It’s a shame Ohio State hasn’t used their receivers properly the last 4 years. Hartline worked hard to get these guys to commit then they run the offense from the 70s. Very predictable
I am a buckeye fan and this is all I hear from people, how about we give that Michigan kicker some props. Damn dude was hitting 50 plus yarders, unbelievable kicker. Absolute stud.
I stand by that college kicking is harder than NFL kicking because the hash marks are wider. 50+ yd FGs are definitely not easy, especially in college.
@@JoshJorg44 to his defense that team didn’t need extra motivation but the flag planting locked those guys in. Shouldn’t have to be that way but the Buckeyes I talk to seem to share the same idea that they were completely embarrassed in front of the nation and they won’t let that happen again. I hope they can right their wrongs.
So who will Ryan Cooper 2.0 blame after they lose to the Vols??? My bet is Ryan Cooper 2.0 will throw Chip Kelly under the bus as well as blame more OSU players for yet ANOTHER big game loss. Of course, Ryan Cooper 2.0 won't take any responsibility in this upcoming loss to the Vols.

Chips philosophy has always been to establish run plays that, even if unsuccessful, require a defense to respect them, then runs plays that look the same but aren’t, creating big plays. Same thing with pass plays. And heaven help a defense if they allow anything to work the first time. Chip will run something that looks the same, but murder you with a variation that goes for far more yardage when you try to stop what you thought was coming again. He is always putting the defense in a reactive mode rather than attack mode. But none of this happened against Michigan. It seems like Day was too scared to trust Chip’s calls. Unbelievable! I guess 3 losses in a row to them made him desperate, so he changed things up. And lost a fourth time. Now Day MUST win the natty, or he is fired. Kelly might wind up with Day’s job, if he wants it. He might not.
I’ll say what I’ve been saying the entire season… Let the kids play ball. Cut em loose. Don’t hold back. Throw the deep ball, get the perimeter some reps, call some option plays. Great channel by the way! Appreciate your content.
They play most of these "big games" like they are trying to keep it close and hope to make a play in the 4th quarter. I think they are going for "complimentary football" as a strategy, by being balanced and having most of the passing game work as "ball control" instead of stretching the field vertically and having explosive plays. They want to eat the clock on offense and then get 3 and outs on defense, which shortens the game. But with Michigan...that was THEIR strategy too. We were shortening the game, reducing the number of offensive opportunities we were going to have, which played right into Michigan's preferred outcome. We should ALWAYS load to stop the run, dare the other team to beat our d-backs, and turn every game into "Our Pass Offense vs Your Pass Offense". I like our odds if we open up the pass, to setup some runs.
Doesn't really matter. Any monkey can coach this team to beat Purdue, Northwestern and Akron. Maybe someone can come in and actually coach these guys up, put them in positions to succeed and or come up with a reasonable gameplan. Look at what IU has done with way, way, way, way less. Yes, we still beat them but imagine his attitude, excellent coaching and game planning at OSU. I'm not say to go after him, to small of a sample size, but you get what I'm saying. Day keeps doing way, way, way less with more.
I am a big Chip Kelly fan. As an Oregon fan I think he is a genius but he has not been the same. With the weapons he has on this team, he could have basically pulled out one of his old Oregon play sheets and beat Michigan. How can it be possible that the offense doesnt go up and down the field with these weaponds?
Not only is Chip, no longer in his prime… But, I’m willing to bet anything that he wasn’t calling those plays against UM. Not only was there absolutely ZERO creativity, but the calls themselves were absolutely TEXT-BOOK Ryan Day. And, now these coaches are so broken, and lost they’re questioning themselves, with Ryan Day looking like he’s finally, after 4yrs of these results, come to terms with the fact that he’s in WAY over his head. It wouldn’t surprise me if Ryan just wants this game over with, so he can get the f-k out of Columbus. He’s not only broken, and lost as a HC, but he’s GOT to be exhausted and thoroughly demoralized from getting his teeth kicked in. It’s no longer happening in Columbus, at this point. This OSU team is so broken that the news is nationwide. I never thought I’d see a mess like this in my 45yrs of watching OSU football.
I suspect even though Ryan Cooper 2.0 says he isn't calling the plays, he has a huge influence on the play calling including perhaps giving Chip Kelly the list of plays to run e.g. run 70% of the run plays straight up the middle etc.
@ I wouldn’t believe a word of that….it matters at this point. Ryan Day get’s the last word. There’s no such thing as “overriding a HC”. And, that play calling was anything BUT Chip Kelly.

