Fantastic Video! I just shit my SECOND starter clutch on my 08' Road King Classic with 39K on it thanks to this factory HD compensator garbage and was TOWED HOME this time. No one around to help push start it and the tow truck driver wasn't interested in helping. I'll be adding the SE Comp and a new all balls starter as soon as I can get parts and this video will help much, thanks again.
Good video. I have a screamin eagle compensator ordered for my 2007 Ultra Classic. I am probably going to do the grinding thing on the inner primary. Don't want to pull it. I am going to try and find you video you spoke of. thanks again.

There is a link in the comments section. Just make sure you cover everything with tinfoil, or cardboard. The aluminum chips get all over the place.

I’ve had this issue on my soft tail for years now I’m coming up on 40k miles on it I guess I better change it before it burns up my starter 🤦🏼♂️
do i need to upgrade my stator too if i have a 2006 dyna? still unclear on this

You only need one oil deflector, the kit comes with 2 because 1 is for touring bikes and the other is for dyna/softails. You should be good.
