Something else about the slowed aging: if you remember a while back they fought the aliens that came from another dimension where time was faster. Every day they came back was between a few years to a decade in their time. Omniman spent the better part of the afternoon there with little change in his appearance.
And just imagine it from the aliens view. For us he was gone for an afternoon. They aged to death in minutes on earth. Minutes were a life time for the aliens. Omni man was there for hours. The man tormented them for generations. He was an immortal God to them with no other purpose than to wipe them out.
I will never forget the way that "You dad" struck me when I read it for the first time, never had I thought a comic could make me react that way and I fell in love with the medium. So it is such a treat watching people react to it now.
That story you told about your mother, that's rough and I'm so sorry that's a thing. Thank you for sharing something so personal. I've been in a similar situation where people around me were trying to stay strong for me during a really bad health time and yeah, the not knowing what to do sucks. I of course am not in your life, and don't know your family but I found that at least for me, what felt the best was just to in clear words let them know their being there is appreciated and that they are loved. We all had a good hug and cry.
In the first episode reaction you mentioned you thought Omni man would be like Goku, truth is he's Vegeta. He came here with the intent to conquer, but his time on earth has changed him. However, he's still in denial that it has, but like you see in the end he's coming to terms with that he's changed.
I see parallels between this episode and Majin Vegeta’s rampage. Although in Vegeta’s defense, he didn’t kill anywhere close to as many people. But still, definitely similarities
@@alexanderren1097 i dont remember dbz too clearly but he could have honestly, they just magicked a lot of people back with shenron wishes whenever the collateral damage got too bad iirc
@@alexanderren1097 True but a young ruthless Vegeta is different and definitely killed way more, Vegeta and his father literally blew up multiple planets with a wave of hand and kept doing it for who knows how long, they don't even take the planet, they destroy it completely with a single attack which is nuts and they took pleasure in doing it, once again Saiyans can prove to be evil.
@@Furina-742 Yes. Though I was specifically referring to the number Majin Vegeta killed in the bleachers at that tournament which was “only” a couple hundred compared to Nolan killing thousands in Chicago. You’re right about Vegeta’s total body count prior to Bulma “domesticating” him was definitely pretty high. Though considering that Nolan’s lived thousands of years so he’s helped conquer or destroy who knows how many planets prior to being assigned to Earth, they probably have similar total body counts off world
notice when omni man dose leave the planet, you see his tears hit the camera...what mark says to him did actually get to him...cuase mark is the one thing he dose genuinely cares about...but hes torn between the life he built here with mark...and to his people
@@rootfish2671 I think Wiz from Death Battle said it best: "He may have tried to turn Mark into a Viltrumite, but in reality, as Nolan fled Earth with tears in his eyes, Mark made his father...human."
This is when I was reminded that the voice actor is J.K. Simmons who did the best roles for J.J.J in Spiderman and Fletcher from Whiplash, what an amazing performance
Thats the thing he is just as emotionally vulnerable as the rest of humanity but its that connection to being half human and knowing what its like to be human that makes a great hero great
Omniman at this point is both a morally evil person and a good father (by Viltrumite standards). He knew Mark is going to resist the empire, which he would not likely to survive, so he tries to talk it out. Unfortunately he soon regresses to the most basic instincts of Viltrumites - violence, to achieve his goal of getting the point across. The most heart breaking thing is, you can see he obviously loves his son (an emotional you can see he struggles to process), but uses morally bankrupt methods to desperately force him to join the empire, traumatizing Mark in the process.
Anyone who is around tough parents know how soul crushing is to see them crumble, specially when they are hiding it. Debbie's bedroom scene hits harder than everything else for me, I'm sure it's an emotion we all can relate, but to some is like driving a knife in a scar we might think was healed but won't ever truly be. Found you reacting to Edgerunners, and I really wish you can pull through all this, you have the guts and energy to do so, even if your body might be telling otherwise, your mind can overcome it.
Amber isn't a villain, she's just...horribly written. She was interested in Mark when she saw Eve and him because she was jealous. And she only came back to Mark after putting him through the unfair wringer. Because he was hurt.
Exactly like those 'based on real events' movies where the person who was the main subject's pillar of support is instead the devil on their shoulder, telling them they're worthless. In their attempt to make Amber more likeable, Amazon only made her something to despise, a narcissist cloaked in virtue and 'good deeds'.
