    *Attention* FB now only allows one ad creative per DCT. You can either put multiple creatives (image/video) per angle in dct and do 6 ad sets total each running DCT. Or, you can turn DCT off and run 3 different angles under each ad set and use text variation. Both ways are great to test marketing angles DCT version can just take a little longer to set up (due to needing to create multiple creatives) Sorry about the confusion on this part. FB continuously changes the options... reply to this comment if you have further questions on this!

      DCT option is gone, today they introduced “Flexible Format” and have removed the DCT option. That’s what I am seeing at my end (ads account).

      One question Austin: why not just put in the Product Page URL into the "Website URL" box, instead of having them first go to the Landing Page?

    I just wanna say that I appreciate this vid. So many POD (shopify, or FB ads) content creators just seem like scammers, and I'd like to think I've seen enough to know the difference between that and someone giving actual good advice and strategy - which I think you do. Giving this a shot.

    Hey Austin. Thank you for the great value! I was just wondering, how should someone optimize their store according to their angle testing phase. For example, if they're testing 6 different angles at the same time, won't the images, gifs and videos they use in their product page matter? Should they just put normal product images and videos to their store without showing any sort of area of use so that the people who see and click the link from different angles see the same thing? I appreciate the time. Thank you!

    • @AustinRabin
      @AustinRabin  23 วันที่ผ่านมา +5

      Great question! You can go the quick route of having more general and generic images/copy/etc on the landing page for the first test. Pros: quicker tests, less time spent, etc. Cons: could lead to less conversions compared to if it was optimized. The longer route would be setting up multiple landing pages with different URLS on shopify backend each optimized for that specific angle and then putting the specific URLS in the ad creative level matching each angle. That is truly the best, but it does take a lot more time. If you are super confident in the product, website, and angles I would take the long route! Cheers!

  • @xloopfitness
    @xloopfitness 6 วันที่ผ่านมา

    Hey Austin, you put image, video, UGC for both of the adsets, and every ad has a different angle. Wouldn't this get confusing to understand if the marketing angle is performing well or if it was the ad format? Or are you making each type of ad for one angle?

    I want to advertise in the same way.
    Estimated conversion of $50 per day is 0.

    Hey! What If I have a winning ad set + creative and want to test a new one? Should I just add another ad set under the same Campaign? Or crate a new Campaign? - Since I have a budget on a Campaign level, isnt it gonna affect the winning Ad set?, or Would not test the New ad Set + creative that I want to test - since FB know already where to spend its money = on the old winning ad. Thank you!

    • @AustinRabin
      @AustinRabin  23 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I would personally create a new campaign to test a variation or new idea instead of adding it in. I don't like to really touch anything that's working and instead just start new campaigns. I'm almost superstitious with FB ads hahah

    • @AustinRabin
      @AustinRabin  23 วันที่ผ่านมา

      ugh, they're always changing it haha. You can then duplicate the ad sets 6 times instead and have one creative under each instead of 2 ad sets and 3 creatives under each to use DCT! Both will work the same under a CBO.

      Post ios 14.5 everything started changing rapidly with FB's data collection which has been making them change their features A TON. I like to keep them on for a week because of purchasing patterns throughout different times of the week. For example, if your product is a really great weekend product maybe more people purchase on Friday. If you ran the ad from Monday to Wednesday you might have missed out on the indicators.

      Interesting question. Would you base a national ad on the first couple hundred people or would you want more data to assess your ad technique. If you have an audience of 18-65 and the first day was all 65 yr olds on desktop and they scroll right past your ad cause they didn't even notice it. Well, at face value it'd seem your ad isn't working right? Not really... the longer you let it run, the more the algorithm will show your ad to the right people.