Really? We've beaten UM 4 times in a row 3 different times since 2000, would have been 4 times but Fickell had never been a head coach in 2011-2012. UM is 7-17 vs Ohio State. That means UM STILL has to win 10 more games in a row without a loss just to get to even since 2000. Day will be long gone before that happens. I hardly call that rent free.

Still celebrating that 2014 National Championship? Since we’re living in the past now Michigan is 62-52-6 all time. Get this, we didn’t even start paying players until it was legal. That game had Ryan Day written all over it THE MEDIA continues to ask about the game chip Kelly had not spoke to the media up to that point so they wanted his perspective that's all I got from it Ryan Day has to realize he's putting his career on the line with a string of bad hires most notably his best friend Justin Frye and now his program is struggling because of it he cannot recruit or develop and Ryan may be forced to let him go he cannot coach on this level

@@EnzoMoresi-mj8bc Enzo I appreciate the kind words. I’m not sure what Michigan has on Day but they’re either in his head or he had money riding on it lol
I personally don't think you're "over-thinking" this issue. You are 100% on point with your comments and the powers-that-be in the coaching staff should have been thinking that way from the first game of the season. I was surprised to see them in the #2 spot for as many weeks as they were in that position given that they seemed to be playing slow during most of the first two quarters and then come out and do better in the last two quarters. Any team slotted in the top 5 should be playing at their best from the initial coin flip to the end of the last quarter.
agreed. I’m not saying that they’re not talented running backs just after production hasn’t been anything off the charts that would make me believe that they are First Round material. I would project them somewhere in around three or four just because of the lack of production.
I hear you! That's the way I feel about our gov't for the last 4 years! If OSU loses goodbye Ryan Day and I think Caleb Downs will leave. Just my opinion!
@@nashvegas4476 The coaches will have to really choke to lose but fortunately Tennessee has a track record of I won't say underperforming but performing to actual ability and not living up to undeserved hype and choking so the coaches may catch a break there but regardless Day is gone unless he wins it all or at least makes a deep run.
@@pJ-us2vl Tennessee has a better defense and run game, that travels well, especially in the cold. Day has choked a few years in a row now, with the best roster in the NCAA. Might as well be the Dallas Cowboys.
DJ, those coaches MUST study that game because Michigan cracked the code. Every other team would see to do the same. The U.S. Army regularly does an "After Action Report" to find out what happened and why, so they can improve. All other organizations should do the same. Kelly's description sounds perfect, even to the point that he took responsibility by saying "we" didn't put the offense in a position to win. He's the OC. I view it as very healthy for those two reasons. Tennessee will not create success the same way Michigan did, because Kelly has fixed it.
I’m curious as to whether the Buckeyes practiced enough outside to better acclimate to the weather, and have they done the same in preparation for Tennessee? 🥶🏈
They’ve been practicing in and outside. They hey also have to live in the weather. One of the players I know was walking around last week in a jacket and shorts. I think they’re ready.
Every question during the presser was about Michigan. He tried to change the subject to Tennessee multiple times but your stupid beat reporters wouldn’t allow it. He should have never been in front of the media until after the Tennessee game. The entire leadership of that program is in shambles and we love it. Crazy how an awful 7-5 regular season feels better than your 10-2 season. 😂 Go Blue!!!
Just a theory but I think Ryan Day overruled Chip Kelly against Michigan. So, Chip Kelly can't come out against Ryan Day so he says we figured out what went wrong against Michigan. If Day let's Chip Kelly call the plays against Tennessee, I think we will be ok.
