Nelson the Orchid Ambassador does it again. Let us know when you put a map together of your Orchid travels. Was just at Soroa Orchids two weeks ago. Beautiful set up. Very clean and organized. I like how they run irrigation to the orchids in the trees. Still need to fix the water leak on the fountain.

Have you ever heard of growing orchids in a sand medium? When I first moved to Florida in the mid-1980s I could've swore people were growing their orchids in a sand medium.
I’ve seen people grow orchids in very unconventional mediums. It all depends on your environment and weather. Sand holds allot of moisture so I assume it’s a water controlled situation.

Not really. Mango trees are better to buy from air layering a branch with fruits. This will assure a tree that will produce fruits. Sometimes the trees grown from seeds don’t produce fruits.
