Millie plays The Nanny's grandmother and on one episode she was asked about her husband and she pulled out a picture of Jerry and said this was her deceased husband!
The forgotten actor at the beginning of this clip (notice no applause) is the late Bill Idelson, who was not only a fine comedy supporting actor, but an excellent writer, as well as a television producer. RIP Bill, I remember you!
THis was great and thank you for uploading for us to enjoy. Those of us who grew up watching THe DIck Van Dyke show loved it and this show brings back a little of the old magic. Mary Tyler Moore has had brain surgery, she appeared on Betty White's Birthday show, no close ups but she did not look well. Her use or non use of plastic surgery is non of our business and it is sad that people feel the need to criticize what she looked like 8 years ago. Please say a prayer for her.
This is what we all grew up on, and I can only speak for my beautiful wife and myself, and we still watch today, literally. This cast will never die, in a manner of speaking, hey Dick Van Dyke is still living. Plus, my wife and I watch on MeTv shows like, Bonanza, The Mary Tyler Moore Show, The Bob Newhart Show, the list of these 60’s and 70’s shows goes on and on, they’re not suggestive like today’s tv shows. They’re still very enjoyable.
Its always cool to see the old characters again. I don't know why, but I don't remember this was on. I completely missed it. Glad it is posted here. Everyone looks older, but holding up well considering how long its been since the show was off the air.
Of course they look old - they are old. I was in college in the late 60s and I look old. WE were never supposed to look old, but guess what happens. You young'uns now, it will creep up on you before you know it.
I thought it was cute. Obviously the tone of the show is a somewhat slower, as the characters have aged a bit. Rose Marie is, as Always, Pitch Perfect in timing. Millie did surprisingly well too. Nice job.
it's unlikely a young couple couple like the petries from the early 60s would still be living in the same house. as for duplicating the set, it would have cost nearly nothing in tv dollars.
There was a very early episode of 3rd Rock From The Sun, I think the 10th ever episode, where Dick was in a similar situation. He had to write a eulogy for a man who everyone despised. Although in that case, the man had already died before Dick found out he had to do it. By the way, the man in question was played by John Mahoney, who played Martin on Frasier.
It’s quite a strange coincidence that I just happened to stumble across this video where Carl Reiner mentions his eulogy given that he died just a few months ago. RIP Carl. He was a comedic genius.
Mary is acting more like Mary Richards than Laura Petrie. She should have looked at some old episodes before shooting this. It is good to see her and the whole group though.
OMG! What a wonderful sight to see a reunion with Dick & Mary, Carl Reiner and Rose Mary once again! Just loved them and still do. How long did this "Revisited Show" last? I had no idea they re-teamed and came back to TV in 2010.
Mary Tyler Moore is acting like Mary Richards instead of Laura. I know she hasn't played this chreacter in over 30 years but she should have watched old tapes.
+DistroJump I think Mary's character was the only one off a bit. Everyone else was an old version of their former self. But if you think about it, Laura was a meek wife before women's lib took off, so I would expect her to grow into a stronger woman that just happens to be similar to Mary Richards. As long as she is with Rob, I don't care.
Laura wasn't just a meek wife. She was sweet but she always stood up for herself and was opinionated. I think it's a big misfire that they changed her completely into Mary Richards. Real people simply don't change their personality that much. It's nice to see the old gang together for one last time though. Rest in peace MTM.
I think it's also because she was very young on the Dick Van Dike show. It's hard to re-capture your "innocent" ingénue style once you mature. The others were already established adults.
I couldn't agree with you more. And she and Dick Van Dyke were both still obviously very physically active, or they never would've been able to pull off those dances. :)
Well I think Mary looks FABULOUS for her age, considering she's battled diabetes among other things her entire adult life. The MTM and DVD Shows were my Number One Shows as a kid watching it on Nick at Night in the 90's. I had mountains of VHS tapes recording the entire series. If TV was my family, Mary was my Mom. :-D
So glad they stayed true to the characters...so many re-makes were RUINED bu some dope producers who thought they would make the cast better or inrroducenew "whacky" people.
To those who are complaining about Mary Tyler Moore's cosmetic surgeries, it's easy to say "let yourself go naturally" when you live in everyday America, but when you're in the limelight, it's something else entirely. Besides, we should all ask ourselves, is that any of our business? Are we watching this show to pass judgment on her appearance (the answer should be a big fat no) or are we here to pay homage to great classic actors? I love all these guys.
It was on CBS in 2004. Thus Ray Romano introduced it. CBS did a special in 1969 on DVD and MTM reunion They did a DVD Show retrospective in 1979 together, from the set of The NEW Dick Van Dyke Show.
wait a minute. In that old clip from the haunted cabin Rob and Laura can be in the same bed because buddy and Sally are there? But at home they have to be a separate beds?
If they were home alone in the same bed they could have sex. The optics of the same bed left too much to the imagination. Back then it was considered highly unlikely that they would have sex while Buddy and Sally were in the bed with them.
I guess Ann Guilbert was good at faking that slow walk when she played Yetta on The Nanny....also she played Sophia Loren's mother in the film Grumpier Old Men.
these characters still work well together so many years later. The show dosent really miss a beat in so many years
RIP Ann Guilbert. Loved her as Millie Helper!
She was truly special. Wasn't she special? She was special. (in tribute to her)
How fast it all goes by, in TV Land and in our real lives. Thank you for a look back at some of our favorite actors. 👏♥️
Millie Helper lived several year after her TV husband, Jerry Paris. She even appeared as Wilson's mother on Home Improvement.
Millie plays The Nanny's grandmother and on one episode she was asked about her husband and she pulled out a picture of Jerry and said this was her deceased husband!
Sweet trivia! Ty!😉
@tconlon251 And another time she thought Brighton was Richie, then turned and saw herself in a mirror and said, ".. and there's Millie!"
OMG!!!! I DIDN'T KNOW THAT!!!!
I'm gonna look that up next!
She's also on grumpier old men.♥️
The forgotten actor at the beginning of this clip (notice no applause) is the late Bill Idelson, who was not only a fine comedy supporting actor, but an excellent writer, as well as a television producer. RIP Bill, I remember you!
Carl Reiner still had it til the end! We still watch his old shows and interviews.
These are great .. wonderful to see everyone again

