Great vid dude. I think Moffat was in a corner and the way he decided to write out of it worked well. I’d have loved for Eccleston to return, but it is what it is. Now tackle the timeless child and the Time of the Doctor’s regeneration paradox!
Would've been way better for me. The only doctor not to have a series becomes the War Doctor. If Russell T. Davies says that 8 was the War Doctor then Moffat should've stuck with it unless the BBC got in the way.
I believe the Timeless Child make sense of River Song regeneration capabilities, because it take out the regeneration from the Time Lords and place it in the Time Vortex in itself, being The Doctor the most related being in the Universe to the time vortex.
You rebuild the sets of Genesis of the Daleks and using CGI and green screen you put Peter Davison and David Tennant along side Tom Baker. The same techniques was used in Star Trek's 30 anniversary episode Trials the Tribbations
The 50th anniversary episode should have been 2 parts. In part 1 we learn the 4th Doctor did connect the two wires together...triggering the Time War. The 5th and 10th Doctor's team up to stop the Fourth Doctor and no you don't use a lookalike Tom Baker
I hate the way they acted as if the War Doctor is the mysterious doctor when he probably had more screen time than 8. Hurt was great, but the extra incarnation feels unnecessary. I'm just salty that they didn't just say if not 9, then we'll go with 8 as the War Doctor. Now both 8 and War (2 Doctors) have less than an hour of screen time.
Of course, in The Curse of Fatal Death, "even the universe can't bear to be without the Doctor!" So, he regenerated a 14th time ... into Joanna Lumley..... Female Doctor: Really [touching herself] I've always wanted to get my hands on one of these! Emma [Julia Sawalha], disgusted: Unfortunately *I* haven't! [That HAD to be an injoke....]

Once the Chibnall era is over, I might try and tackle the Timeless Child.
Deserves more views.
In the short story Doctor Who and The Time War written by Russell T Davis it's the Eighth Doctor "who" is the War Doctor

Thank you.
You're welcome.

The Curse of Fatal Death deserves its own video!
