Great tutorial however, the term unlocking, is misleading when I think of the term unlocking, I think of the hidden menus. Great tutorial for the basic user.
Those phones use to receive the programming info ota by dialing *228 I think it was. That no longer works sinc Verizon shut down the 3g networks so you would have to find a carrier that will still support those old 3g phones as well as have a way for you to update the phone with the tower info for the new carrier. If you didn't understand most of what I just said.. then I would just just get rid of that phone and get a different one.
Reset from the setting menu. The security code is the last 4 digits of the phone number. See the phone number in the About section in the menu, or Info, I can't remember exactly. At the bottom of the list
The problem after you do this process .if you turn off the phone or take out the battery, you gonna has to start all over again to do the same process, other than that is good.
I'm really glad that I found this channel! The videos here are amazing!
This video was helpful! I was able to set up my phone seamlessly. Thank you.

If Minot mistaken, those are programmable. Have a look in the settings menu or Google the manual for this model

Yes, that is correct. That's the only free solution
It’s because it’s mainly a GSM roaming feature as it’s a CDMA device. Not meant for it to mainly be used on GSM.
Cool
NICE!
I have one like that
A cdma eligible phone working with a gsm edge network. This video is cursed immensely.
Haha no CDMA available in Europe so Edge it is!