I think they don't trust Will Howard...Which I agree with. He's just a guy. Nothing special. He can't throw anything well accept 5 yard outs or to guys that are 15 yards open. If a guy is "open" but not wide open he can't do it. Basically if we didn't have 5 star receivers it would be even worse. You saw how he played whenever the talent was equal or close to equal, he couldn't pass. This goes back on Day/Chip being morons in my book. If you look at the k-state film you will see what Howard is good at. We don't do ANY of the things he is good at. I have no idea why they brought him here. What they are literally doing is like trying to turn CJ into a running QB. Makes no sense at all. He's just an avg dude that should be starting at Purdue, Northwestern or Rutgers. Nothing against the kid he's just ok, not a starter at Ohio State.
Shameful - It took them 2-weeks to study the loss and determine they did not put the offense in a position to win?!! It took 30 minutes for any knucklehead like me, to know they didn't turn their elite athletes loose against an outclassed opponent? They played it tight to the vest, waiting for SCUM to make the huge mistakes. The 2nd half was just a "rinse and repeat" episode of the 1st half. Moving forward - run the table, win the Natty and all will be forgotten. Do anything less and you might as well forget about 2025 as well. The table will be set once again for another disappointing season under Day albeit NO fault of the players on this roster. Knowles and the "D" did more than their part once again only to be let down by Ryan and Chip who coached NOT to lose. They didn't let these studs play fast and loose in the big games which they should. Go Bucks - run that table and carry that momentum into next season. Let the team stars play the elite football that they were promised as recruits and all falls into place - IMO.
@@djthesportsblerd9159 It's a big game so probably yes. I can coach this team to beat Purdue, Akron, Iowa etc. Beating equal or close to equal teams requires a well thought out gameplan which appears to be difficult for these coaches. A coach who makes $9.5 million a year should be able to come up with good game plans. The other teams coaches get paid as well, so I don't expect perfection, but the TTUN game was just plain old stupidity. TTUN has given these morons a 4 year blueprint on how to win. Control the line of scrimmage on offense. Thats it, can't get any simpler. OSU coaches refuse to learn from what they are being taught by UM. WE NEED BETTER OFFENSIVE LINEMEN. Screw getting another 5 star WR. Start getting 5 star offensive linemen. And a good QB. I think will Howard is part of the problem. They don't trust him and neither do I. He's just a guy. He should be starting at Purdue, Iowa or Northwestern, NOT Ohio State. This again shows these coaches are morons. If you look at his k-state film you will see what he's good at. We don't do any of the things that made him successful there. None of it. We've tried to make him a pocket passer which he clearly is not. He's fine when WR's are wide open or throwing a 5 yard out. If the WR's are even slightly covered but still open (like they are when you play a team with close or equal talent) he can't do it. Why did it take until the UM game for these idiots to figure it out. WTF were they looking at all spring, summer and fall camp?
I agree with what you said, but I will defend Chip Kelly in one aspect. Kelly hasn’t talked to the media since before the Xichigan game so he had to address the Xichigan game. That being said he should’ve talked to the media following the Xichigan game and then this wouldn’t be an issue.
I just thought that at this point of the season the coaches knew their team better. To have him come out and see the opposite makes me think about any game we’ll play going forward.
I'd say it's more a product of all of the local media only asking questions about the game, and the coaches kinda have to respond to the questions they get asked. What surprises me is that they haven't eventually told the reporters to move on - we won't talk about the game again until after the season and we can shift our focus to 2025.
@djthesportsblerd9159 they've tried time to time, but the questions persist. At some point they need to refuse to answer them. It's like the media is testing them and they aren't responding at this point lol
I’m not saying this because I’m a Michigan fan but there’s no way Ohio state’s running backs are 1st round picks. Neither of them showed that they’re 1st round picks at all this year. Change my mind
They’re first round talent. Judkins was the best back in the season for multiple seasons and Trey has been a fringe All American since he’s been at OSU, minus injuries he probably would’ve been. Once they go to to combine and test I find it likely they’ll be both drafted in the first 2 rounds.
Ok you need a better understanding of how the game of football is played . Noone and I mean Noone can run without a offensive line blocking your comments are ridiculous at best.