Yeah amber is terrible in the animation. Feels like like maybe a showrunner's shitty self insert or something, should have just kept her personality\writing comic accurate.
As a comic reader, this is only going to get more heartbreaking, but it will also have its fair share of heartwarming moments. Ps: I'm praying you get better.❤️
6:46 Bra you really called the “You Dad” scene before it happened! I will say you are one of the best reactors. You pick up on stuff and talk about it way more than other reactors. Liked and Subbed!
With Amber Mark lied to her for a few months at most and for understandable reasons. Mark was basically lied to his whole life about how his dad wasen't such a good dude after all. So its a bit sussy to say the least.
Let's also not gloss over the fact that Amber basically gaslit Mark for the bulk of their relationship, treated him like crap in spite of her knowing that Mark is Invincible, and then also tried to cheat on Mark with a random dude she bumped into on campus. The fact that they tried comparing the two, without acknowledging Amber's behavior, is honestly the weakest part of this season.
its very subtle so its pretty hard to catch nolans tears after he flew away but in the actual comic panel we have a full front view of him crying while flying away
6:38 Do you know how many times my jaw dropped while you were saying theories in early episodes but I couldn’t say anything because this episode is so good. Mark didn’t want the smoke 😂 18:41 the first time I watched this I was screaming no at my tv too😢
it's interesting to note that based on what we saw of the fights in the last episode and then this one, The Immortal was REALLY fucking strong, he did way more damage to Nolan than Mark did, but also Mark is WAY more durable, the Immortal would have been pulped, penetrated, or ripped in half by some of the stuff that hit Mark.
When I read it on the page I wasn't ready. When I watched it when the show when it came out years later I was even MORE unprepared. Noone saw that sledgehammer of a line coming from Mark. Damn.
One of those call backs that’s lesser noticed is always the pizza, how after the death of the guardians the first thing omni man did was ask if they wanted pizza, and how after all this after that whole flashback of “i wana be just like you” mark asks if she wants a pizza
I like how they brought back the insensitivity of Nolan and Mark, in one of the episodes with the funeral of the Guardians after the funeral Nolan was all chill and wanted to order pizza and stuff. The same thing happened this episode to Mark. I never noticed that before.
As someone who lost someone dear to him to cancer not that long ago, hearing you talk about your mother's struggle and your family's pain hits close to home. I'm sorry to hear about it; this is one of the first videos of yours I've seen, and I'm normally not the V-Tuber type, but what started as me watching someone react to one of my favorite episodes in one of the best shows in adult animation turned into a very personal experience. I know it's painful to see, but those tears do bring relaxation with them. As much as it hurts, there's relief in the release. And when those tears are spent, and their ready to face other people again, the best thing you can do is offer them your company, your compassion, and your love. Those things can mean more to someone than any platitudes ever will, and those who you give it to will be thankful for everything you can give. Sorry, this is just a stranger on the internet getting sappy due to shared pain, but I hope those words help, even a little. It's been nearly a month since this upload, so who knows where you are now on the emotional scale, but I hope it's better than it was here. The best thing we can do as people is support one another in any way we can.
28:17 throughout the whole episode Nolan was trying to convince himself that this is for best possible outcome for the planet (which to him it was) and then it dawns on him that he's killing his little boy and it broke him now he has to leave the galaxy and think about what he stands for
Just for your knowledge for power scaling in this universe. While Nolan whooped marks ass, Battle beast is conanically stronger than him, that was one of the reason he didn't fight battle beast. Both of them at peak condition would be a blood bath but battle beast can come out on top most of the time.
5:33 I legit cracked up XD "You love me! You love mom! I know you do!" ....NOLAN LOOKS AWAY lol so emotional. Great reaction Alicia. I feel for you so much that your parent have wept in silence and you knew as it happened :( I wish you the best and will pray for you and the family.
To your subject about what to do about your parents crying alone, to me the best option is to let them do it. My dad was diagnosed with cancer a few years ago and sometimes i cry my eyes out when i think too much. I make sure to do it away from him because I dont want him to think im losing hope, its more of knowing he is in pain, restriction, and seeing him go through that hurts me so much. I do fear losing him but i will never give up on him. Stay strong Alicia and Fuck Cancer
In the end Mark's will proved Invincible, and Nolan could no longer lie to himself about how much he truly loved his family and the life he threw away.
