I’m buying #07/ 662 07 427r next week, it’s been retuned and has been remodded and dynoed at 539hp to the wheels… I’m so freaking excited, best part is the wife actually agreed… the better part is it only has 31k miles before it’s rebuild and it’s only 24k
@@Doapull sadly not, the seller decided to try to get more money out of me and my wife than agreed, he removed the body kit, and took off the signed Roush plaques and expected me and my wife to pay for what originally came on the car from roush.
When i was 28 i was engaged, my girl broke up with me, the next day i took the wedding savings and bought a brand new 2009 Jack Black edition stage 3 convertible.. and absolutely loved that car.. owned it till i found my 93 cobra convertible and 86 svo.. then eventually married the right girl.. but man.. i miss that supercharger sound.. once i retire i'd love to find an sn95 saleen convertible..
@@dirkx2350 I dunno what I have then, the Vin Decodes as a 93 Cobra. the body is a convertible, when i did the restore on it, it had lx 4cyl brakes, but had a t5 transmission and an 8.8 rear, the 5.0 was running the cobra cam but had a trickflow intake, and had a full GT interior, the body is cobra, bumpers and rear, the vin tag on the cowl is different than the interior, than the t5 than the fenders.. it's a hodgepodge of numbers, and honestly i don't care, it's as near a cobra fox that they ever made.. even if it's a bastard of parts.. i still love(d) this car..
I have the same car curious the exhaust? Sounds quite a bit better than mine. Also did you take down the s550? These cars might be 3v....however they have a supercharger and nice torque curve with good pull throughout. Nice car!
if priced simiarily, anbd both the 05-09 years probably the shelby, its a better platform to start off, easier to resell/hold value a little better--the roush is more niche especially for the 3v platform. And you're getting better internals, a better trans, and the same horsepower from a stock gt500
gt500 all day and tomorrow lol roush is kick ass and when u see one its always special but those shelbys have a 5.4, better mod response, stronger everything.
Hey! I would like to know how was the driveability of the car on the street? I hear all sort of things about the blower being too small/heats too much. I know it’s not the best for any sort of racing, but how is it for street fun?

Thats that good stuff right there the whine is fantastic!!!
Found a used M90 kit close to where I live, bought and installed it on my 2006 GT because of that vid! Great cars!
I always had the most fun in Mexico, too!

@@ThatLoud3v oh yeah for sure no doubt about that
Way too much fun!

That is correct!
Cool ride. Want to have even more grins, take it to open track days. That's the real deal for car and driver

There was never a 93 cobra convertible.

Same here, Honestly the torque is what sold me on the car. The thing will run!
What mods? Sounds like a pulley at least
Seen a roush stage 3 s197 for sale locally but I’m also thinking of getting a 08 Shelby gt500. Which one is more best bang for your buck?

extremly fun in my experience.
Mods???
Roush Stage 3s have exhaust and suspension upgrades and a supercharger
m90?
Nice! Mine sounds better! ha
who cares.
They used to sound so good. The GT500 and Roush SC cars. Now the superchargers are so quiet. Sucks… :-/
