Any thoughts you wish to spew in some gross attempt to ****justify the mass murder of Palestinians in their occupied land**** will be ignored and even deleted. idgaf what reason you think you have to suggest what is happening to ****an entire population of people, MOSTLY CHILDREN, who have been imprisoned and oppressed for 70+ years**** is acceptable, you are wrong and need to reevaluate yourself and how little you care for human life, you aren't welcome here until you do.
Listening to your reaction made me hope you have someone to hug you and bring chamomile tea after this was over. No, seriously. There are not many truly good people, but there are a lot of us who are just looking for an opportunity to do one good thing at a time. The same with political action: can't do it all the time, but can continue to do it intermittently. Look around you. Those are people who care, they just have jobs and kids and mortgages and all the dumb-ass stuff used to keep us distracted and unaware. Look at your life: where can you create less distraction? Dump the car, get an ebike. That's a lot less distraction because you're no longer trying to cover the demands of owning a car. Look at Maslow's hierarchy of needs, admire it's simplicity. That's how life can look. And know that out there in the world, in every country, in every town or village or community, there is at least one person who doesn't know you exist at this moment. But regardless, that person loves you for exactly who you are. And each one of them is found unexpectedly, like water in the desert, as you travel through your life. I think it's required by law that I end this with "Great reaction! Loved it! Look forward to seeing more of you reacting to stuff!" But I can say it because it's true, and not because the YT police will hunt me down if I don't
Ren bringing light to things to open their eyes (like when he draws them on the sack) in the hopes that it will change as more wake up to the truth! Great reaction 💙🫂
Great reaction - without wishing to get too political, those in power need to wake up to whats happening in the Middle east & stop listening to vested interests. That was Romain playing the Guitar in part 1, apparently it took over 180 takes, maybe down to Rens ADHD - he's such a perfectionist. He performed a live version of Money Game 2 at the Sky Arts Awards, hirst live TV performance in 5 years. Even though he was clearly sick & unwell he still killed it. Speaking truth to power, Ren is totally fearless. Just a shame so many are not listening. Stay strong, you've rapidly become one of my top 3 Ren reactors.
Hi Marissa, it can be draining taking on the problems of the world emotionally, but just know that you are doing your bit simply by raising the profile of these topics on your channel. Just as Ren does in his music. Keep your spirits up and take care of yourself!
I liked your personal story, I'm a lot older than you and I have felt the same way all my life, it's not something new. How I have coped with it, is realising I'm not a politician and I can't change the world. All I can do is be nice to the people around me and help those I can. If we all do that, it's a bit better and all we can do is our bit.
It breaks my heart too 💔 I heard stories recently from Palestine before sleeping Woke up from a vivid dream where I had turned into the Black Canary and was shreiking into the faces of all the world leaders behind this genocide including my so called Prime minister I'm not even a comic book fan but definitely frustrated as hell about my inability to stop this s*it
I apologize in advance if this is a little lengthy, but what you said near the end REALLY hit home, and I have some advice that I think could really help, it's advice I got, and worked in the weirdest way....
First and foremost, thank you for saying Aaron Bushnell's name, what he did was beyond brave and honorable, and the fact the media couldn't be bothered to even give it a minute of their time disgusts me to no end. In the same spirit I'd like to mention another name, Thich Quang Duc, while I don't like this nickname, he's widely known as the "burning monk". He was a S. Vietnamese Buddhist monk, who in 1963, did an act called self immolation (what Ren inferred he was doing at the end of MG1), to bring awareness to the oppression of his religion and the murder of 6 monks and 3 civilians by a tyrannical regime (propped up by the U.S., imagine that). The lone reporter on the scene that photographed the image (he was invited by the monks, but had no idea why they invited him), ended up winning a Pulitzer Prize, and is often referred to as the first viral photo, pre-internet, with a copy being on JFK's desk less than 24hrs after the incident. The image became internationally recognized as a sign of peaceful resistance. Rage Against The Machine used it as the cover to their 1993 debut album, and Ren is a big fan and was heavily influenced by RATM's music, and their activism off stage, so I think the end was a nod to both the band, and Quang Duc. I think both Aaron and Quang Duc should be remembered, and revered, for such a selfless, painful act, in order to shine a light on something that is so wrong and being ignored. TRIGGER WARNING : To anyone reading this that wants to learn more and decides to google Thich Quang Duc or RATM album art, please know those are real photos, they are not CGI or any type of boomer photo editing, they are graphic, in color and very real.
probably the best lyrics ever written, it dosnt matter if they all hate you as long as they say your name, i gave those lines to a journo in prague who is doing a bit on what europeans think of the u.s election. he will use it, if he remembers what day it is and where he is staying. he was either up there or sean penn. lol
Sorry about no advice in first comment, I decided to separate them so i don't look like a total maniac..😂 So, many years ago, but not that much longer than you, maybe around the end of the Obama years, I did something similar as you. I questioned every belief and ideology I've ever had, I did deep dive after deep dive, I took online classes that anything to do with properly informing your self, journalism classes, spotting propaganda and conspiracy theory, theory, you name it. Then I was determined to let people, especially ones in my life, know everything I now knew. That didn't go well, and a lot of people saw me as just seeking "political arguments", and I understood their frustration with my actions, but they didn't know how complacent that made them. I tell you all that because I too got very discouraged, and down, and my mental health was spiraling too due to undiagnosed and unrealized PTSD from my job. So here's two pieces of advice that REALLY helped me.... #1- I knew already at the time, but didn't realize it applied to activism or mental health yet. It's something they taught us in the fire academy on almost day one, if you're too tired or banged up to go on, and you push ahead anyway and really get hurt, then a whole other fire crew has to come in and save your stubborn butt, a crew that cold be helping with the emergency you were called for in the first place. So, rule of thumb......DO WHAT YOU CAN, WHERE YOU CAN, FOR AS LONG AS YOU CAN (safely), and no one can ask anymore of you than that, you're no good to the rescue effort if you incapacitate yourself. #2 - I got this advice from a mentor, a little while after getting into activism, and it in part had to do with the social media thing, and my friends getting mad at me, and me feeling like I had to inform people of the crap that was happening, and I was very discouraged. My mentor said, who do you think you are reaching or affecting when you post something controversial or real, that people don't want to see?? Of course you're going to come off as annoying or "angry", that comes with the territory, and even if you change a few 'hearts n minds" of those on the fence, they're never going to admit you did it, or that they were wrong. The biggest reason to advocate for a cause is for those out there without a voice, who are scared to speak up, or can't out of fear of something, at the very minimum, you're helping normalize something. Still, his advice didn't really hit home until Oct. 9th, 2023. The day prior on the 8th, on several social media platforms, I posted for people to hold on and please pay attention, that we were about to witness genocide for the first time ever, streaming live on every phone and television on the planet, and that we need to be ready to call it out and stand against it. This was accompanied by a image of the Israeli and Palestinian flags with a peace dove between the two and the words "pray for peace' in the middle.. I caught a temp ban on two sites, and got kicked off one for being antisemitic, and never received so many hateful comments. Suffice to say I was really disillusioned once again, until the next day. On one site that is set up for networking with people in your area, I got a DM from an older Palestinian woman who lived just one town over from me, she wanted to thank me for my post, and said she was sorry it got taken down. She went on to tell about how 9/11 happened right after she moved to the U.S. and how scared she was to leave her apartment, and how people looked at her, that it took her years to feel comfortable going out shopping or for social events, and that now it feels like that all over again. I assured her there were more people like me out there and that she'd get through this, we corresponded several times, and she even invited me over for coffee, which I've taken her up on a couple times, and we have had lovely chats and she is a wonderful human being. So for all my rambling, my advice is, don't burn yourself out, don't feel guilty for taking care of you first sometimes, and don't get too hung up on those that don't want to know the truth, who choose the status quo and prefer to wallow in it, your message and actions can, AND WILL, find their way to the people who really need them!! I promise. ✌️💚
Loving this reaction!! Already excited for part 3, but really hoping you also do 'The story of Eden', the Money Game story is incomplete without it (in my rather opinionated but honest and passionate opinion)...
I so feel you. I too feel way too much as well and needed to put my mental health first. I do appreciate you, I love TH-cam reaction, Ren brought me to TH-cam and it’s been a terrifying eye opener of the right wing, uncle rabbit hole yt seems to be. Your voice is so needed! Thank you for speaking out ❤
Good reaction but had to laugh at how you said you love your patreon viewers so you are giving them all 3 songs at once. Sounds like you are saying you don’t love your TH-cam subscribers because they don’t pay you.
Your rant about Palestine gets an unsub from me . Your short memory needs refreshing . Hamas who are Palestine backed and voted for attacked civilians killing thousands . In Israel . I suppose you back Putin and North Korea too ?
Americans killed thousands of civilians in Afghanistan, Iraq, Vietnam..... it's all wrong, so what's your point? Israel have killed many more Palestinian civilians than the other way round and the fact remains Israel are occupying Palestine and Russia are occupying Ukraine, so your comparison doesn't really hold up under scrutiny does it? Learn your history and take your Islamophobia back to your cave, cretin.
Israel (a country with nukes) are occupying Palestine (who don't have any), Russia (a country with nukes) are occupying Ukraine (who don't have any). I'm sure your sub will be missed...