I saw a stat in regards to OSU V Michigan, the team that rushes the most yards almost always wins. This is part of what happened, Mi rushed for over 100yds more than OSU but I think the real difference was Fielding's 2 missed inside 40yds and Howards 2 ints.
Michigan left a lot of points on the board as well. Failed 4th and 1 conversion as well as the interception on the goal line instead of pounding it up the middle like they'd been doing. But it's all part of the game.
Here’s a different take on the Michigan game. Maybe Ohio State’s style is a bad matchup for Michigan’s style. For the last four seasons, the Ohio State fan base has blamed their team’s losses on everything but that. Michigan is the tougher team in the trenches. They don’t play soft in the trenches all year then try to get tough during the final game. Toughness is who they are inside and out. They didn’t lose simply because the coaches didn’t put them in position. Michigan’s defense dominated at the line of scrimmage. Ohio couldn’t pass or run the ball and Michigan’s toughness wore them down in the end
Great comment. I agree with this to an extent. Toughness can only get you so far that’s why Michigan lost 5 games this year. When you have much better players almost at every position you have to scheme up a gameplan that allows you to exploit lesser talent. Because we didn’t gameplan and simply wanted to “out-tough” them we played the game on their terms.
BS! Ohio State lost because of bad play calling, continued to try to run the ball into the middle of Michigan’s defense, instead of throwing the ball downfield to their elite receivers, when Michigan didn’t have their best defensive back on the field! Also two picks by Will Howard, and two missed field goals that looked very makable by Ohio State’s kicker! They only lost by 3 points, no excuse for the most talented team in the country to lose to a 5 loss Michigan team, that lost to some of the same teams that Ohio State beat, like Indiana, by 23 points! Ridiculous! 🌰🏈😊
I agree with you. I’ll be honest in saying that I, as a Michigan fan didn’t expect Michigan to win this game. Ohio state had more talent on both sides of the ball than Michigan did without a doubt but Ohio state chose to get into a slug fest instead of playing to their strengths (thank you Coach Kelly and Day). Michigan is and will consistently be a gritty team, especially in the trenches. They got torched all year in the passing game yet osu never really went to the air and when they did it didn’t end up going too well (with exception to just before the end of the first half). It doesn’t seem like the coaching staff is on the same page
They should understand coaching means adjusting if needed. 3 games where OSU coaching cost or almost cost them the game. Our coaches are better than this. 1) Oregon - Trailing Oregon by a pt, they move Oregon's 28, w/28 sec left. Instead of running for a few yds, kick fg, game. Coaches continue passing, got 15-yd penalty and moved out of fg range where they ran out of time. Coaching blew it. 2) Nebraska - Coaching stubbornly kept trying to run the ball (33 attempts for only 64 yds). Pass 13/16. 3) Mich - Run rabbit run, right into Michigan wall. When they threw the 🏈, they moved. They kept trying to run.
Still crying about the Michigan loss. Sooner OSU fans accept OSU offensive line wasn't prepared for mich front 4 on defense most of whom are 4, 5, 6. Year seniors left over from the natty team, and the OSU quarterback was under attack all game long. Having to rush to get rid of ball and make bad throws. The Sooner the pain will ease off. Get'em next year in Ann Arbor..
Story time: So I am watching one of those College Football youtube shows, CFP predictions. And when the guy comes to Ohio St vs Tennessee game, he says what we all know by now, that fans might actually make the game difficult for Ohio St. However, what had caught my attention, was what he said to support this claim. And he said, every single time Ryan Day or Chip Kelly say something, the fans hate them more. Which speaks to the emotions running so high in the fan base, and basically guaranteeing that the fans will make this game difficult for their own team. I understood the emotion, as much as non Ohio St fan can. However, I wondered how that looked like, that every single time coaches speak, fans hate more. ..... And now I know. Watching your video, this is how that looks like. So it doesn't matter what they say, it doesn't matter the context, no matter how reasonable the answer is.... Ohio St fan: "I hate it!" .... If it wasn't sad, it would have been hilarious. Heck, I am not Ohio St fan, so it really is hilarious. Chip Kelly, might have answered the question asked. I doubt he just out of the blue, decided to come out and speak about Michigan game. And once he was answering that question, he did what MEN do: Take responsibility. That's the best thing you can do, that's the only thing you can do: "We screwed up, we know what we need to fix now, and next time we will act better, make better decisions". And yet, you still: "I hate this!" .... LOL .... Why don't you just say what you really mean: "I hate both Ryan and Chip, they have screwed up irreparably, and I don't want to see them ever again. I would rather they don't exist any longer, and don't open their mouth, say things, or are around the state of Ohio." My suggestion is, make a decision: Either you want Ohio St to beat Tennessee or you don't. If you do, get behind your team and every single part of your team, coaches included. Support them like you want them to be successful. And let the chips fall where they may. Otherwise, demand they fire the coaches right away and forfeit the game. But don't do some weird hybrid of both, support the team, but hate the coaches. That's a big mistake.
I read all of this and it makes sense…contrary to what you may think I do what Day/Kelly to be successful as the rest of the team will be successful. However, what comes with the cache of coaching the Buckeyes also comes a level of expectation that at times may seem unreasonable. Day signed up for this knowing that. I wish no ill will personally toward him just call things like I see it. As crazy as it may seem being a Buckeye for the majority of us is baked deep into our identity. I’m came to TH-cam to connect with other people who think like I do in regards to this team. On a side note I saw many from Argentina put the same expectations on Lionel Messi and once he broke through and won a World Cup the reward for him for the rest of his life will be unparalleled. Same thing but to a lesser extent comes with being a Buckeye. Great comment by the way man, I hope you stick around and become part of the community, I’d genuinely to hear from you.