Wow....what a fabulous episode. So good to see everyone.

At the 6:35 mark, Rob says his brother just got in from Danville. Dick and Jerry are from Danville, Illinois!
I wish they did more of these! Millie is even better older 😂 and Stacey is killing me 😄
I think Dick is the only one still alive.
I would love a Brady bunch one
He'll be 98 in December. (I hope)@@whatuptho7612
The Dick Van Dyke show Revisited was just a one time special, back in 2004.
Of course they look old - they are old. I was in college in the late 60s and I look old. WE were never supposed to look old, but guess what happens. You young'uns now, it will creep up on you before you know it.
ONE OF THE GREATES TV SHOWS IN HISTORY.
I thought it was cute. Obviously the tone of the show is a somewhat slower, as the characters have aged a bit. Rose Marie is, as Always, Pitch Perfect in timing. Millie did surprisingly well too. Nice job.
Why did the producers feel the need to have Rob and Laura move out of their home? They went to the trouble and expense of duplicating the set.
Good point
it's unlikely a young couple couple like the petries from the early 60s would still be living in the same house. as for duplicating the set, it would have cost nearly nothing in tv dollars.
Hard to see the Petrie's as grandparents, but it's a nice thing to see.
There was a very early episode of 3rd Rock From The Sun, I think the 10th ever episode, where Dick was in a similar situation. He had to write a eulogy for a man who everyone despised. The one who plays Millie is so funny
Thank you for doing this. Can you post Part 3 and Part 4?
I like it, they all still have it! I love Ann Guilbert she can still play Millie.
A time when we had real entertainers!
Even though I know they're acting, I totally believe in their characters.
This was perfect all around
It’s quite a strange coincidence that I just happened to stumble across this video where Carl Reiner mentions his eulogy given that he died just a few months ago. RIP Carl. He was a comedic genius.
Mary is acting more like Mary Richards than Laura Petrie. She should have looked at some old episodes before shooting this. It is good to see her and the whole group though.
Both DVD and MTM still look slim and tall and seem pretty flexible - if dance training can keep you that way, more people should do it.
DVD does Tai Che he had a commercial for quite a while.
HR works wonders too. Looks like she fought off the big M

