Great stuff from Sonnax and Transgo. #7 case check all in the case. Sonnax do a valve kit with an additional kit for the 3rd feed from the 2/4 servo. The forward/reverse abuse plugs wear badly in the valve body. The Sonnax wide bush in the rear planet gear is a great upgrade as is the Sonnax Smart Shell. The PWM system is an area for improvement with the TCC control. Stops GM’s EC3 system to stop the converter continual slip. Scotch Brite green! Cascade Pale Ale for the win!

Hey mate
I’ve got a 2008 be omega and it has about a 2 second delay going into drive , if I don’t slow it jump and accelerate it will jolt or jump if I hold the brake until it’s properly selected it’s fine
Any idea on what I might be dealing with here
All other gears seem fine and smooth car has 172000kms

hi, check all the basics first. good practice to do a regular transmission filter service, add magnets and fit a bypass cooler. make sure you also flush switch plate as in our other 4L60e vids. cheers

I had a 4l60e that only had reverse and 2nd gear. I changed the VSS and it fixed it like new. Is that uncommon?

Love your videos. I’ve learned so much from you, which would amount to not much compared to what swims around in your head.
Odd transmission noise on a 5L60e(?) in an VZ Adventra V6.
Particular revs and seems to happen only after reverse has been engaged.
The noise and conditions are recorded at @2:10 of this video.
