Amazon Alexa Echo Show 15 | Day One - Unboxing and Setting up for the first time

- I have been implementing Amazon Alexa devices in my home since they were first released. Since then, I have skipped several iterations of the devices. When Amazon announced this device however, I knew I wanted it. I am still not sure if I will wall mount it or use the tilt stand (separate video).

In this video, I unbox the Echo Show 15. It is deeper and heavier than I was expecting, so this will influence wether or not I do end up mounting it to the wall. I also go through the setup of the device for the first time which is relatively painless as most Amazon Devices are.

You can stop all advertising on the screen with settings. That's the first thing I do with all my Echo shows.

A majority of your issues was due to AWS being down for the whole day. My lights and smart devices were having issues as well that day.
A real stupid issue to have with Amazon as their new premiere product launches and their servers going down at the same time will cause first impressions of their product to sour.
A real bad PR move by them if you ask me.
I didn't realize that AWS was having issues yesterday. I knew it was earlier in the week based on my experience at work. I am looking forward to seeing how the device performs over the weekend. Thank you for watching!
My Alexa app won’t let me add the echo show 15 so I can connect it to everything. Please help
Interesting. Make sure your Alexa app is updated to the latest version. Were you able to set everything up through the Echo Show’s UI (ie not through the app on your phone)?

How loud is the sound?
It has really good sound. Not quite as good as the Echo Show 10 because the 15 doesn’t have the built in sub. Thank you for watching!

I’m surprised Amazon didn’t release it in Italy. It may be a supply issue if it was a planned release.
Camera try to focus. Couldn’t take it. Turned it off. On to the next.
I understand. For some reason, the autofocus wouldn’t turn off.
15 inches for Amazon to ruin your device with incessant nag screen adverts. Never again will I waste my money on those wrong 'uns.
