    I'm a paying trackpass customer but thrilled to see part 2 is the IMSA TV feed. Thank you! RLM does an amazing job and the continuous sound is great.

      Honestly, I'd have cancelled the trackpass immediately after that horrible coverage in part one. I rather watch commercials than have my audio cut every 2 minutes. What a joke.

      You've more tolerance for NBC's incompetence than do I. I got through about forty five minutes, and I'd had more than enough. I'm quite relieved that the comments were right that actual commentators would be doing the second half.

    As one of the first employees of Road Atlanta. The News coverage with the cameras nowadays is awesome. Back in the '70's we didn't have good camera coverage as we do today. Enjoy this cam coverage w/ todays technology!! In the early '70's it was pitiful !! You had to be there to see it! Couldn't get it on TV. I loved every moment that I worked at Road Atlanta!!

    I think Taylor should have been penalised for the incident. The move wasn't on since Derani clearly hadn't opened the door and was on the racing line. Bad judgement by Taylor. At the very least he should have been penalised for unsafe re-entry.

    I love the Radio Le Mans host as much as anybody, but I don’t get all the bashing on the NBC feed. NBC feed had the collision between the 63 Ferrari and 77 Mazda sorted out half an hour before Radio Le Mans did. I also like how NBC puts cameras in the pitlane so you can see the personalities they’re interviewing. The IMSA team needs a camera following Shae around. I do agree that NBC has too many commercials though. I like the NBC feed as I can skip through the commercials and finish watching the race sooner. It’s tough for me to watch a full endurance race.

    • @A.F.Whitepigeon
      @A.F.Whitepigeon 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      *Strongly* disagree on the pit-lane interviews. That's one of the most frustrating things about the WEC coverage, and I really don't want to see it bleed over into IMSA. I'm here to watch racing, not talking.

  • @HarrieWorst
    @HarrieWorst 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Judging from what I can see, the Derani and Taylor incident was just a very unlucky racing incident imho. Is Ricky Taylor at fault for racing, or is Derani at fault for defense his position? Imho neither. I really think the decision the stewards made, is in favour of racing.

    • @tommythetreat000
      @tommythetreat000 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Derani left Taylor enough space to make a move. Maybe he didnt think Taylor would try it and didnt see him. I think its a racing incident.

    #3 was in 2nd place for GTLM ahead of the 912 when he drove off the track and caused a caution. Locking everyone in place for the ending giving #911 the GTLM win!

    • @nathanstroud2223
      @nathanstroud2223 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @phil j He was insinuating that the #912 crashed on purpose with the Lexus to help the #911 car win. I don't necessarily agree, but a team that can't win the championship and is going away after this year really has nothing to lose from cheating.

    Has IMSA turned into NASCAR now? IMO Taylor should have been penalized for crashing into Derani, plus an unsafe return to the racing circuit in which he almost took out the #10. If this incident had occurred in Europe, Taylor would have been penalized.
