I'm so jealous with your alocasias, they are so beautiful and healthy. I only have one and pahirapan talaga sa pag alaga. Pag may sumibol na isang dahon, namamatay naman yung isa so 1 to 3 leaves lang lagi natitira and super liit pa.

I like Alocasia especially Philippine species. Lalo na yung mga species galing sa Visayas: Alocasia sinuata, alocasia boyceana?, alocasia heterophylla, alocasia scalprum. Ang Alocasia Micholitziana "green velvet" ay hybrid ng Alocasia Micholitziana na Philippine specimen din.
May favorite alocasia at alocasia memo.alocasia corazon.alocasia zebrina.alocasia macrrorhizos at alocasia amazonica but I may nag benta sa akin large leaf 100p lang
Me too. Green velvet o Frydek pinaka common pero siya rin pinakamahirap alagaan sa 11 alocasia varieties na meron ako. Mas madali pang alagaan ung mga imported like Dragon Scale at Silver Dragon.

Nakakainis yung portei ko pinapak ng caterpillar overnight. Kakaunfurl pa naman ng new leaf.