For an interesting bit of trivia. Look up the history of Shell Oil. Ren didn't use shells as an example by accident.
Listening to your reaction made me hope you have someone to hug you and bring chamomile tea after this was over. No, seriously.

Its empowering to hear another good soul who cares. 💚
How relevant is this song right now. Both of them really.
Great reaction - without wishing to get too political, those in power need to wake up to whats happening in the Middle east & stop listening to vested interests. 'He say she say they say we say
People like to bicker as humanity evolves..'
I hear it as "erodes" and the next lines are HOT lol
Great reaction as always. Respect!
Thank you!
Fight as best you can, when you can

Enjoyed your little analogy half way through... Keep being you and stay awesome ❤

if you want to listen to an old beat Ren did thats more upbeat. Check out Jessica, not many cover it which being honest is criminal.

"But when did freedom become a reason to hate? A way to justify a racist slur or insult we make" is one of my favorite lines from ren 🥹💜
New sub! Love Ren!
Great reaction love from Ireland 🇮🇪 FREE PALESTINE AND LEBANON
Maybe not Lebanon😂 they were completely fine until they tried to capture Israeli land whilst they were busy against Hamas

I've watched this video at least 500 times, and I just thought of something new. What happened to the rope?
Sorry, had to wait for 3 to come out! Too impatient to watch 1+2 and wait for 3
Good reaction but had to laugh at how you said you love your patreon viewers so you are giving them all 3 songs at once. Sounds like you are saying you don’t love your TH-cam subscribers because they don’t pay you.
