i love my 7 and 8th gen z06's. I traded in my previous hellcat an some money down for the order. People cant really tell but the new c8 z06 really makes you respect how much work went into the overall design for the experience while the others are all going v4 hybrids and or full electric. Just had Vengeance Racing do some performance work to mines the other month.

@@LOCKHIMUP2024 I encourage you to watch my video of roll racing the Porsche Taycan Turbo S. I also encourage you to go to Google and search Car and Drives’s Lightning Lap All Results and see that the C8 Z06 is the 6th fastest car ALL TIME and the fastest NA car they have ever run on the track. It’s a good read and the lap time chart they have has every single car with every single lap time and there are a TON of Lambos and Ferraris and Porsches slower than the Z06. In fact….. not one Lambo they had in any of the Lightning laps is faster. Don’t take my word for it. Go to google and check it out. It’s so impressive what this car is capable of.
Def agree with all points David. Infotainment is my main gripe. Otherwise amazing vehicles tho and Chevrolet definitely hit it so far out of the park with this car!!! Great video!

@@driven555 you are correct! That LS7 and the low weight make those C6 Z06’s s car that is still faster than many newer cars. I will own a C6 Z06 one day. Those wide body C6 cars are tied for my favorite looking Corvette of all time
What a great value for the money and a great value at twice the price! GM hit it out of the park with the C8 and then followed up with another with the Z06….grand slam with the ZR1?

All three will punch WAY above the price. The Z06 is so good I can’t imagine how amazing the ZR1 will be! It’s something I can’t wrap my head around at the moment experiencing how good the Z06 is!! I love your products and videos radiator grille store!

GM Has got to ditch the HVAC controls on the rail with tiny buttons & put better instruments! The gauges are terrible. Copy Porsche or Honda if the designers are clueless!

Yes, it is good car. But that unattractive side intake pointing to the sky and bubble on the rear fender is forcing me to wait for C9.

Nice video! Does the front trunk get hot enough to cause any problems carrying a cooler with ice? Motortrend said the frunk on the Z06 gets too hot for groceries.

What’s the true MPG with how you drive? Beautiful car btw!
If you are cruising and just loafing it…… this car will actually get 20-21 MPG! Real world around town is more in the mid teens MPG 15-16…. If you can’t stay out of the fun pedal it’ll drop fast 😊. It’s really crazy that you can get 21 MPG on the highway with this thing! Thanks for watching
Do you have a problem with this AFM thing?I noticed my C-8 gos back and forth with this BS going in and out of V4 mode.I have the Z51 not the Z06.
No sir. The Z06 doesn’t have AFM. I have friends who have Z51 stingrays that have the same complaint. I believe several companies now offer ways to permanently delete that but I am unsure. Thanks for the question and stopping by the channel!
Drive it in MANUAL MODE!! No AFM!!

sorry but that color is just not right...the strong metallic makes it look constantly dusty/dirty/cloudy whatever....doesn't ever look clean. Standard black looks much nicer

what mpg you got on your Z06 ?
Man that’s a great question I should have included that in my video because it’s actually quite impressive. On long road trips and when cruising around town this car will get just over 20 MPG… obviously MUCH less if you are running it hard. But it’s been super impressive to get 20+ MPG. Multiple Z06 owners I’ve talked with or know also report the same results! Thanks for that question!

I guess you have to like a Porsche to begin with. We had a Panamera. Had lots of issues with it.
