Appears to be right up to the transformer serving that area as well. Their slide was right over it. Not good because A) They hum. B) They put out heat. C) If overloaded they can burn. And what is the chance that on the hottest days of the year, with ever-increasing RV sizes and loads, that the transformer sized for a decade ago is overloaded?
Such a blessing in disguise. Love that you went to margueritaville! You give such great rv reviews/tours. Patty’s happy face is what every vaca should be.
Most RV parks were built years ago when tow vehicles RVs were shorter/smaller and there was ample room for both the rv and tow vehicle. Today with our larger tow vehicles and rvs, yeah, you’re going to have a lot of tight fits. Don’t sweat the small s5uff Folks.
This is our next adventure when in Pigeon Forge thanks to you! We were at The Ridge this past Spring, and it was also very nice, but this is another wonderful place to add to our next visit. Still close to Dollywood and surrounding area so a big plus! We can't wait, thank your for filming and letting us in on the new "secret" place! Safe travels!
Don’t blame you in the least. That is no bigger than a parking spot at Walmart. Second sight is so much nicer, and a fire pit! Nice having a camp store for odds and ends or even an ice cream! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
I just got back from Margaritaville and I agree, it’s one of my favorite of all time. Although the margaritas were wonderful, my favorite drink was the Banana Breeze….sort of like a frozen banana colada. Anyway, cheers ! I love y’all’s channel !!!
Just wanted you to know we have taken the plung. Renting our first Camper and heading for Camp Margaritaville RV resort in September. You did a great review of the resort and my husband and I decided to make it our first experience! Thank you for the information.
i'm 60 years old. i'm with you. i like my peace and quiet. to be honest, i've always been somewhat of a loner. but the older i get, the more i like being alone. don't like all the drama and hoopla. i got enough crap of my own to deal with.
Patrick, you are a master at backing up at a campsite! Wow… there wasn't any space. 😮 But the fun part was when Patty said “I like them all!” 🎉 Its refreshing to know I'm not the only campsite snob!!! 😂 What a SCORE!!!
Nice video!! I have wondered if there was a Margarita Cart that ran around the campground!! We have to add this to our stay list. We visit the Smoky's yearly. Thank you for sharing!
You were in my neck of the woods. We live in Maryville. We've stayed in Margaritaville several times and love it!!! We also love the breakfast buffet on the wekends. Not sure if its served other days. Glad you liked it!! Safe travels and God bless.
We actually just stayed on the lot right in front of that pool and bathhouse you walked by. Really tight fit and the pool was closed!! We won’t go back. Only good thing was we could watch the fireworks at Dollywood from our RV.
We have stayed at Margaritaville 3 times and going back in September, one of our favorite places. We always try to book site 51 and it’s never available . Thanks for another great video!
Suggestion....you should use a cable lock on your surge protector. One of the most stolen items in campgrounds. Note that is what the metal ring is for on the top cable
Welcome back to East Tennessee! Sorry the Jellystone basically sucked. From the video I wouldn't stay there either. Margaritaville looks way nicer! Glad you found it. A little pricey for us but it is a resort and not just a nice campground. And we wouldn't stay at Jellystone for half of what they charge. We're from Knoxville, so very glad you're enjoying our beautiful East Tennessee!
Just starting watching y’all’s videos! I have went back and watched a few .we have enjoyed them a lot can’t wait to see more in the future! Loved the one in piegon forge about margarita ville can’t wait to visit there ! We stay a lot at sunoutdoors in piegon forge ! Stay safe
Wow, having the sewer connection right next to the picnic table! We have a park near us that generations of our family have gone to, and they now pack them in so badly it's no longer or go to. I had no idea magnolia flowers have a scent.
