I also love butterflies. They fea ure in almost every page of my art journals and I am using them a lot in my bullet journal too. I have a lot of butterfly stamps, but you have made me realise I might need some more. ☺️

I know what you mean about the kraft paper being a calming tone, I really love this set up! I haven't tried a the Archer and Olive kraft paper journals because I was worried the paper would be too dark but it's really lovely, think I might have to get one now! 😁❤
I am really loving it so far!
I will watch anything you make. You are the best/most inspiring journal channel I have found. I come from the card making side of crafting and only started journaling at the beginning of 2021. For card making there is a lot of stamping involved and I use the Misti tool which allows you to keep stamping in the same exact position until you get a perfect image. I haven’t tried sticking my journal in the Misti to see if it works but maybe I will have to test that.

I used to be really into card making about 20 years ago but it’s been a very long time since I was in that world. I do really love all of the layers and textures you get with traditional scrapbooking and card making!

Love this!! I have a kraft journal I want to use as a reading journal so I appreciate this as both inspiration for that & seeing your simpler style - it’s really well done!
I also completely understand about the starkness of the pages sometimes. For work at least I use a Hobonichi, and I’ve found I prefer the way just notes/writing looks on creamier paper
I’ve never tried the Hobonichi, I’ve seen a ton of videos though. I LOVE the creamy paper of the Dingbats notebooks I just wish they had more cover options and a tad bit thicker paper. Maybe one day I’ll create my own line of creamy white bullet journals with gorgeous covers and 160gsm paper. 😂

Something you may not be aware of - and it seems likely from your comments about them - but the clear/acrylic stamps, due to the nature of the acrylic, need to have much more ink on them prior to stamping, need to be on a hard flat surface when applied, and pressed down a bit harder in order to get a clear result. I learned that through trial and error with a side bit of some research online. I don't know if that will help you, but I thought I'd let you know. Nice journal setup though.
Yeah I figured that out the more I stamped with them. I know that using this in my journal and not on a flat piece of paper is what makes them not stamp properly, I have seen people use a special mat to put under the page and I may purchase one of those but I just really like the wood stamps better. My fingernails don’t get ink on them with the wood stamps! 😂 I’ve also seen acrylic blocks with a handle that might be a good thing to invest in as well.
💡🔸 I've seen another Bullet Journaler place a separate book under the side of the journal she was working on to help support the thinner side of the journal receive stamps more evenly.

Happy you're feeling better. I love leuchtturm1917 journal bc I find the thin, cream pages that ghost feel relaxing and feel like home 🏡 😌. I want a kraft paper journal tho. Do you think colors work pretty well with the kraft paper background? I tend to be minimal in my bujo but I do highlight stuff. Brown ink is also so beautiful. 🔥. I kinda want to find a brown archival ink pen.
Thank you. I love cream colored pages but I don't like the ghosting. My first real bullet journal was a Dingbats and I LOVED it but the thin pages really bothered me as well as the limited cover options. Markers do work really well with the kraft paper, the only thing is that the colors look very different. They are much more muted and light colors tend to not show up as well. It's almost like turning the saturation way down if that makes sense.
@@TracyTylerRevell it makes sense. Thank you. I think leuttrum1917 makes a 120 GSM but archer and olive covers are so pretty 😍 tbh. Like I want one bad but ik myself enough to know that I won't like the stark white pages. But I think I will at some point treat myself to a kraft notebook.
I love the rainbow dot washi you are using to block off the stamping. Where is that from?
It’s from Erin Condren (a planner company) from a VERY long time ago. It’s lost a lot of its “stick” so I only use it for stuff like this.

Do you use each to write your ‘to-do’s in? Is each set specific to personal, work, etc?
This specific journal is just for journaling. I write my to do lists and daily schedule in my main bullet journal.
This may be a weird question, but do you think you could do a swatch video of your markers on the kraft paper?
I can't find any. Looking for Crayola Supertip and Zebra Mildliner Swatches.

Love the set up. Was interested in several of the supplies you used, but none of your links work. They either say page not found, or the take me to your Amazon affiliate page, but without any of the items you used here.
So it looks like the Archer and Olive notebook is no longer available, thanks for letting me know, I will remove that link. The other items, specifically the Amazon ones are all listed in the Stationary Items List in my Amazon page. I organized them this way so they were easier to find. As for the Stationary Pal items, you will need to search for the item. Their items are removed and relisted frequently so that's why I just have the link to the website instead of individual items. Hope that helps! Let me know if there is anything specific you are looking for and I will see if I can find it. 😁
