    An excellent in depth review, ER.
    A superb machine at a fantastic price. Honda have done it yet again and I can see it selling by the shed load.
    Such a pity it's a tad too small for taller riders.

      Thanks for the coffee jim...I should be buying you one after the class camera work!

    Hiya ER , Excellent review well done mate. I do believe this is possibly the best review you have done in a long while, it's apparent you like this bike and for all the right reasons, this one reminded me of your NC750 reviews which were also great. Thanks for your time and effort it is appreciated.

    • @exeterrider

      Thanks Paul. Yes it's a really good bike. I think the Transalp would be more my thing.... I wonder if it would tempt me to sell the NC.?! Have a good week 👍🍻

    Love the New look video format ER,especially the follow me footage. (MCN will be after your services) Like your good self I’m an owner of a NC 750x dct & looking to change so I’m wondering if it’s possible review the Hornets sister bike the Transalp. This bike to me is very tempting to a six footer like me & a natural step from the NC. I luv the dct & would only move to a manual bike with quickshifter/blipper.
    Hope you can make it happen Bud.

    • @exeterrider
      @exeterrider  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Fingers crossed! At the time of booking the Transalp wasn't available but yes I must admit it would be right up my street I think.
      Transition to the Alp form the NC makes very good sense to me for sure. The quickshift makes all the difference.

  • @paullee6663
    @paullee6663 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Wow! You hired a camera crew! 😉 Best review I've seen to be honest. I confess I'm not a fan of the 'front end' but watching your video it doesn't look so bad with the lights on 'on the road'. The grey / silver is the best colour to my eyes although, why they would put red bar ends in the 'pack' is beyond me. I think I'd just add the quickshifter. I'd probably want to add a Puig screen later (for the kind of riding I do) as at first glance that looks the best one. I need to try one for size. The size of the tank is a PITA to be honest, although you'll probably need to stop often because of the PITA 🤣 You never mentioned the short front mudguard or the lack of a rear hugger, maybe if it had been raining instead of glorious sunshine it may have been more 'apparent'. 🙂 What do you make of the 'on/off' throttle at low rpm some have mentioned? (Apparently not as intrusive on the Transalp?)

    • @exeterrider
      @exeterrider  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, Yes I did mention it but somehow I must have cut it out the main cut (happens a lot) each walkround is an hour long so a lot is cut out.
      Yes I mentioned the on/off throttle in the traffic riding segment...Its definately on/off but its not a deal breaker and almost becomes normal after riding it a few times.
      I would really like to try the Alp : )

      @@exeterrider I find it hard to stop editing, often thinking up ideas I can add to the video, little overlays, animation or clips. Typically a video recorded in a day as a catch up gets more views that a video that's been sitting on the timeline for a couple of weeks.
      I also have no idea what video is going to get views or what will get left on the shelf like some dried up husk of an old spinster of this parish hereabouts 🙄🤔

    • @exeterrider

      😂That's the fun of the creative side.
      A bit like fishing, like my parking vid I thought was a bit boring and put the shields up, but it flew in the end.... Other vids I've nearly binned I put out and again it flies, I still think those vids are crap but still get views, just keep throwing it all at the wall is my moto now 🍻

    You've certainly put some work into this review. Looks an ideal sized bike for you, probably less so for a huge guy like me. Narrowed down seats are literally a pain in the backside on longer rides but I see why Honda do it, especially if they want to attract newer riders who want to easily get their feet down.
    Looked weird seeing the front indicators sort of flashing but I guess that's the camera frame rate
    Personally I prefer the looks of this compared to the new Suzuki GSX-S8 but being older I'm more attracted to retro styled machines

    Blimey ER, these videos are getting more professional every time. Lots of time and effort gone into this one and it shows, nice bike the hornet, I like you ride a NC750x dct but I’m getting bored not changing gears, this with a QS sounds a good idea. Thanks for the vid 👍
