The Shi’ar Empire were a huge part of the Phoenix Saga in the OG show, they reference a lot of it in this episode, Liandra has a psychic connection with Charles, eventually they felt in love but with both having leaders responsibilities in different parts of the galaxy, it was imposible for them to be together. At the end of the OG show when Charles was dying, Liandra and the Shi’ar took Charles away to find a way to save him, the X-men were there, so they know he was taken to try to find a way to save him, that’s probably why the X-Men never say “he’s dead”, they say “he’s gone”, but to the world they made it look like he died. Fast forward 1 year later and having no news about him being out of danger or not, I think even them lost a little hope on the professor being OK. This episode was very exciting, since episode 1 I’ve been waiting for them to adress the actual ending of season 5, cause we all knew Charles was alive.
Forge is a Cheyenne native American..from a line of shaman i believe. He would have been a shaman but his mutant power sent him down another path. From what i remember
Keep in mind when they are talking about earth as a ghetto it is the earth of that marvel universe.Our earth is not in any marvel universe or dc universe etc..
