si-14 on the escapement as described very well on the video from 8.30 onwards). In fact, you will see from the video that even other dial colour pre-Master Coaxial watches clearly have the Si-14 balance spring as this started (in 2011) before METAS testing was included as standard. All the blue dial watches were made 2012 or after - I assume because of Skyfall, though I may be worng. Now if this is the case, that must mean the pre-Master Coaxial watches with the Si-14 balance springs should be amagnetic, unless there is some other spec change Omega make in the master vs non-master coxial movements. So, 2 questions: How did your watch get magnetized twice? And, can the Si-14 be swapped for the earlier springs? Once again, thanks for the great videos and extensive information that you continue to provide.
Thanks for commenting, I just saw this. Hopefully this will help clarify your conflicting info and questions. Please see below. 17 January 2013 Overcoming one of nature's greatest forces, OMEGA revealed a new watch movement resistant to magnetism of more than 15,000 gauss in 2013 - the Co-Axial 8508. Previous watches identified as anti-magnetic relied on a protective inner case and were only resistant to magnetic fields of about a thousand gauss. Through the creative use of non-ferromagnetic materials developed by OMEGA in partnership with Swatch Group sister companies, it was possible to create a movement that is truly anti-magnetic. And because the movement itself resists magnetism - with no need for the protective inner case, the dials can have date windows and the movement can be viewed through a transparent sapphire crystal caseback. Given the dramatic rise in daily magnetism due to wireless technologies, the Co-Axial 8508 is a timely and relevant development in mechanical watchmaking. Really glad to hear that you enjoyed it 😊 If you set your mind to it you’ll get there!

Excellent video Lorenzo!!! Thank you for giving a place to the Aqua Terra
Absolutely 👍
Loved this! Beautiful watch ⌚️
❤ thanks Jay
Got the 41,5mm version of the Skyfall. Love the fully brushed bracelet . Great video 👌😎

Great video Lorenzo
🍸 🍸 Mastros ??? 😂
Great review. I've seen you on the bond experience with David. Really good to see you having a go on your own. Good luck and keep it up !! 👍

I love your collection, I’d love it if you showcased each one in its own video.

Very good video. Defining each piece helps everyone to avoid should have, would have, could have. Thanks
Thanks Charlie 🍻
Excellent information. 👍🏼 I’m wearing the Spectre for this reason exactly. Such an amazing timepiece and my favorite of all Bond watches.
Thank you, yeah it’s a really great watch. I’m very pleased with how it wears and looks. Absolutely gorgeous in the sunlight ❤

Awesome video. Do you think we will see bond wearing an aqua Tera again?
I feel confident we will. Would love to see him wear one with a navy sunblasted dial in grade 5 titanium
It will come down to what model Omega needs to juice.
I’d love it if you did 10-15 min reviews of each of the Omega “Bond” watches in chronological order 🤞
How does one accidentally magnetize a watch? And how did you do this twice?
I work around a lot of electronics (speakers) daily I’m guessing that is what caused it.
@@omegabondwatches thank you! Just wanted to know for my own edification.
So…
Note to self careful around speakers/magnets.
Great vid thanks Lorenzo. More more more please

Green dial is a sleeper, such a great color for the Aqua Terra.
This was very informative! The Aqua has been on my radar since Skyfall.
But now I am leaning towards the Spectre size
So glad you found it informative and it has got you more interested in the Aqua Terra. Thank you for watching❤

Wondering if you can find out the other watches worn by, say M for instance on Skyfall?
Why do you think they kept the same AT for NTTD and didn’t go with the updated version (Horizontal stripes)? I can’t imagine it was for continuity as they didn’t have a problem changing the Aston between CR and QOS! Thoughts?
Honestly I think it was a continuity situation, the Aston Martin was wrecked in CR it would be strange to give him another one in the same color IMO
@@omegabondwatches cool cheers. Yes you’re probably correct. Keep up the great work cheers

Great freaking video man. Love what you said at the end about you wearing what you like !
