So happy to see that you bought Bambi a beautiful personalized Christmas gift!🎄… this tells me that she’s probably with her family for Christmas but will join you again shortly!❤ That makes me happy!❤️❤️❤️
The following cafes opened in BGC just this month: Blackmug, Gimme Coffee, Mamonaku Kohi Coffee, Zus Coffee, Tomoro Coffee, Waroeng Kopi, Brew & Bites, Tiong Bahru Bakery.
Ahh, such a nice gift for Bambi! I guess you have had some time to walk around BGC while Bambi is working. I hope you had a lovely Christmas together. Have a very happy new year!
Wow! I'm Filipino and have never been around BGC. I always visit different islands every time I go to the Philippines from the US. Cavite is where I come from, so we always go to Tagaytay. Enjoy and have fun! 🇵🇭
Yellow Cab used to the standard of locally owned pizza chains but its not that affordable anymore especially when you have other chains like S&R/Landers, Pizza Hut etc that while not the best its decent enough and brings more value to your money.
My wife and I had the same experience at yellow cab and it is a red baron pizza .because my wife who is also filipina said that she saw them grab thw pizza from a freezer so it was a frozen pizza you got
Hey mate the camera you use in your description is broken, the link doesnt work anymore, what camera do you use? For the price, the SIZE and also taste, S&R pizza is great. Just 109 pesos a piece, it's a great meal. The dough, the cheese are perfect. For the best pizza, I think HAND TOSSED pizzas are big contenders because even the doughs are stretching as you bite. That's the magic there. 😊
What's BGC like at midnight and to 4am or so? Is there food markets / restaurants open, people around, not just clubs? I'd likely work to midnight during the work week, so wonder if there's anything to do that's not drinking or clubing.
I think a 4 was generous of you on the Pizza. It looks like it came from 711. At 15:50 I think that you did your math wrong and actually said a good pizza will be about 101,000 pesos?😳
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Zane & Bambi! Question: Do you meet your subscribers? My Filipina wife and I are travelling the Philippines right now and would enjoy meeting you both. We will be staying in BGC Uptown ParkSuites from Jan 11 to 17. HMB!
There's a yellow cab in uptown much closer to you, but you literally passed the best pizza in BGC on your way, the Sbarro at uptown mall, ask them too cook it for 15 minutes or it will be undercooked, other then that its the best you can do here. Or in Makati, Sbarro in Glorietta. Sbarro might suck in the usa but its actually better here, and in the Philippines you do not always get what you pay for, new here? mabuhay
Yellow Cab is good, the flavor/type of pizza you bought is plain and ordinary. You should have tried their specialty like NY's finest aside from pepperoni.
Yellowcab is bettee than s&r. Its smaller but tastier than snr. Greenich is lowest rank for me. Amano is of a diff level like ginos. So its not a fair comparison. Shud compare all fastfood style pizza like dominos papa johns pizzahut etc
Yellow cab is pass its glory days. It's peak was in the early 2000's, around 2000's - 2010's the food is Amazing it tastes authentic Italian new York style pizza. After it was bought by Max' group in 2011 it went downhill they cheap out on the ingredients and they turned into a proper fast food restaurant and when I say proper fast food I don't mean it as a complement.
S&R's New York Style pizza is very good. Just the fact that it's New York Style 18" pizza makes it better. The BEST way to eat New York Style pizzas is to FOLD them like a taco. That's how it's done and that's why New York Style pizza is VERY POPULAR. A FOLDED piece of New York Style pizza brings in the magic. 😊
When your daily wage is 300 pesos to 350 pesos in the province, that will buy you a nice Latte, two classes rich and very poor. Very nice BGC but only for the rich Filipino and foreigners :)
but still many Filipinos can still afford them so such businesses still exist so what your point?! or should i mention that the US is an exact opposite where malls are empty and establishments are closing down?
Sometimes earning low and poverty is a choice for some Filipinos. I have a friend working as a Security Guard in Makati. Earning 28k - 35k pesos a month. He resigned and settled in the province earning 350 a day as construction workers. I strongly advised him that he needs to prepare financially if he wants to settled in the province. He did not listen. Now he is having a hard time. Barely survive sometimes he have no money to buy rice for his family. He want to go back to his old job but he has no money anymore for his fare, to renew his license, to pay for rent (advance payment and deposit)
@@macolet9711 I am sure he had a valid reason --probably he missed his family at that time, needing a support system, which is to him is more important than money or maybe city life stresses him out and misses province life. @ßhopkins yes his reason is he wants to stay with his family. The point is there is opportunity to earn a decent wage in the Philippines. As, I've said its their CHOICE to be poor and earn low wages. That mentality na "puro kayo pera" is the reason why a lot of Filipinos are poor. If you want to succeed, you must chase your dreams and grab the opportunity that comes your way. Save and get ready financially if you want to settled with your family.
@@ßhopkins im not judgemental, he's the one who told me that life in their province is difficult. But, he already has a ready job in construction if he go home. He thought that 300 pesos is enough if you live a simple life there. Now, he admitted that he should have listen to me and should stay in his previous job. Keep his family in the province and save as much as he can before settling down in the province.
The reason you like BGC so much is it nothing like most of metro manila. Rent and Condos in America much more but such upscale areas abound . Save up get nice condo in Scottsdale or Florida.
Could it be that he likes BGC bec it offers the amenities, comfort and convenience he needs --with an absence of fear, WITHOUT KARENS ON THE STREET, WITHOUT MASS SHOOTINGS, WITHOUT THE NEED TO GET INTO TOXIC POLITICAL DISCUSSSIONS, NO ROAD RAGE AND WOKE PEOPLE who need to look down on less privileged countries just to feel good about themselves. Hence, BGC is actually a paradise for Americans. 😊
You are prime working age and need to save for retirement. You need to go back to your home country and get a job, get to work. Otherwise your next destination will be poverty .
@ It’s my own opinion based on the pizzas I’ve tried while I was there, I can’t suggest a good one because I didn’t go to any restaurant where I liked the pizza. If you want a pizza based on the ones I like, my go to is either Papa John’s or Domino’s, but don’t know how they differ from the ones in Canada.

