History
Type VII U-boats were the most common type of German World War II U-boat. 703 boats were built by the end of the war. The lone surviving example, U-995, is on display at the Laboe Naval Memorial located in Laboe, Schleswig-Holstein, Germany.

This RC is amazing. The paint job on it is fantastic! Also the speed, diving capabilities, and navigating are all also amazing. The builder of this RC sub did a fantastic job.

Back in the 80s, there used to be a company called "32nd Parallel" that made a hull/kit for this type U boat. Yours is a beautiful model, congrats.

How far away from you can she go submerged without losing radio contact? Love the diving.
i think judging by the video he took it quite far out, but i think he didnt want to push it to far. There is a fail safe on the sub.

The type VII had a wooden deck and not steel so why so much poorly applied rust everywhere? Little is more as the saying goes. If your going to build a model then do it properly

he paints it a special way then leaves the rust to form naturally. i think he leaves the model outside in the rain for a number of weeks.
