Mark, we do believe you get the most out of each log you saw. The sawing is great when the log is less than desirable. Enjoy the show as we have enjoyed yours. That pile sure looked neat and clean when it was done too.

Hi Mark. As I told Ed. This Friday's eve log is much better. Yes. I know it's pallet grade. I did a lot of pallet construction. Companies in Vermont & Upstate N.Y threw them out in the late 1980s. As a farmer of 3yrs at that time. Pallets help build animal stalls, doors, & other uses. The Upstate N.Y paper company threw out huge piles of white pine pallets 5 feet by 3 feet, 5 by 4s & 5 by 5s. The boards were 4 quarters. The 5 by 5s were 8 quarters thick! I helped build a lot w/ pallets. ( The white pine pallets were my favorite. Very easy to come apart. The other oak, ash, & popular pallets were challenging to get apart. The oak, ash, & popular pallet were $90.00 then in Vermont. Anyway. We had a few Friday night eve's " booms." 😂😂😂😆😆😆😁😁😁 Say Hi to Ed, ZZ , & Hank. 🥰🙂😉👍❤️💜🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🌳

I sure wish you knew someone with a flat bead and log claw-picker-upper. NE Ohio got slammed this past Tuesday with 75-105 mpg winds & blowing rain. Many big, old trees snapped and uprooted. Hundreds of power poles snapped. Our power was out for over 60 hours. We are all safe except for freezers full of formerly frozen foods. Someone here is getting some terrific timber.