Christian Dior perfume with Bambi’s name engraved - sana all 😊

Much better to visit the different islands. BGC just looks like any other bussiness districts in the states though much safer imo.
Also check out Opus Mall, Solaire Shoppes, Okada and Greenhills Mall
you might want to check out caravan black coffee.

Hey Zane, the name of that coffee shop is actually called 'Arabica.' The symbol in the logo represents the arabica tree rather than a percentage.
What currency convrter app is that? I like not having to type in the numbers.
Chicago's pizza will be one of the things I'd miss when I retire in the Philippines.
Shakey's pizza with the fried chicken and mojo's combo. That's the way to go...
Bambi will love the gift you brought her and let us know what she said
Nolita Joe’s in Poblacion. Best pizza and local craft beer. Huge slices. Sarap!!
Nice video. The pizza looked delicious to me.
Try Costa pizzeria in Salcedo.

It's simply subjective, subscribers. Like, for me, I choose Yellow Cab Pizza any day over Greenwich Pizza. It's all subjective.
try shakeys pizza

There is another famous pizza, the Angels pizza
which also sucks

I thought Yellow Cab was the best pizza in the Philippines, but Landers is very close.
Yellowcab is close to the bottom when it comes to pizza here. They have been closing locations as well. I am in Makati and we have way better spots.
@@MVTX The single time I had Yellow Cab pizza must have been special. But I will say Lander's is the best.
Just tell them you want your pizza a bit crispy so leave it in oven longer. I dont think this guy did that.

I agree, Greenwich is better than Yellow Cab pizza.
Very surprised you were told yellow cab was one of the best.🤦♂️
The crust is thin, therefore should be crispy. Definitely, will not pass because it's soggy.
Angeles pizza in BGC the best

Yellow Cab is atrocious. Furthest thing from pizza I ever tasted.
Was not expecting ...said every pinoybaiter ever
just from the look, i can tell its not an authentic american pizza
Hey Zane, I plan to visit Philippines in 2025. Maybe we can meetup for pizza in BGC