12 years and and still no answer. This was a tv special and it was only this one time episode
Plus, it was made in 2004
God bless them ALL
Thanks for the wholesome laughs
You can't go home again
Everyone is lovely, but I wish I had a neighbor like Millie! How genuinely funny and charming ❤️
I didn't realize SHE was Milly! Haha, I LOVE her!
Millie Helper... also known as Yetta Rosenburg on "The Nanny."
This is great.
This was great. Amazing really.
Mary Tyler Moore is acting like Mary Richards instead of Laura. I know she hasn't played this chreacter in over 30 years but she should have watched old tapes.
I think she written to be Mary Richards instead of Laura. This whole thing was messy.
+DistroJump I think Mary's character was the only one off a bit. Everyone else was an old version of their former self. Her "Oh Rob" was definitely more Mary Richards than Laura Petrie...I really see what you mean. Her character does seem a bit "off"
I think it's also because she was very young on the Dick Van Dike show. It's hard to re-capture your "innocent" ingénue style once you mature.
The others were already established adults.
love Millee, thx for upload
I couldn't agree with you more. And she and Dick Van Dyke were both still obviously very physically active, or they never would've been able to pull off those dances. :)
This is so great! 😄😄😄
CBS should’ve kept this on, along with the other comedies. The future of reboots.
Carl Reiner said it was a one shot deal.
this is so surreal..in a good way :-)
Jeez.. I would’ve watched the heck out of this if it was a series.
Stacey Petrie may have been a bit cringey but its always fun seeing Dick and Jerry together ❤ He has a lot of love for his little brother
Well I think Mary looks FABULOUS for her age, considering she's battled diabetes among other things her entire adult life. Cant believe I've never seen this before.
This is perfect! I've been waiting for this to be put on TH-cam. Is The Carol Burnett Special posted too? Thank you for posting!!
Dick Van Dyke is the only one still alive.
This is perfect! I've been waiting for this to be put on TH-cam. Is The Carol Burnett Special posted too?
I feel uncomfortable to see Millie without jery
Not sure I needed to see this, but I probably won't remember it.
LOL @ Stacy. "I think it's botox"...LMAO!!!
Mary just had sugery to remove a tumor in her brain in Sept. of this year, give the lady a break!!
I love this
this is a must have
Rose Marie was great on this AND Hollywood Squares!
And “The Doris Day Show”.
Ahh yes!!! Herman Glimpsure!!!
They are still so funny.

Fadhila NS here th-cam.com/video/RGg3x7oxTds/w-d-xo.html
Gosh Mary Tyler Moore is perfection.
Yes....she looks beautiful by today's standards forget about the 1960's when she was on the dick van dyke show
Actually, I looked it up to check, and it was the 8th ever episode.
So glad they stayed true to the characters...so many re-makes were RUINED bu some dope producers who thought they would make the cast better or inrroducenew "whacky" people.
Goodness! Herman Glimpsher has answered the phone! Tu, 11/26/2019
Rip Carl Reiner 2020.
Wow! I never saw this. Looking on youtube I can't find part 3, can anyone help? Thanks, it's very curious that it was deleted.

Where is part 3
Can you re-upload part 3 and 4? Can't find it anywhere else.
I wasn't aware of this - was it televised? Loved the original series!
+Sewnknit It was on TV Land.
It was on CBS in 2004. Thus Ray Romano introduced it.
CBS did a special in 1969 on DVD and MTM reunion
They did a DVD Show retrospective in 1979 together, from the set of The NEW Dick Van Dyke Show.
@PaulieDi it was just a special and it was around 2006
I think Mary Tyler Moore loks wonderful!

Too bad that they waited so long. The others who died could have been in it.
My god how come Milly looks 100 and Laura looks like she barely aged? Weren't they the same age?
Millie was 8 years older.
This coulda been a series....
En väldigt bra scen tycker jag också väldigt bra gjort 🤪🤪👊👊
Where’s part 3-4????
Actually, the actress who played Pickles is alive as of 2013.
Yeah. Barbara Perry is her name, born in 1923. :)
She was the first. I consider the first the original. The second one died in the 80s.
Part 3 was removed by TH-cam? Wonder why.
You know what? It was probably all the flashbacks. Copyright.
They're all gone now. Except Dick!
Why was Part 3 removed?
Not too sure about that. Just looked on google images and she did not age at all well.
What movie do u wanna see we made a date to go to dinner yeah what food do u won a see good old Stacey
I guess Ann Guilbert was good at faking that slow walk when she played Yetta on The Nanny....also she played Sophia Loren's mother in the film Grumpier Old Men.
lara looks great. i dont mind growing old i just want to look better than i did younger. lara looks better older