@@djthesportsblerd9159 Oh it's not contrary to what I think. I think that your logic dictates that you support the coaching staff as well, cause you want the team to win. However, your emotion is constantly getting in the way of that logic. Which is not surprising, since Emotions are liability in logical situations. So note the emotions, realize they are interfering with your logic, and either abandon logic and go all in with emotions, or pull back emotion in this instance, and let the logic allow you to support the team. The coach said what he was supposed to say. No need to let your emotions force you to comment negatively. Feel that way, but don't make a video about it. Make a video about how it's important for all the fans to come together and support the team, and coaching staff, and see how far you can go. I wish Ohio St the best of luck, and I fear that fans might end up sabotaging the team this weekend. I hope I am wrong.
@@kilepesic4027 the fan base in Ohio seems like their not used to dealing w the idea that football is a game , there are about 8 teams who could win this tournament , Ohio state being one of them , no team is dealing with overwhelming odds to win , they are all statistically likely to not win. It's like Trump , who simply is incapable of saying he lost, and is willing to throw everything away to not admit defeat. The maga fan and the buckeye fans have some dna in common.
They're not a good football team. I give their coaches credit for having a good game plan, and for OSU's coaches for having a bad plan. But Michigan lost 5 games...and to a lot of bad teams.
For beating you with a walk on.. at QB.. yall bitch about signs Michigan can only do 1 thing and that’s smash… yall knew the run was coming and couldn’t stop it an X line backer ran all over you period
If you thought this team had a chance of winning this game prior to Chip’s comments, then you haven’t even REMOTELY been paying attention (with all due respect). I thought we’d lose to UM due to a Howard pick-6 (or 3)…not the play-calling that unfolded. *That break-down signifies a WHOLE separate problem.* These guys are still talking about that game because, not only was it the single worst loss in OSU’s history….but, it will be the first of two losses cementing Ryan Day being fired. Those coaches are completely and utterly lost, confused, and fundamentally broken….especially Ryan Day. I don’t know enough about Chip Kelly to know what’s going on with him, short of Ryan Day having the last word in what Kelly does. And, it could be that Ryan Day is just now coming to grips with the fact that he’s in WAY over his head, and it’s all coming to the surface, with this last loss being the final straw. And, I’m not convinced that Chip called that UM game either. That play-calling had Ryan Day written ALL OVER it. These coaches, for whatever reason, have lost the ability to coach. Maybe the game had passed them by, maybe they’re WAY over-thinking how to play this team. Whatever it is, this team will lose….and you’re going to see a mass exodus with the transfer portal, with Day being fired. And, ALL of this was as predictable as the sun rising. It wouldn’t surprise me if Ryan Day drives a loaded U-haul to The Shoe Saturday, and leaves Columbus from there. I think he WANTS to get the f-k out of dodge, given he’s getting his teeth kicked in right now. And, he doesn’t want to hear it all over again for losing AT HOME….in cold-weather to a warm-weather, SEC team. I WANT this team to win, and do something spectacular this year. But, there’s not a single spread of information that says that could happen. *I’ll say one other thing that Urban brought up recently in regards to USC and “momentum”. OSU recruiting is already in deep trouble. If Day doesn’t make a VERY strong run with this CFP, OSU’s going to lose momentum, and we won’t even be able to “buy” kids at that point. They won’t want the stench on them. And, a new HC will have to come in and clean it all up over the course of 2-to-3 4-loss seasons. Ryan Day has all but DESTROYED this program. It wouldn’t surprise me if you see empty seats in The Shoe Saturday night. Fans are checking out, for all the reasons I just mentioned. Short of fanatics, there are a LOT of fans who have no desire to spend an obscene amount of money to watch Ryan Day humiliate this team again, especially, while they still have that UM train-wreck in their heads.*
3:10 fails to mention our two best players are injured. arguably more important then our qb wrs rbs for the sole reason we are so thin at this position. our injury problems screwed us and screwed our coaches. the game plan wasn’t terrible you need to establish a run game to win. i just think they did horrible at adjusting. but it’s hard to pass when you have absolutely no run game and our back guards are terrible.
DJ injuries are part of the game. It a weak excuse to use to me. Even with those players down the talent on this time should be able to overcome a 6-5 team that also had two of their best players missing
@@djthesportsblerd9159 ok first of all they had one player missing on defense which was the only side of the ball that mattered because they where missing two of there best players on offense and the defense shut them down. if anyone’s making excuses it’s y’all for how garbage will howard played and how bad this o line is. and matter of fact almost everyone on the offense had horrible plays that lost us the game. Howard threw a terrible ball on a covered out route leading to there only score of the game basically losing us the game. egbuka had a curl route and left his zone he was suppose to sit in leading to will howard’s second pick. Henderson completely missed a wide open cut back touchdown run on third down (horrible vision) in the red zone leading to a missed field goal by fielding. tate dropped the most wide open flat route on third down that killed a game winning drive. and the line just looked like baby’s which is the biggest reason we lost. keep coping and saying it’s coaching when the truth is it’s a mix of everything but if everyone just did there job we would have won by 20 at least.