While Mark may not be physically invincible, his spirit and will are. After everything he went through, he was still trying to save as many as he could and still held out hope for his dad, still loved him. And in the end, he bounced back as fast as he could to protect people once again. He lives up to his name, just not in the way most would think.

You are funny, and insightful, and caring. You make it very easy to binge your content. Thank you for sharing your experiences with us all, I wish you and your family all the best in the days to come.
The things they did on this comic, and now the animated episode, the themes that all clashed when the time came for all this drama to explode like that is just so impactful, so shocking, it's not like many other properties that try too hard to be shocking but it lands flat because it's just like that without substance Invincible really built-up al lot just to destroy it, and have it mean something big, not just some Avengers shit where people may have died off-camera but that's never acknowledged, nor the reactions from people to the insecurity of these types of threats coming out of nowhere This episode does something so unique in showing the full ugliness of what an evil superhero is capable of, if they're to just decide to kill, and not only that but giving it reasons to hold back, a conflict, the tension that he's still way stronger but can't fully commit, the horrible place Mark is stuck in not strong enough to beat his father but strong enough to endup killing just by being more durable than everything around him Just everything is so dark but the right kinda dark, this went dark in a way that really leaves you thinking, dark in a way that's memorable way after the initial shock of what happens wears off
Invincible and Starman are my favorite comic book series in my 50 years of reading comics. This animated version of Invincible is the best comic to television series I've seen but the comic is even better. Check it out when you can. Also, as a son that lost both his parents to the real villain of this world cancer. I relate to your parents private moments of worry and love of you. I was the one finding little times for stress relief when things felt overwhelming. God bless you and your family during this and know that you are in peoples prayers.
Wow thank you for sharing that. This comment means a lot to me. As for reading it I know I invincible is getting a season 2 so I’m going to wait for that :) I usually choose to either read or watch the show but not usually both. Unless I finish the show sometimes I’ll go back and read it that way I can enjoy being plot twisted and then get more details when I read after.
Ok so this came before I could give the fun facts about last episode, but here we go! This marks the end of the first arc of the invincible comics, the first 12 issues. Out of 144 issues so we’re in for a wild ride! XD In the comics Debbie had no idea or inkling of Nolan’s motives, she was just as much in the dark as mark was. So she was even MORE devastated then here. When Cecil gives the offer to be his father’s replacement in the comics he actually accepts immediately, but it makes sense in the show. Most of the dialogue here is actually word for word from the comic book. Which kind of shows how well written it is. Also when we see the viltrumites in Nolan’s flashback in front of the massive pile of bodies? All of those are characters, and when I saw one in particular, I GASPED and went, ‘OH GOD YOU!!!!!’ Also one thing to clear up because some people might be confused. When viltrumites conquer a planet, they don’t wipe out the population and keep the string, that’s their own race, they instead make them subservient to them. Similar to the Roman Empire.
Ok I have not read the comics but a very few spoilers got me, so may I ask Mark the answer as spoiler so the one that want no spoilers can go with no problems. You mean the king of Viltrum or the qoman that rapes Mark?
In the first episode when omniman fought the guardians, he very nearly lost to them and he knew in a fair fight they could have taken him. Which is why he surprised them and killed red rush so fast. It broke the cohesion and teamwork they had, weakening them. When he's not doing the hero act, he fights DIRTY.
Spoiler from comic: When the fight is revisited by time traveling Mark, they put him down. The Guardians could have beaten him, and a post-zenkai Allen obliterated him in four blows.
Nolan can't go back to Viltrum because what he did is essentially desertion. He would've been executed, so instead he is in hiding\exile. I think writers want us to like Amber, but really it doesn't make any sense for them to get back together as if nothing happened. Low key looks like she is gaslighting Mark again. In the comics the zombie cyborg things were not yet ready when Mark fought Nolan and they also were a lot weaker, when Mark had falling out with Cecyl, he just tore through them. So it made more sense to have dozens and dozens of them.
>we haven't earned it yet! >No but the future is not waiting for us to do that, we need to move on and become the heroes the world needs right now. Or there might not even be a tomorrow. Is the message i got out of cleaning the wall. And its moment like that that makes this such a great sow, because its a show not afraid to ask some hard hitting questions and trow tough life facts in you face. Just like Monster Girls powers, and the "whatst 17 years" followed by the memory.
