Shellfish is a great bait expecially for tipping worms with :)

I like to carry a Leatherman tool with me when beach combing to cut through ghost nets and dump them behond the highwater mark. Lots at Shoreham last summer 😢

I think I may have to invest in a decent item to be able to cut away rope :)

During an onshore gale I've picked up razors ,limpets and black lug at night along Pevensey bay and white horses you can beat slipper limpets after a gale very underused bait.

We will sort that out for you in the coming weeks, there is a pier video already up from late January 2023 . Yes the rays are about.

    Hi,
Can razorfish be frozen for later use?
    Really like your videos.
    Barry

Hi Barry thanks for watching and commenting :)
I'm glad you like the videos
Yes 100 percent you can freeze them to use on later sessions
Just defrost them before as I haven't and when you want to use them they can be slushy and break easy if not properly defrosted which is a pain
However saying that if caught short a little bit of sea water in the bottom of a bucket whack the frozen ones in and in a couple of mins they are good to use again

Rather like the Sipper limpet debate surely those razors are going to die exposed, so does it matter how big they are ? just a legal line ?
Nice bit of rope, pity you couldn't get it, would have been useful !
You certainly made an effort, cave man hunter gather. Gotta be quick to beat the birds though !

I know mate but it's best to sick to the rules never know who is keeping tabs!
Yeah tbh I think I will carry something to cut away rope as thinking on it now the sensible thing would be to try get it as high up the beach as possible.
Birds are a nightmare thiefing 🤬🤬🤬
