I had this situation w/ my son n a girl who liked him, my son didn't want to hit her but she kept on so I told him to let her have it next time, well. she went crying to her parents that he hit her so I let them know what the deal was
In the show's 1st season titled "Oh How We Met The Night That We Danced" Richie stepped on Ellen's toes on purpose because he wanted to marry her, emulating how Daddy(Rob) got Mommy(Laura). In turn, Richie was beat up by Priscilla because she loved Richie(and wouldn't kiss her); Priscilla emulated her Mom(Dolly) on how she beat up on her Dad(Odgen), believing that's how you show love to another person

OMG I never noticed that! I just kept remembering that the actor appeared in at least two other DVDS episodes - Teachers Petrie, and the episode where Laura gets her big toe stuck in the bathtub faucet.

I've always felt that Bernard's final performance, in The Mummy, was a fitting exit from his long-term acting career. He got to become a jovial pilot and a hero, along with previous roles including warlock, medical doctor, a colonel and portraying a survivor, Archibald Gracie IV, aboard the Titanic (the movie, 1997).

That screechy "Rooob!" "Rooob!" was SO irritating! Blasted script writers really did not know how to make "Laura" a real woman instead of a whiny, nearly cowardly, woman.