49:47 You are doing great. As someone who has also gone through treatment for Cancer several years ago I completely understand what you mean by that. Whenever I got treatment, I literally felt like I wanted to be in a coma for a few days. Heck, I spent most of the next few days asleep. Surprisingly, I continued to go to the office throughout it all (with a Mask of course and luckily this was right before COVID). Everyone thought I was nuts. Anyways, I pray that everything goes well for you. Just discovered you today and really liked your reaction to Invincible. It’s one hell of a ride and hopefully we get a Season 2 soon.

Hi Alicia. Hope you are doing better and continue to do so. you make laugh with your joke and amazed how you analyze the show you watch. I just found your channel last month. Wishing you to recover completly and continue this channel or anything you love. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
im finally caught up, some interesting details: Omni-man is speculated to be at least 2,000 years old. A fan theory is that he was planning to simply wait for mark and debbie to pass away THEN start his planet conquering, but since marks powers kicked in, hes gonna live a long ass time too. So he had to get on with his mission. As many people in the comments pointed out, alot of what nolan said was more to himself than mark, he was trying to convince himself more than anything that this was the only path forward, its why he got so brutal and got mad when mark made good points...cause he didn't want to be the one in the wrong. the jets scene: "is he gonna throw mark at them and kill them with marks body?" Me: "no hes gonna take him to subway first" imsorry
This reveal is done so much better here than it was in the comics. There Nolan kills the Guardians and a few issues later his backstory is revealed with no buildup or mystery But here they put this event at episode 1 and made us *wait* to make this reveal so much more gutwrenching and suspensfull
This show is great. Omni man voice acting and dialogue is so good in this episode. Love how it's kinda how super powered being fights would go down. And mark not getting some anime power up and getting owned makes it better tbh. Having like the whole video here is good too
I knew that there was something up but i never knew that you were battling cancer. I know how that can take a toll on someone. My mother suffered with it too. Stay strong alicia x
This might be the absolute best reaction to anything I've ever seen. Had a blast watching all of your reaction through Invincible it's been a thrill great channel.
The whole thing of Amber feeling "off" isn't because she's a villain or anything, it's just that the way she's acting doesn't come off as natural, and that's due to some poor writing. After the way she treated him last episode, it feels kinda shitty that she flipped on a dime like this, and the line "guess I wasn't the only one being lied to" feels particularly scummy, as if their situations are in any way comparable. She was right to feel mad about him keeping his secret identity secret from her, but just like any other superhero his reasoning was understandable and justified, as knowing he's Invincible puts her at risk. She didn't have the right to pretend like she didn't know he was Invincible, then get angry at him for "running away" when the cyborgs attacked, when she KNEW that he was actually Invincible and literally saved people right in front of her. The way she was written made her come across as petty and ignorant, and then she just flipped in an instant because he almost died, and then acted like his whole life being a lie was somehow comparable to Mark keeping his superhero identity secret from her. I have seen some people try to defend Amber by saying, "But he kept it from her for 5 months! If he really loved her..." and to that I say: They're literally highschoolers, 5 months is not that long to justify trusting someone with a secret that can affect her entire life, especially when it's a teenage relationship. It's not like they're married. But yeah, this is why most people kinda don't like Amber now.
Very few people I see handle this as well as you do here. Yes, it was wrong of Mark to keep his secret identity from Amber for so long, and make it seem like he was just breaking promises to her. It's a shitty thing to do, and he could have handled it better, even if it meant breaking up with her to not string her along. HOWEVER, this does not excuse Amber's actions in ANY regard. Knowing full well that your partner is a superhero before they confess, and holding them literally putting their life on the line to save other people's against them spending time with you is petty shit. ESPECIALLY when one of those lives he previously saved is yours. On top of ALL that, running back to the man you just gave a royal dressing down to, one the same day he comes back after getting the beating of his life in multiple ways, is emotionally manipulative bullshit. I don't know how the writers thought audiences would react to her characterization, but suffice to say I do not think it went as planned.