The 2nd half of The Game was one of the worst displays of offensive play-calling I've ever seen. I've said this in many other threads; TN is gonna make running between the tackles just as difficult as UM did. To win this game in cold, windy conditions, they need to utilize Howard in the same way Urban utilized JT Barrett against UM. Roll him out with either TB trailing him. Make a read and either turn upfield and run outside the tackle or pitch to the tailback. This play went for 55 yds on (3) attempts against PSU and 17 yds on (1) attempt against UM. It works and will force TN to move their safeties up to help against the run, which will, in turn, create 1 on 1 situations for OSU's receivers in RPO packages.
As a Vols fan looking in at OS, it looks like they are planning on fighting the last battle instead of the next one. I think Samson runs all over your asses and your quarterback gets planted by the Tennessee dl. Might even make him question his future in football.
Everyone keeps selling Michigan short. The only game this season that they got owned in was Texas. Every other game they had their shots and just didn’t get it done. That D is ferocious and they stepped it up in Columbus. Say what you will, but when your QB throws 2 pics, you’re going to try to run the ball… unfortunately it was against the best D line in the country. Howard was the reason you lost. He was shook. He threw a pic, then got popped and welcomed to the game proper, and couldn’t get back on track. Simple. D did what it was supposed to.
I don’t have a dog in this fight. But, I really think that Buckeye Fans don’t really understand who The Vols are. Having to come through the grind of the SEC every week! The Buckeyes “might” win, but they won’t dominate The Vols.
Thanks for checking out the channel first and foremost! I went down Tennessee’s schedule in one of my recent videos and I wasn’t impressed. The SEC isn’t what it used to be but hey that’s just my opinion.
I've lost all faith in this coach Day program, suffered through 13 years of coach Coopers bullsh×t and the same soft traits are there. Buckeyes might win this game but definitely won't win the next one. Packed all my Buckeye gear in the old Samsonites waiting for the firings to come.
I mean if they'd call the game like the Clemson & Georgia Game & had a offensive line worth a fuck we might be a Dangerous football team. Call the game like from the 2019 xchigan game. We'd have the potential to be a really good football team.
@djthesportsblerd9159 granted, he's done a good job with CU, but I don't think he's the guy to beat UM. Building a team of transfers is never gonna work to make a team elite. Just ask Ole miss. Sure, that'll be good for 10 wins a year, but that's what u have now. But as a UM fan, sure replace Day with Sanders

