- Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 BS6 is the base variant in the Gixxer SF 250 lineup and is priced at Rs. 1.76 Lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). This BS6 variant comes with an engine putting out 26.5 PS @ 9300 rpm and 22.2 Nm @ 7300 rpm of max power and max torque respectively. They could have provided the latest 2020 MotoGP livery... Blue+grey... Like they did for GSXR1000R... Smaller visor is also a negative feature which they could have looked on to..

I own this machine, and I agree with your points on missing slipper clutch and big speedo. The rear view mirrors are also small. I took test rides of both apache rtr 200 4V and sf250, and I wished sf came with slipper clutch as apache was effortless. Finally, zeroed down to sf250. It's a great bike and road presence is superb.
Even it doesn't have Slipper clutch
It has good cruising speed ♥️ and performance

A few questions before I buy the bike ( planning to buy in October).
1) If you have ridden both the Gixxer 250 and the Gixxer SF250, can you please tell me if the riding triangle remains the same or changes due to one bike having a conventional handlebar and the other having clip-ons?
2) I don't know if you got a chance to ride at night but any idea about the headlight throw and spread on either versions of the bike? I do night shifts so need a good headlight.
3) In the 6th gear, at what RPM does the bike achieve 100Kmph? Basically, I am looking for a sweet spot of 100kmph while touring (If it touches 100Kmph at or above 7K RPM then that is where the vibrations start as per you, and that for me is a deal breaker.
4) Is it worth waiting for the Intruder 250 (I know its a different category but I have owned an NS and and Avenger so either category is fine with me)? That should have better ergonomics for touring (hopefully not like my Avenger which gives spine jarring bumps).
One suggestion would be for you to show the rider triangle from the side view so that people can relate to how high/low, rear/not so rear set the foot pegs are, how much you have to bend to reach the bars, etc.

You don't need a slipper clutch for a 250 cc bike

@@ShivamSingh-bw9rt Slipper clutch used as back torque limiter while rapid downshifts, lower CC bikes (100-300) do not produce much back torque. So even without slipper clutch it's fine.
The problem is we consider Slipper clutch is a must have feature...

You don't need slipper clutch on a 250 cc motorcycle just like you don't need riding modes on the 310rr producing a measly 34 hp or quickshifter and TC on the 390. These are just useless shit. Instead manufacturers should focus on extracting more performance from the existing engines.

When the 250cc models were launched, I had fallen in love with the naked Streetfighter model and badly wanted a test ride of the Suzuki Gixxer 250. The first time I went, I got to ride this model i.e. SF 250. Overall I found it to be really sophisticated and punchy. However, as I am not a fan of fully faired motorcycles(I have mentioned this in your KTM RC 125 video as well 😉) thus I had not really paid attention. However I got lucky d 2nd time I tried taking test ride of the naked version.
Overall a very nice bike. You, my friend, are phenomenal when it comes to helping us with your valuable opinions. Kitna effective video hota KYA HI BATAU BHAI. All the very best. Cheers ❤️❤️❤️

I own a bs4 version. bought on feb this year. great bike, great tourer, very satisfied. my only complains- no slipper clutch, below average brakes, gear shift issues(not permanent, might get fixed in the next service).

Hey bro, I'm not able to decide between sf and naked version. Which one would you suggest considering the need for long rides and riding posture without having back pain.
Also, would installing a handle bar raiser help in better riding posture in sf?
Installing a handle bar riser on SF can be difficult as it’s a clip on.. for long rides naked would make more sense than SF..
But again if you want a motorcycle that stands out then I would say go for SF

hello, Nitish Sir...many reviewers mentioned a problem that is bad brakes on this motorcycle...is that problem solved in the bs6 update? do those brakes have proper feedback?
As mentioned in the video.. the front brake is superb whereas the rear kinda misses out on the feedback and abs kinda intrudes in the rear when only rear brake is applied(intrusion is fine) but the feedback on the rear brake could have been better..
What's about mileage of sf250 bs6???

Dominar 250 can be used for long tour but daily usage is difficult as kerb weight is 180

People are complaining about ergonomics and saying no comfort for rider and pillion and giving tag of highly over rated bike , they forgot R15 I believe, as if R15 is offering great comfort for rider and pillion..that stoned pillion seat is the worst you can get .it's ok if you are a fan of a bike but downgrading other bike does seems a intelligent option. How many of you agree with me and share the same thought?

I have a question. Please someone assist me on this. I have my 1st free servicing due. So I need to do that this weekend. But my bike RTR 200 BS6 has only run 70 -80 km max bcoz of this lockdown. Should I also go for oil change?? I'm asking this bcoz basically in normal days, bcoz of running bike, that engine oil circulate itself to various parts of engine, lubricate it, burns due to friction. But in 70 80km, I am assuming no such thing must have happened....so there's no point putting money to change the oil. Please clarify me if I'm wrong. Suggestions are always helpful

What will be the comfortable and steady stable cruising speed with tolerable or minimum vibrations? what is the maximum RPM suggested as per the user manual in the break in or run in period? And what is the speed in 6 th gear at the above suggested RPM?
Its sweet spot is 130 and u can push the bike till 160 after 2 services

There definitely are vibrations after 95 kmph. It's not revv friendly after 7 thousand rpm. But it can pick up speeds real quick.

@@r15m90 Go with R15 v3 if you want revv Happy engine. It's definitely smoother in higher RPM.

Depends on ur riding choice and style prefernece. Both fairing and non fairing have their pros and cons ,but i like fairing bikes more as i like their styles and riding style

Yes, it's due to covid the manufacturing had gone down. That is also the reason why I couldn't shoot it earlier. Unfortunately the manufacturing was hit across all the brand's..