Amber being a villain would make her condemning Mark for "running away" despite her apparently knowing he was a superhero and even if she didn't know he was Invincible did not amend her previous statements to something along the lines of "Oh, you actually literally saved our lives right in front of me. Sorry about that, but you're still an asshole for behaving like you did".
Another thing that happens is that after this battle, Powerplex and Angstrom Levy are 2 villains convinced that Mark is the villain because they lost loved ones in the destruction of the city.... Levy even tries to kill his mom which causes Mark to lose it and beat him to near death... which haunts Mark for a few days...
Allen the Alien will return. In the comics Marks talk with Allen on the moon was an entire recap of the first 12 issue story arc. And yes Allen is very cool and very strong.
so, episode 1: Nolan trains Mark Episode 8: Nolan 'trains' Mark. yes, i am terrible. though, i will say something about viltrumites I know about. The comparison to Saiyans is...a bit closer than you think, cause Viltrumites technically have their own form of zenkai boost. And in the end, Nolan tried to make Mark a Viltrumite, but in the end, Mark ended up reminding Nolan that he had become, human. Rudy, as GotG leader, saw something very, very important to the needs of the team. How to be able to handle if one of them goes rogue. If any member of the team turns on the others. One of the end scenes showed if Monster Girl did.
Legitimately one of the most incredible and well written finales to a season of any show. Insanely dark and brutal without pulling punches. Then the writing is on another level. Nolan's entire argument of "Might over right" which caused all that carnage, all that hot air he blew, his entire mindset and way of thinking completely done in by a few simple words "I'd still have you". I'm pretty sure I had to just walk away after Mark said that, that shit broke me.
Apart from Mark not knowing what to do when his mother was crying, I genuinely never got that treatment. It was always me being strong & at some point, I became vulnerable around people I thought were close to me… Point is, it sucks being in situations like these, but all you gotta do is try to be better for whoever it is that is in need. No matter what happens.
He was lying when he said he doesn't care. He cared a lot, his rampage was an attempt to convince himself as much as mark.
You go into it thinking it's a physical fight, but really it's a fight between the human way of viewing things vs the viltrumite way.
Humanity won.
You know he flew off and cried in the a space mirror like a woman. He was scared to death of how Mark would see him “see” and when he “saw” him Nolan nearly had a nervous breakdown and started killing people and beating Mark in an effort to get Mark to hate him while simultaneously convincing himself he didn’t love Mark, didn’t need Mark and that he hated Mark. All that BS came to an abrupt end when Mark said “I’ll still have you.” He never been hit so hard in his life he actually started to cry. Also betrays his own race for that earthussy
Though considering that Nolan’s lived thousands of years so he’s helped conquer or destroy who knows how many planets prior to being assigned to Earth, they probably have similar total body counts off world
notice when omni man dose leave the planet, you see his tears hit the camera...what mark says to him did actually get to him...cuase mark is the one thing he dose genuinely cares about...but hes torn between the life he built here with mark...and to his people
Omni Man went native and ended up caring for his earth family
@@rootfish2671 I think Wiz from Death Battle said it best: "He may have tried to turn Mark into a Viltrumite, but in reality, as Nolan fled Earth with tears in his eyes, Mark made his father...human."
This is when I was reminded that the voice actor is J.K. Simmons who did the best roles for J.J.J in Spiderman and Fletcher from Whiplash, what an amazing performance
You are literally the most insightful reactor out of everyone I've seen who is watching this, huge props to you, love the reactions givin' throughout.

Mark may not be physically invincible but he is emotionally and mentally invincible and that's what makes a true hero.
Thats the thing he is just as emotionally vulnerable as the rest of humanity but its that connection to being half human and knowing what its like to be human that makes a great hero great
@@smileyshy3d with all that mark has gone throw his mental fortitude is unbreakable
He's uses the classic abuser line: "Look at what you made me do!" As in "You make me hit you!"
Nolan really knows how to keep his son on the right tracks. He trains him pretty hard
This joke will never get old lol
@@Phyrior Narcissist is a very strong word.

@@tariqthomas9090 no, no, normal teenagers aren't to her point

Yeah amber is terrible in the animation. Feels like like maybe a showrunner's shitty self insert or something, should have just kept her personality\writing comic accurate.
I gotta say, Steven Yeun is a great voice actor. The perfect choice for the role.
"What's Invincible about?"
"Omniman trains his son."
