I like how he balances the jokes without trying to lure the audience into laughing at the jokes just for the laughter. There’s like a great host like appeal about his comedy style it’s pretty classy. Also I think he’s cool as far as famous people go.
Agreed. I hate when comedians prompt laughter, by saying "so" or "but" and then just waiting.

Spade is and always has been hilarious. I hate it when people say Chris Farley made his career. Farley definitely helped him succeed, but Spade also helped Farley succeed. Farley needed a guy like Spade to balance things out. Fatty fall down got old when the entire movie was based around that idea. Beverly Hills Ninja is a prime example. They were a great team, no one more important than the other.
Aaron Stark they did a lot together but didnt make eachothers success so much as they enjoyed eachothers company after being in SNL,Lorne Michaels didn't produce Almost Heros so David wasn't in it,see what I mean?
Glen Nelson - They stopped working together in the late 90's because David was distancing himself from Chris who was in the throes of a deadly drug addiction. Had nothing to do with Lorne Michaels producing or not.

They were friends, I know it broke David's heart when Chris Farley passed away. Adam Sandler's song tribute made me cry. How I love those memories!

Back when i was in gradeschool i would go to the local pizza hut. The manager there would flip the free play switch on (the first) Mortal Kombat and we would spar for hours, eating personal pans etc. It was amazing.
Pizza Hut is the logical answer
As a kid I could've been on my death bed, and if someone had said "Hey, want to go to Pizza Hut?" I would jumped out of bed like I wasn't 5 seconds away from dying.

Seen him at the Mountain Winery in Northern Cal, back in 05 or 06. Dude was hilarious. Did a bit about polar bears talking a guy into jumping in their enclosure.

We had the don't get hurt policy and we even had insurance! I remember my brother getting hurt at football practice and saying "it feels like my arm's broken." My Dad: put some ice on it. A week later, no better, go to doctor and Diagnosis: Broken arm. Oh, those were the days, lol.

I mean in a weird way, to be fair, kids in general are going to be much more apt to be able to bounce back quickly from something mild than someone much older, and something that seems off the charts bad in the exact moment can mitigate within just hours. I remember when I was about 10 my friend accidentally hit me in the jaw hard with a bat we were playing with and I cried like crazy, we went to the ER, and literally while we were still in the waiting room I was begging to have food out of the vending machines. I could eat just fine. But obviously there's a certain line where you gotta be on the ball and even for a young, otherwise healthy kid, the wrong thing can wreck them long term so you see the damn doctor.
Okay, funnier than I thought at least.

Vicodins were the beginning of a 10+ year habit that grew to full blown herion and meth use and homelessness and countless horrific nights and overdoses and misery

Spade is hilarious!! I'm sad to admit that I never would've given him his stand-up/comedy props until pretty recently. Obviously he's an excellent actor in Joe Dirt, the Farley movies, etc. (should there even be an "etc." there? I imagine he _must_ have done at least some other movies or shows besides those couple examples, but I certainly don't know them...) and they're classics. But as far as his stand-up? I simply never would've even given him a shot really; and not even for any particular reason, certainly not a good or valid reason.
And so I am *_VERY_* glad for his new show and that comedy central is smart enough to upload clips like they do, as they are what really introduced me to him as an actual stand-up comedian, not just an actor. And he's hilarious!!! So I am really happy that I _finally_ am paying attention to him and am no longer missing out!