Enough of the drama and bullsh*t from the Buckeyes. Just play the game and represent OHIO. Players can not lose a game with a single mistake but poor play calling from coaches does lose games for players.
Sounds like denial about Michigan. Michigans defense was anchored by players who won the natty. OSU scored 10 points cuz they finally played a team with a defense.
Ohio State don’t need to run to develop the Pass, They need to Pass to Develop the Run
I agree. Too many dawgs on the outside
It’s a shame Ohio State hasn’t used their receivers properly the last 4 years. Hartline worked hard to get these guys to commit then they run the offense from the 70s. Very predictable

Amazing to see Chip Kelly realizing when they throw it works, and when we run the same runs 2 or 3 times in a row, it doesn't work. Great coaching.
Let’s just hope they do have everything figured out. If they don’t everyone could be looking for a job.
Kelly must be as stupid as Day.
Chip is a run the ball first.. So now will throw the ball more. We need to get back to Old Ryan Day air attack.
Chip Kelly: another loser coach who thinks he's a genius....
I’ll say what I’ve been saying the entire season…
Let the kids play ball. Cut em loose. Don’t hold back. Throw the deep ball, get the perimeter some reps, call some option plays.
Great channel by the way! Appreciate your content.
It’s crazy that they’re not allowing the athletes to play. Thank you for the kind words, stay a while we’re trying to build a good community here!
The game plan to beat Michigan….wait….

I’ve heard that RD was overridden on quite a few plays that he called. Idk if true or not, but a lot of those plays didn’t seem CK-esque
I suspect even though Ryan Cooper 2.0 says he isn't calling the plays, he has a huge influence on the play calling including perhaps giving Chip Kelly the list of plays to run e.g. run 70% of the run plays straight up the middle etc.
@ 100%….
@ I wouldn’t believe a word of that….it matters at this point. Ryan Day get’s the last word. There’s no such thing as “overriding a HC”. And, that play calling was anything BUT Chip Kelly.

DJ, those coaches MUST study that game because Michigan cracked the code. Every other team would see to do the same. If a guy is "open" but not wide open he can't do it. Basically if we didn't have 5 star receivers it would be even worse.

The offensive production took a hit as O-line losses started. It's almost like they are important. You need them to run and you need them to pass.
My argument is not that the offensive line isn’t important…my argument is that you have to account for these things to happen in such a violent sport.

I would’ve answered something along the lines of…that game is passed we’re on to Tennessee.

Not to mention, lost because they have a kicker who can not make a field goal outside 35 yards.
@ that too. But it wouldn’t have been close if the team was tougher.
Chip Kelly shoudn't have kept forcing the run all of the time when It just wasn't happening.
I agree! We had too many threats on the outside.
As a Michigan man i for one applaud Kelly's arrogance to run right into the strength of Michigan's defense
@@myinternetzoo seems like Ryan wouldn't let him call his game

The coaches will decide their own fate on Saturday but.....if the fans start booing like they did against Michigan this game will be over real soon
The coaches shouldn’t give them anything to boo then.
Watch out for Rockytop. LOL And as always. Go Blue!!
Go little blue! Right to the toilet bowl game!
Ryan needs to coach at Memphis or Arkansas State
Michigan state or UCLA would be right up his alley. 10-2/9-3 at those schools and they’d pave the streets with gold for him.
After losing to Michigan...they shouldn't have even been in the CFP. It was an embarrassment.
Ohio State no matter how you slice is should’ve 100 percent been in the Cfp…2 losses by a combined 4 points is tough to leave out
It tells me they are trying to fix mistakes they made
I agree. I just hope it’s not too late
Agreed Ohio’s got this 🏈Feel better DJ!