Accurate
12:44 "Didn't think I was gonna make it."
Nolan: "That's the neat thing: you don't."
As a comic reader, this is only going to get more heartbreaking, but it will also have its fair share of heartwarming moments.

Liked and Subbed!
You will get through this, Alicia, i know you will, cheers, we're here for you, you're a great person
Mark didn’t want the smoke 😂
18:41 the first time I watched this I was screaming no at my tv too😢
it's interesting to note that based on what we saw of the fights in the last episode and then this one, The Immortal was REALLY fucking strong, he did way more damage to Nolan than Mark did, but also Mark is WAY more durable, the Immortal would have been pulped, penetrated, or ripped in half by some of the stuff that hit Mark.
Yeah it seems that he hits nearly as hard as a viltrumite but with just enough durability that his own attacks don't break him
19:52 "Now get me more pictures of spiderman!" i literally fell out of my chair laughing lmao
Came from genshin reaction stayed for the anime reaction . You're so entertaining to watch I hope you get well soon
:D that means a lot to me!
The prediction on the "you, dad" dialogue OH MY GOD
"Looks like I wasn't the only one being lied to" this line specifically is also horrible
5:33 I legit cracked up XD
"You love me! You love mom! I know you do!"
....NOLAN LOOKS AWAY
lol so emotional.
"Wait, I was half-kidding...", "That is too heavy..."
But wait, there is more!
This episode is the prime example that Invincible is not a deconstruction or subversion of the Superhero genre but a reconstruction.
you know a show is gold if it can make you cry from the depth of your soul
In the end Mark's will proved Invincible, and Nolan could no longer lie to himself about how much he truly loved his family and the life he threw away.
While Mark may not be physically invincible, his spirit and will are. After everything he went through, he was still trying to save as many as he could and still held out hope for his dad, still loved him. And in the end, he bounced back as fast as he could to protect people once again. He lives up to his name, just not in the way most would think.
The chinese guy in the end montage is the dragon that was briefly mentioned that Omni-man was fighting in Hong Kong.
Episode 1: Omni Man trains his son.
Episode 8: Omni Man trains his son.
gotta love it when a show stays consistent.
It is incredible how many plot points and character motivations you inferred correctly, with very little info to go on. Well done. you have a keen sense of empathy, and a great imagination. You are funny, and insightful, and caring. You make it very easy to binge your content. Thank you for sharing your experiences with us all, I wish you and your family all the best in the days to come.
The things they did on this comic, and now the animated episode, the themes that all clashed when the time came for all this drama to explode like that is just so impactful, so shocking, it's not like many other properties that try too hard to be shocking but it lands flat because it's just like that without substance
Invincible really built-up al lot just to destroy it, and have it mean something big, not just some Avengers shit where people may have died off-camera but that's never acknowledged, nor the reactions from people to the insecurity of these types of threats coming out of nowhere
This episode does something so unique in showing the full ugliness of what an evil superhero is capable of, if they're to just decide to kill, and not only that but giving it reasons to hold back, a conflict, the tension that he's still way stronger but can't fully commit, the horrible place Mark is stuck in not strong enough to beat his father but strong enough to endup killing just by being more durable than everything around him
Just everything is so dark but the right kinda dark, this went dark in a way that really leaves you thinking, dark in a way that's memorable way after the initial shock of what happens wears off
Mark hit his dad in the one place he could hurt him... right in the feels.
It’s crazy how intuitive you are with the future plot at times where I had literally no clue my first watch. Got a good brain on them shoulders!
The battle beast lion guy is definitely someone to keep your eye on since hes arguably the strongest character in the entire series
"Is he gonna use Mark to destroy the planes!?"
Me: "not on planes, but give it a minute."
Omniman reminds me of Darth Vader. Stuck between a rock and a hard place, forced to destroy his son. Like the emperor ordering Anakin to kill Luke.
Ok so this came before I could give the fun facts about last episode, but here we go!
This marks the end of the first arc of the invincible comics, the first 12 issues. Out of 144 issues so we’re in for a wild ride! XD
In the comics Debbie had no idea or inkling of Nolan’s motives, she was just as much in the dark as mark was.
All of those are characters, and when I saw one in particular, I GASPED and went, ‘OH GOD YOU!!!!!’