I found this on their website for you 😉 RV TYPE POLICY: Camp Margaritaville is an RV resort. Approved recreational vehicles include class A, B, and C motorhomes, fifth wheels, hard-sided travel trailers, hybrid travel trailers with pop-out beds, toy haulers, hard-sided truck campers, pop-up campers and teardrop campers. All recreational vehicles must be factory manufactured only and currently registered, maintained in good condition, and in running order without leaks of any kind. In addition, all RVs must be leveled and supported with the proper equipment. (Tent camping or auto/truck camping tents are not permitted.) 15 YEAR RULE: We do love a great restored vintage camper; however, we will need to pre-approve any RV more than 15-years old to ensure that it is maintained and in good condition. Please email images of your RV within 48 hours of booking your stay to info@campmargaritavillepigeonforge.com for approval. RVs over 15 years old that arrive without prior authorization may be denied entry.
Hi, yeah I see no pleasure or peace of mind being there. I be outta there too. lol 😂 I'm sorry I didn't hear if you said price difference between them? Just curious 🤔. Night & day difference with looks. lol. I have non-stop distractions. That pool area is banging. So Fun! We have a zinger on #3 drink. You face lite up when u sipped that 1. Lol. Big Parrot Head. He died perfectly right @ the end of summertime. He was the icon of Summer for me. Went out with Grace. ❤him always. Thanks again. 👋😁✌️. 🎶🌈🎶
looks like it was worth the change. That is one of the beauties of RV travel, as there is something to fit every camping need it seems. We love a mix of nice 'resort rv spots', some off grid spots and of course some State/Provincial/National park type sites. A good multi week trip has some of everything. Continued safe travels....
We stayed in a campsite just like this in ft Myers u walk out of ur Rv and ur cement area u can stretch your arm out and touch the slide out of the Rv next to you. It was ridiculous.
Two weeks ago we stayed at the KOA Oceanside in Bar Harbor Maine. We had a beautiful site with a fantastic view of the water untill a giant North point 5 th wheel parked rite on the line that divides the campsites. Needless to say the veiw was gone and the person would not move his rig up and over 5 to 6 feet so we could have some kind of view. He told me after asking him to reposition his camper so we could have a little better view to next time pick a better site.
certainly, I would agree with the first campground being too tight. Perhaps they're under different ownership than when you were previously. I also wonder - is there a difference in the cost of the campgrounds? I suspect the 2nd is a bit more costly than the second - worth it for sure, but I just wonder.
People have to remember that at lot of campgrounds were designed and built for smaller RVs. Some older campgrounds have revamped some of their sites to accommodate larger RVs. But campgrounds are like restaurants. Get more people in to make money. Tables smaller and closer together just like RV sites. Live and learn. Thank goodness some RV parks allow you to move or cancel without you losing money. But, it's camping, not staying in condos, motels, or houses. Enjoy
We don't live far from there. PF is a popular destination for us. We drove through this campground and immediately said, "NOPE, NOPE, NOPE". There are much better options in Pigeon Forge -- check out Pine Mountain RV Park. In nearby Sevierville, our 'go-to place' is Two Rivers Landing on the banks of the French Broad River.
We were shocked when we went to Jellystone in Pigeon Forge last year. This campground is not the quality you come to expect especially compared to other Jellystones. We ended up going to the KOA.
I'm so happy you two can travel & enjoy the journey of exploring together ❤️ you make a great team, I hope I could even rent an rv sometime in my life My dream 4 long time has been to live off grid & tlive and travel by rv But I was in a Carr accident with left me on a budgeted income afterwards & could never afford one but hope 1 day I could at least rent one SAFE TRAVELS & happiest of journeys

Stayed at Camp Margaritaville in Pigeon Forge this past May. Loved it! We’ll be back!
Such a blessing in disguise. Love that you went to margueritaville! You give such great rv reviews/tours. Patty’s happy face is what every vaca should be.
Omg that laundry room and swimming pool if we ever go back, and that 1700 margaritas cart... lazy river got me hooked
Ok. You had me with the pool time. Great decision to move.
Grest site! The other place was pitiful! Love the lazy river. HAPPY CAMPING 😊

That is super tight. I've been to campground like that. Neighbor's picnic table was almost on top of my sewer connection. That is so gross.
Very nice ❤ always stay at Koa in town because its close to everything but I will have to try that park out at least once. Happy trails.
I hate those RV parks where you have no room to breathe. Those with trees in between and a feeling of privacy are my favorite.
