- Hi guys, as promised here's my Review of the BS6 Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 2020 model. In this video, I tell you what new the bs6 model has on offer. I also give you my first ride review and motovlog including my signature style acceleration and high speed stability test.

Suzuki is great value for money, gives good stability in highways and give confidence with corners, but its underrated in India
service feedback is worse

Later those 3 centers shifted and closed cz of bad service feedback,loads of complaints.. late delivery ..... Other funding issues
Anyone noticed.. it took 8 seconds to reach 100kmph and 30seconds to reach top speed of 150kmph.. Such an underrated Gem of a bike.. 🙏🏼💕
i just test rode v storm which has the same engine. Not at all impressive. It needs to be revved hard. he is fooling us

On paper it is 10 sec and in real life it's 8 sec.

I have an Old Gixxer 155 ...man what a bike.. it's been almost 4 years ..No punctures , no nothing...The motor has become so smooth after 18000km , good cruising speed 80-100 easy , punchy motor and great riding dynamics..my nexr upgrade will be a suzuki 250
Same here man can cruise easily between 100 to 110 Gixxer 250 will be a worthy upgrade
This bike is my best companion. I am very happy from my Gixxie. Beautiful machine.
Bought one. No complains till now. Everything is great about the bike. ABS kicks in early, which I consider necessary for our bad roads, irresponsible vehicles, people, stray dogs crossing paths all the time.
One of the best decision to buy this beast! 151 KMPH, in BS6 variant states alot. Just imagine it having a better windscreen with a change in lighter silencer will make a hell lot of difference in the pickup and top end.
Even gixxer 150 does 126kmph

After the years back the First Gixxer 150 in India I bought one and after that switching to RE Classic 350 I came back to SF250

Just bought this BS6 SF 250 MotoGp 100th anniversary edition few days bck.
Gears are lil hard, lil problem while drifting. Else everything is good. It goes smooth even in 6th gear.

@dheraj kotla the road presence is good. But I would say it's a city bike & not for long drive. I sold out my RE CLASSIC 500 CC. Just because I wanted a light weight City bike.

I wanted to buy RS200. But dealers in Chennai denied Test Ride for the bike and they look customer like Bike flikers. Then I went to Suzuki showroom almost all showrooms are friendly and then I chose SF250. I did a right decision. These bike is a wonderful machine for Highway cursing. I just changed the visor for wind protection.

DUKE vs GIxxer - my real life experience...
BS 6 250 Duke owner....when my motorcycle started to come on its own after the 1st service and post the break-in period...i thought nothing can come close to her...and true to an extent...on short drags, quarter miles, even standing miles and bumper to bumper traffic....there is no match for her...
but then i was with my friends travelling from Kolkata to Digha...on the highway i met with a G250 SF....and it was not able to keep up in traffic heavy situations where outright acceleration matters...then came an endless stretch of straight roads....and i pinned down the throttle and my motorcycle redlined at 143kmpl...not an inch more...and then...eventually...gradually... this beast caught up to me and overtook me....and was nowhere to be seen in sight...
and we met again at the next tea stall stop. ..its a popular point here in Bengal called Kolaghat...I asked the rider at what speed he topped, he said it was 157....damn that was impressive....and for a motorcycle almost 40K cheaper than the duke and yet outright defeating it on the highway like that..KUDOS to Suzuki.....truly humbled by that motorcycle...and what an experience....
I am not a KTM fanboy...but I love my machine more than anything else...and I love all motorcycles in general...this one is a gem of a product....as much deserving as a KTM if not more...truly underrated as it doesn't sell many units...and thats what frightens me....what if suzuki pulls the plug from this fabulous product....
if I had to choose a worthy competitor to the 250 Duke, this one inches the closest...the FZ25 & Dominar 250 are not even on the same scale...
Should I get R15 v3 or this, please help me decide
I can't believe how many people complain about cooling on a motorcycle and ask for liquid cooling on just about every bike. Sheesh! You want a liquid cooled Splendour too? Cooling is not a feature, it is a necessity and not all bikes produce the same amount of heat. If a motorcycle has a very high compression ratio to the point of milking each horse out of it,then it's going to need liquid cooling to stop it from heating up. If a manufacturer decides to make a bike liquid cooled, oil cooled or air cooled,that depends on how much heat the engine is producing. Barring the service problem due to the dealership network, which by the way shouldn't be an issue in metros and tier 2 cities, the Gixxer is the best quarter litre option in India when you consider all the things. Liquid cooling, liquid cooling for everything. Come on. I promise you, you ride this bike all day and it still won't heat up.
Finally someone explained it well... I'm riding Gixxer SF 150 since last 3 months and no significant issues has been seen upto now... absolutely in love with my machine ❤️

While seeing your review I could see that this do perform much better than the Duke 250. This do offer a better value for money.
This is the best review on Suzuki SF 250 by dino appreciate this for explaining everything.. bike is 10/10 in terms of looks, golden oiled cooled engine, highly refined butter cream engine, ++ ABS,++ braking but the only thing it missing is performance and top end not that aggression and instant pick up like KTM RC.

Those who are requesting comparison with Duke 250. Duke 250 and KTM in general has major technical issues. Like many others, coolant and engine oil got mixed because of engineering design flaw resulted in major service costing 15k. This issue was addressed by Hondas and Kawasaki before 10-15 years. Better you go for an established and proven engine than KTMs.

Tall windscreen will be a good addition as an option. And that crome finish on exhaust is eye sour too. Rest of the bike (250) looks sexy.

If you haven't installed any visor until now,then I suggest to go for the double bubble version of the sf250 visor itself.it won't affect the aesthetics of the bike and will give you good wind protection as well

This bike is great. But i expected a bunch of updates on the bs6 launch.
1. A better speedo console
2. Definetly a better suiting silencer

windshield is an issue and speedo is not much of a concern, but I don't think when I ever look at my sf250 in person, I feel the need to change the exhaust

I haven't felt anything like that, gear shifting is smooth.
Suzuki should really update this bike for 2022. Give it a redesigned face which allows for installation on a more functional windscreen and some fresh new colours.

Recently bought the machine... One word its punchy guys... Punches better than Duke 250 , cbr 250 , apache 200, rc 200, Duke 200 , rs and ns 200 ... Yup the top speed is less.. But hey i live in trivandrum , Kerala.. I don't go top speeds here, don't think about the liquid cooling, get a bubble visor and tuck back it still pushes 150 plus! And reaches 100 very quick!

I am your big fan .. watched your videos since the early days of your blogging , unfortunately i missed many videos in between , But i learned a lot from you about helmets & about bike riding , i bought gixxer 250sf in march 2020, After 2nd service i rode 650 kms in a day but still after riding for 12 hours (with 2.5 hrs of big break inbetween) i felt like i could cover 150-200 kms more , the bike is really comfortable for long rides , but you are right seating posture is really important , I would like to add one more point , if we use good cushion gloves it will damp the effect of handlebar force on hands to certain extent , also i used bicycle gloves , it would be great if you could suggest good budget gloves for riding ..

@@AvinashRathod To be honest i didnt sat behind much but my friend did when we went on a 100 km one side ride & he sat back for straight 2 hours , His feedback was v.good for first 30 kms & after that little ache on back so after one small break we completed 100kms and he was not looking tired at all ,also due to high sit up position he was sliding forward during hard breaks , but it happens in any high pillion sports bike , Comparative to same category sports bike seat has better coushion & Comfort ,in bits you might cover long distance , Now we are planning to go for 250 kms straight in one day with a pillion rider , post ride may b i could answer your question better .