Also one thing to clear up because some people might be confused. When viltrumites conquer a planet, they don’t wipe out the population and keep the string, that’s their own race, they instead make them subservient to them. Similar to the Roman Empire.
Ok I have not read the comics but a very few spoilers got me, so may I ask
Mark the answer as spoiler so the one that want no spoilers can go with no problems.
You mean the king of Viltrum or the qoman that rapes Mark?
@@AugustoEL I mean that’s one thing but It’s not even the most shocking thing.
Spoiler from comic:
When the fight is revisited by time traveling Mark, they put him down.
“You Dad, I still have you.”
Episode 1: Nolan plays catch with Mark
Episode 8: Nolan plays catch *with* Mark
>we haven't earned it yet!
Reading this meant a lot to me. I’m going through a new treatment plan this Monday my surgeon is telling me about it and I honestly just needed to read a comment like this today. So thank you for that and thank you for sharing. Welcome to my channel and community happy to have you here ❤
remember when Mark told the Martians he was a Viltrumite and they immediately attacked him
As many people in the comments pointed out, alot of what nolan said was more to himself than mark, he was trying to convince himself more than anything that this was the only path forward, its why he got so brutal and got mad when mark made good points...cause he didn't want to be the one in the wrong.
the jets scene: "is he gonna throw mark at them and kill them with marks body?"
Me: "no hes gonna take him to subway first"
imsorry
Oh, pleasant surprise since I thought we would get this video in a week😊
Viltumites also get stronger the older they get. Mark never stood a chance against him.
This reveal is done so much better here than it was in the comics. There Nolan kills the Guardians and a few issues later his backstory is revealed with no buildup or mystery
But here they put this event at episode 1 and made us *wait* to make this reveal so much more gutwrenching and suspensfull
This show is great. Omni man voice acting and dialogue is so good in this episode. Love how it's kinda how super powered being fights would go down. And mark not getting some anime power up and getting owned makes it better tbh.
Having like the whole video here is good too

Omni man actually almost had Mark Convinced till he pulled the pet line.
I knew that there was something up but i never knew that you were battling cancer. I know how that can take a toll on someone. My mother suffered with it too. Stay strong alicia x
nothing wrong with a bit of dark humor when in the abyss.

This might be the absolute best reaction to anything I've ever seen. Had a blast watching all of your reaction through Invincible it's been a thrill great channel.
:D thank you!! Welcome to the channel I can’t wait for season 2!!
PREACH!
Mark should have rejected her kiss and not gotten back with her
Very few people I see handle this as well as you do here.
It sound like Nolan tries to convince himself than Mark, He do love his family but then again he was born and raised in Viltrum.
That part still bothers me about her. If she didn’t know I’d be fine with it but her knowing makes that whole scene SOOOO TOXIC
Best of wishes of health to you this reaction was incredible. esieacply when you predicted what Mark was gonna say.
Allen the Alien will return. In the comics Marks talk with Allen on the moon was an entire recap of the first 12 issue story arc. And yes Allen is very cool and very strong.
Omni Man really got that Black Air Force energy.
Jet flying around them "Is he going to throw mark at them and kill them with his own body?"
Uuuuuuh hahaha, no he wouldn't do that... to these people.
so, episode 1: Nolan trains Mark
Episode 8: Nolan 'trains' Mark.
yes, i am terrible.
though, i will say something about viltrumites I know about.
Marc's suffering is only just begun
the universe has it against this poor kid
you'll see
Best reactor on TH-cam. You're so smart and intuitive of what happens in the show and funny and empathetic to boot.
At least the undead cyborgs you see at the end are not kidnapped people, but dead soldiers who donated their body willingly
This entire episode

sorry to hear about the cancer i know u are going to get through this, stay strong
Remember when Nolan brought up Mark's dead Grandparents? YEAH.
Apart from Mark not knowing what to do when his mother was crying, I genuinely never got that treatment. It was always me being strong & at some point, I became vulnerable around people I thought were close to me…
Point is, it sucks being in situations like these, but all you gotta do is try to be better for whoever it is that is in need. No matter what happens.
i think im a fucking monster, where people are shocked and even my dad was crying about this, i was sitting there laughing constantly
Alicia is so cute and innocent that whenever she like gets upset it actually hurts to see her cry and tear up
