Thanks for the review! I am looking for a bag for day hiking. I don't need a huge backpack. I also don't want to be the "Fanny pack guy". The regular slings look ok. But, this looks like it would be a lot less back sweaty to wear than a sling. But, way cooler than a fanny pack. Because it's always necessary to look cool while hiking. :)

Hello great review I notice that all the reviews of the condor bag seem to miss the hidden compartment under the flap where the whole pocket will separate (open)from the bag where it is held by a Velcro closure ?

+Iggi While this bag is quite secure when hiking or the occasional leap from boulder to boulder, I personally would use a running specific vest or waist pack for the sustained bouncing incurred while running.

what is the bag made of? 500 or 1000 d or condura?

I don't know the exact weight of the fabric but it is definitely not 1000 cordura. It is a lighter weight cordura that is fairly pliable yet resistant to abrasion on the trail.
