Genie replaces both of them with the respective people they're jealous of at the same time (ignore them fact that Himmel has been dead for a while now)
There are different levels to pacifism. Some believe in doing no harm except in self defense. She might also be pacifist toward humans but not toward other monsters/demons. Also the guy calling her that might be using it as a derogatory term just because she isn't as willing to sacrifice/kill people to achieve her goals as he is.
Also, I love the detail that most dungeons were cleared in the era leading to the demon kings death. You just know Himmel and co. cleared all of them. The timing is too perfect
I love that universally, every person who watches this show sees CopyFrieren and thinks about dragging it towards a mimic. It just makes sense. Also, as funny as the moment at 14:07 is, that magic is supposed to be restraining Frieren completely, and it didn't even slow her down from giving a hug back.
Everyone did thought about fetching a mimic and placing it right in front of the clone lmao. But after Edel confirming that the clones cannot be hypnotized, since it has no mind of its own, then the mimic idea is thrown out the window. kek.
Yeah, it has no mind. It's like it was just programmed to copy the abilities and skills of the real person but for it to have actual thoughts and personality nope. Basically AI that generate results and behave based on how it was programmed and no actual independent thoughts and personality
I don't think that's entirely true. The murder girl's clone shows they think and have personalities similar to the original as well. That is why she went for the bottle and that is why she was dragging out the kill. The only thing different than the original is its desire to attack people that the original doesn't necessarily process.
My thought is that even if the mimic idea could have worked, do we really think Frieren (and by extension the copy) would go check it out in the middle of an active battle? Hell no. She'd take care of the threats first and then go look at the grimoire, like what they did with the red dragon way back.
23:26 I mean, they do not have the same level of information the others have. It's not like they have a big council of information exchange between scenes, they've been trapped there.
The whole point of the murder girl's clone scene was to show they do think like the original, they are just motivated to attack them. You could probably substitute "mind" for "sentience". Like robots, they don't have sentience, or a free will, but a robot can think and calculate based on their programming. They might not be able to have a new or independent thought beyond the original programming tho, so hypnotic suggestion implanting new thoughts wouldn't likely work.
@@Vanlifecrisis but that´s the thing, they don´t "think" they just act based on what they already know (programming like you said), so when a clone attacks you it´s not thinking about anything, it´s just doing what it was programmed to do
I had the same thought as you, but instead of a Mimic, I figured they could just rig a bomb inside of a chest and throw it into the room with Fieren's double.
They throw the chest they think is a mimic into the chamber, but in the end that chest turns out to be the 1% failure rate and it actually contains a legendary grimoire and the the clone becomes that much more powerful.
I am so excited to see what Fern is gonna do, the confidence is so good. Also man Land really is just a dude with Aizen powers essentially with his clones, it's neat. I'm glad the mage groups are slowly gathering together too, seems like the final push.
Mirror matches in fighting games are so fun. A great exploration of the character as you get to experience what you do to other players and see how well you can handle it. I understand why some people do not like them, but I enjoy the chaos that they can bring.
I think Fern thinks she can beat Frieren because of her speed. Frieren has even said, Fern can cast spells at a higher rate then her; Maybe it's not a matter of power, but speed, and proper application of force. If Frieren can distract her clone, the clone may not be able to defend against both mages casting high volume attacks, and then it comes down to a matter of defensive speed versus offensive speed- which Fern wins
well tbf it makes sense fern would be the one to kill her back in the first few episodes when they were together frieren didnt notice fern following her because she completely suppressed her mana which frieren cant dont unless shes not moving. but it also makes sense she could defeat frieren since shes been with her for quite a few years
Biggest problem with trying to use a mimic on copy Frieren is that Frieren already cleared the rest of the dungeon and you know she found every mimic so there's none left to even try that strategy with.
22:52 well, i think its more like even if they copy them, it copy they behavior, and they fight with instinct. So with mimic, i was thinking same, but i think it will fail, because for that u nede have mind, and think about stuff. With "pacifist" mage, its also same. In shorts they will fight like real, but trying distract them with "over there" it will fail. its what i interpretade
Land knows that information is power, of course he´s not going to tell people that he´s a clone, that´d defeat the whole purpose of using clones to begin with
‼️Everyone locates the series faster with their original names‼️ I don't know why they have the bad habit of translating everything, seriously what is the need to do that 😒
14:03 Methode: **is trying to restrain Frieren with all her might** Frieren: Smells nice **hugs**
14:07 Himmel and Sein are so jealous right now, of different people tho.

Wakfu pfp ? W
Sein is so missing out
Sense: "I'm a pacifist."
Also Sense: Has fucking drill hair.
"I don't like fighting, but if you cross me, I will leave you in a ditch."
"That is how I deal with exam takers, and I know that is what brings me happiness. Although, if I were to fight I wouldn’t lose to anyone."

I love how almost all the reactors including the Frieren Fandom thinks about throwing a mimic to beat the Fake Frieren and I vibe with it lol
When I watched this episode, I also thought the same thing
Fern: "My loot-goblin-little-sister-girlfriend-grandma"
@Raven-zz4zt "Who's not related, to me by blood☺️"
"and is also my mother figure"@@4Re_

Fern saying she can kill frieren out of context is funny as shit
"Nah, I'd win" - Fern
And Frieren is so proud of that, like "Yeah you can, I taught you well."
12:02 she understood why Himmel always insisted on discovering every single corner of a dungeon
23:26 I mean, they do not have the same level of information the others have. It's not like they have a big council of information exchange between scenes, they've been trapped there.
To be fair no one really knows what’s going on in their head.
probably just like computer running a preprogramed command
22:52 we just learned the clones don´t have minds, they don´t think at all

I think that scene with Fern pulling Frieren away may be my favorite scene so far. It's just adorable, and it is absolutely pure Fern.
Fern: This is my autistic elf girl, get your own.
Methode: Okay.
Denken: Ayo why is there a boss health bar here?
Frieren Doppleganger appears.
23:10 to be fair, they haven't spoken to any of the test takers...
it's one clue WE have, but not them.
Frieren is a pre-4th ed DND elf, with all that hidden door detection going on.
I had the same thought as you, but instead of a Mimic, I figured they could just rig a bomb inside of a chest and throw it into the room with Fieren's double.
Sense: I´m a pacifist
also Sense: goes inside the dungeon knowing an exact clone of her is going to try to kill everyone including her
They throw the chest they think is a mimic into the chamber, but in the end that chest turns out to be the 1% failure rate and it actually contains a legendary grimoire and the the clone becomes that much more powerful.
Lol, both Frieren and her clone will fall for the mimic trap.

Ewig the Sage was name dropped back at the start of the season one might recall.
fun fact the secret passage was a anime exclusive
Wirbel's fight too. Both scenes are original from the Anime.
Wirble had the fight off screen in the manga, there is no mention of mural. Different catagory.
Remember Frieren said that Fern casts faster than her
Sense only seems to be a pacifist in regards to people fighting other people, fighting monsters and such is all good
To beat Friren’s clone all you would need with a mimic or some heirloom of Himmel
Biggest problem with trying to use a mimic on copy Frieren is that Frieren already cleared the rest of the dungeon and you know she found every mimic so there's none left to even try that strategy with.
13:30 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Mimic Chest 💯
10:40 (and also the beginning of the video): a lot of reactors I have watched for this episode have experienced some level of PTSD from Solo Leveling.

Anyone else who has watched amphibia, I'ma need some discussion on this
