2 legendary trucks by Mack. Old school R model pulling the Superliner. If both were rehabbed, they would be worth a small fortune!!!!

Hello only 4trucks I do like Mack truck super liner and R600 and B Model I do like all Mack, and also I do like Peterbilt 359 and 379 that’s it … I’m really watching yours videos with two cameras one back and front , that’s was amazing..
@@njfinests I can't say that far just yet, but it will be getting down to the frame rails, minus air lines and electrical wiring. And we will be sandblasting and painting the frame and polishing the aluminum and changing a few of the components along the way
An old skool truck pulling a newer one is not unusual
I sold all my Pete’s, 2 389’s and a 359 and got back in a Mack. Once they get in your blood, nothing else compares.
I couldn't agree more man. I love all kinds of truck but a Mack has my heart lol

I got jealous when I saw the spill gate on the B model.(although I’m to big to fit in the cab) No shovel! One of the best inventions was when they put a scale on the loader at the quarry. Never had to shovel the excess stone after that!
That tall stack wouldn’t last to long on some of the streets in Philly. The city uses trucks to trim the trees along the side of the road. (City line ave) When raining or worse snowing, the limbs hang much lower. Have had my mirror knocked out of whack a few times.
Hahaha that's hilarious, and I agree on the scales in the loaders. And yea the tall stack can cause some issues in spots but I try to make it work lol. Until it hits something significant I'll take the risk hahah

Nothing like a Mack, As a kid in the 1960's I loved to see the B-Models at work when the Milk delivery came a would watch the Driver pull up to the store. As luck would have it when I got my CDL the first tractor I drove was a R-Model Mack twin screw hauling soda from Westborough, Ma to Florence N.J. and back.

@@Only4Trucks I am a third generation driver My Grandfather delivered Coal & Ice with horse and buggy when they came to Boston in 1912 farmers from Italy, My Dad was a Driver from the 1950's to 1980's so he taught me a lot with classic trucks now I am retired from Driving after 25 years I have ear disease and suffer with dizziness and vertigo attacks not safe to drive a semi anymore . Keep up your hard work it will pay off.
I hauled stone out of the quarry in a 7 axle R model dump back in the day. Great truck, so fun to drive empty.

I did the same thing last week on a double left down in Tennessee, and I'm a 20 year driver.
I thought I was going to get roasted for it lol
I have stumbled on my perfect channel, big fan of old school classic American trucks and also, a big fan of new york, only managed to visit once from England but loved the place. So a channel where a guy drives classic trucks in an old style way, with those sounds around new york... perfection. Love the channel, keep those videos coming. 👊🤙

My favorite trucks Bull dog Mack’s drove many of them that a fine ole R model that’s a nice SuperDog that stove pipe sounds fantastic what’s in there a e7 300

Great video got to love those R model Mack’s. Glass packs on duel stacks like my old man’s RS700L on my profile picture was just a little too loud. Years later he would wear earplugs while driving it. Yours sounds perfect though.

Nothing like a mack with a Jake brake,I grew up the street from a steel haulers who had tons of room models,b models all kinds of trucks,and guess what I'm leased to them now except he sold out to another steel carrier. It's be great.

man got to love the sound of those old trucks, i bet if uncle sam did not require the emissions crap on the new trucks then they would sound good too. just a heads up for your boss, the company down here where i live called perdue farms might be selling an old white/gmc soon and some of their newer trucks and they usually sell them cheap. does the r model have the rears that are horizontal instead of vertical? nice video as always, waiting on the video where you talk about the trucks you like and don't like and for what reasons you do or don't.

Hey old buddy you too peel the paint off the Mack letters you can get a red permanent marker and it will make those letters look good try it😊

Wow that R-model has an absolutely beautiful singing voice. I dont know my diesels well (little on any semis), but is that a Detroit in er?
When you haul anything with a turbo you need to duct tape the exhaust so the turbo won't spin without lubrication.
That's why I backed it on so the exhaust was facing the opposite direction of the oncoming wind so it wouldn't spin the turbo
US SUPERLINER dont have twin Donaldson air cleaners I see