Do you think just maybe Vegas had their fingers in the outcome?

Story time:
So I am watching one of those College Football youtube shows, CFP predictions.
I would rather they don't exist any longer, and don't open their mouth, say things, or are around the state of Ohio."
My suggestion is, make a decision: Either you want Ohio St to beat Tennessee or you don't.
Give Michigan credit!
For what?!?
They're not a good football team. I give their coaches credit for having a good game plan, and for OSU's coaches for having a bad plan. But Michigan lost 5 games...and to a lot of bad teams.
For beating you with a walk on.. at QB.. yall bitch about signs Michigan can only do 1 thing and that’s smash… yall knew the run was coming and couldn’t stop it an X line backer ran all over you period
Ryan Day and Kelly both need to be fired immediately
No we have too much on the line right now. Let this season play out.
Stretch the line out and let the line men do what they know how it’s done

I did, I still would’ve answered the question differently.
@@dj.sobxrbe offensive line injuries are hard to overcome.
Day is the best coach in CFB. At whining and crying every time he gets out coached on a play. His head twists around looking for a bailout call.
Every time
They better learn real quick in Saturday to get the studs involved otherwise these dudes will enter the portal especially smith and tate
We can’t lose those 2
Maybe Chip Kelly saw a head coaching opportunity.
i’m ngl this is the problem with osu football today. can we just see what they do on Saturday before saying where gonna lose? i get it we lost to mighigan but jesus i’m tired of how sorry and depressing this fan base is. literally scaring off transfer portal players because of how negative this fan base is. mighigan literally went 7-5 and are in better spirits then we are that’s some bs we still got a lot to play for.
Go Blue from Columbus Ohio...yall need to keep Ryan Day...why would you want to get rid of him...i mean...what happened lol
See this right here is just cold lol.
I agree with you
🙏🏿
So you know so much about playing calling btw where have you coached a offense
I'm about to double down on the money I've already placed on Tennessee
Go for it. I’m not that confident in the Vols…they’re hot and cold.
Big orange nation is coming over the hill and through the hollers soon !
The way i seen the game is chip Kelly wants the head coaching job
He won’t get it.
@@codykermes1682 Ryan didn't let chip do his thing. Chip is an exceptional play caller.
As a Vols fan looking in at OS, it looks like they are planning on fighting the last battle instead of the next one. I think Samson runs all over your asses and your quarterback gets planted by the Tennessee dl. Might even make him question his future in football.
As an Ohio State looking at the Vols I think Nico throws 2+ picks in this game and bails out our QBs bad play.
As much as I hate to admit it, this was a great take.
@ Ty brother! Good luck in the playoffs! Hope you represent well!
Go Vols!
No sir!
No redemption. Ohio can drop a 100 on Tennessee and they still lost to Michigan. 😮
Yea but let’s be honest…OSU drops 100 and we’ll forget about the loss to Michigan

Double overtime 24 - 21 Ohio State to win.
I've lost all faith in this coach Day program, suffered through 13 years of coach Coopers bullsh×t and the same soft traits are there. Buckeyes might win this game but definitely won't win the next one. Packed all my Buckeye gear in the old Samsonites waiting for the firings to come.
Let’s at least wait to see what’s gonna happen in this playoffs.
O line is suspect. Better come out with a plan to hit quick passes
In certain they will.
I mean if they'd call the game like the Clemson & Georgia Game & had a offensive line worth a fuck we might be a Dangerous football team. Call the game like from the 2019 xchigan game. We'd have the potential to be a really good football team.
💯 percent agree
Does Ryan Day know that its better to study the films before the.game ?
Day and his group need to go
Sometimes I think the same way
As a michigan fan, i hope they beat TN and oregon and then lose in the semis. Should be enough to keep Day around, but no natty.
Absolutely not, if we’re not gonna win the natty please let’s lose first round so we can make our offer to Coach prime
@djthesportsblerd9159 granted, he's done a good job with CU, but I don't think he's the guy to beat UM. Building a team of transfers is never gonna work to make a team elite. Just ask Ole miss.
