Cameras under $150... I honestly can't think of any, and if there was a viable option, I would honestly recommend starting off with your iphone or android!
I have 650D with 50mm lens, it works great for portrait photos and etc. I think it's good choice for beginners, you'll get nice quality and results for ~130$😊
Sony A5000 - mirrorless, interchangeable lenses, E mount system, 24 megapixels, can shoot video too… bought mine for £130 in mint condition with a lens 👌
Was my first camera one year ago. Switched now to zve10 and there is really nothing more to it(in photo), just faster shutter, autofocus and better low light. a5000 Awesome camera for that price.
asking wrong questions for wrong guy. this dude is gearhead and optimistic about it. thats why i watch him. but the question better be ask to people that enjoy their classic gear or whatever. imo, with that budget. find dslr for 100$ and 50$ for lens. better if you can get af lens in that price range. there plenty of options. do your research for every deal you get. thats good starting point to learn about camera and maximise full capabilities of what you have. i been there. you can still get crispy photo with some editing and no one will notice except professional. that cheap dslr is durable and good experience for starting out. go cheap with good deals. good luck
I don't really now why most people ignore that he said about significantly greater quality of phone cameras for this price. Also don't think you should throw money on cheap set for camera and lens. You can buy a drone for ≈300$ and shoot with your phone mainly.
you can get a used canon 700d for a little under 200$ and just get a 50mm 1.8. It’s what I started on and still currently use, absolutely love the 700d
My first DSLR was a Canon 650D + 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 III. A bit over $150, $165, but it's pretty cheap. Nowadays, I own 2 Canon 70Ds, 50mm f/1.8 STM and 24mm f/2.8 STM. $600 for everything. $200/body, and $200 for the 2 lenses
Don't know. There are lots of cool cameras for about 150$ (canon 500D or like older DSLRs) Sure they aren't a masterpiece but still good to learn. If you have like 300$ just get a 70D or something. Y'all don't need 1000$ new cameras for the start. That's bullshit
I grabbed a canon 300d which I’ve used for a few weeks now and it cost me $55 with a CF and kit lens. It may be a bit old but I have my eyes on a 30/40D next.
I've found plenty of kits for about that price. My Lumix GX1 was 60$. My Pentax K70 was 90$. You've just got to be able to find a good deal, and be willing to settle for what you find even if it might not be something from the system you had in mind for yourself. There isn't a system in use today that can't produce 90% of what you'll want to do as a beginner anyways.
I got my first camera (Nikon D3100 with 18-105mm f3.5-5.6 VR lens) for 150€ and for learning photography it was so much better than phone. You can get worthy cameras for less than 150$ every day
Got a canon S120 for a swap from marketplace. Same size as an iphone 4 that shoots in raw and image quality is similar with a dslr thanks to it's cmos sensor.
@@StitchTheOtter I love my D50, favourite camera I’ve ever had. It’s been so durable and survived through rain, wind and being chucked in many backpacks. It’s a great little camera and I love it for travel
There are some Sony Nex 5 cameras that are pretty good actually. I mean it was my first camera and Im still pleased with the photos that Im getting with it.
It’s actually pretty easy, look for an old canon rebel T3i. It will be a bit more when you include lenses and other peripherals, but the body shouldn’t cost you more than around $150. You can absolutely get a good beginner setup for less than $1,000
I bought for 110bucks Nikon D3000 with 18-55kit lens. I was my first camera and i learned a lot with that camera. Then i bought Nikon D5000 for 150bucks with kit lens also, it has live view and flip screen
I got really lucky with my camera, a 700D with the kit lens, the 55-250mm, a camera bag and an sd card for €150,- while normally for this deal you would be paying €300,-. Also it was only at 2k clicks, I don't think the seller really understood it's value...
Cheapest quality camera I can think of is a 5Dmii or miii. You can find them for $300-$500 second hand. Full frame 20mp still pretty damn good considering the age. Video wise it’s lacking but u can hack it n get 3K 16bit raw video.
There are many good cameras you can get now for $150 or not much more.... I could list at least seven or eight DSLR's from each of Nikon , Canon , Sony and Pentax. There are even many good quality Compact System Cameras with APSC sensors for that price....At a rough guess I think I could find at least a hundred good cameras in all formats that could shoot RAW.
Man this is just wrong. You can get so many cheap and good cameras for $150 usd. Heck for $100 Aud I got myself a Nikon D60 with a little spare for a film camera. This guy saying you need to go out and spend 1k on a beginner camera is an absolute joke 😂. Any interchangeable lens camera is going to be great as a starter camera and yes, photography can be a cheap hobby if you know what your doing
In my country I was able to find some years ago Canon 4000D in 150 Euros. I think you give a wrong example to the begginers. For begginers, what is more important then the quality of the photo it's to get familiar with the gear, with the manual control of camera, to develope the skill to be able to create a composition. So I think you didn't look to the market and you don't have the corect information.
I got a Nikon d80 for £70 the body worth around £50 and the lenses is a 18mm to 135mm and is worth around £125 so this video is a lie as the d80 is a perfect beginner DSLR
I bought a canon 7d for $125. Great first camera, a bit clunky but works for me.
Damn that's so cheap a 7d here in my place is 300 dollars
I recently got one as a second body/sport body for 120$ very happy with it so far and the images it produces even if it's a little challenging to use.
