I'm not sure anyone actually cares about the plot(?) of the game, they're just here for Alex and Arthur doing character voices and making gay jokes.
Alex is one of my comfort TH-camrs and I love his channel but when this came up on my notifications it honestly hurt, when I read the tittle my hurt sank and gave a pain in my throat.
While I don’t think Alex meant any harm, it still has a negative impact. If you don’t get why it’s harmful Jessie Gender has a really good video explaining and expressing why.

Because it’s a good game? Why can’t you get this into your head? It’s a game based on a film/book that we grew up with and it executes it brilliantly, the developers of the game who spent years making this aren’t JK Rowling why should they also be punished?
@@joeteale Well first, the devs dont get royalties, they've already had their pay for the game so thats kinda a non-argument. Second, I'm not even overly supportive of a boycott, I dont think its particularly productive, but it massively disappoints me that when a large number of trans people asked for the smallest act of solidarity, a whole lot of people who like to promote themselves as allies immeadiately gave up. We dont get to pick and choose when we can be bothered to stand up for trans rights, it's our everyday.
