I have the E4810 for me at my age of 83, very deaf, and having a bad fingers from hard work its perfect for phone calls I drop my phone 3-4 times a day even sometimes in water no issues and on speaker phone it is VERY LOUD EVEN OUTSIDE VERY LOUD I'm using a my desktop with a 24 inch monitor to type this with a full keyboard. A smartphone to me is like running shoes to a person who had their legs blown off, Ihope to get my 4811 soon I keep it in a charger slip in device and in speaker mode on audio answer it is perfect no touching the phone I hear who is calling and see the caller ID its like a hand axe, I would not cut down a huge oak with it.
regarding how the messaging only shows a preview of the text if it is longer than ~50 characters, do you know if this is the case on all Kyocera DuraXV or just the model you have?
@@weaveryounghands4818 I couldn't tell you for sure, but I believe it's the case for all DuraXV/XA models. I can reach out to Kyocera about this and find out for sure.
What’s the lowest priced plan you can use this with this phone? I was checking it out on Verizon’s web site but couldn’t find just a talk and text plan. Thanks!
I don't know if Verizon offers a talk and text only plan anymore, the $65 unlimited welcome plan might be the cheapest. If you buy the device unlocked you should be able to use it on MVNOs like Visible or US Mobile for much less, but might have to mess with APN settings to get MMS to work right.
Even then this kyocera's screen is miles and miles better than my 2780's 😅 I'm looking to upgrade, but i don't know if the ones you find on Amazon are unlocked since I'm not from the US but I want to use it in my country

Can run java programs like the old ones? I don't like a horrible website-based OS like the new Nokias
You can sideload Android apps but compatibility/usability is not guaranteed.
