What string gauge did you use for drop A# ? Where are you using FX or drop pedal? I’m literally going to return my Jackson baritone as we speak because it does not do well in this tuning for some reason and I am thinking about replacing it with this guitar
I just ordered this same guitar. Was it worth it? I have a Jackson Juggernaut HT-6 Pro, PRS SE Mark Holcomb model, 2 Charvels, a DK24 Pro-Mod with a gotoh bridge and a 22 fret san dimas with a Floyd. Then 😂, I bought an Ibanez RGA42-FM and slapped 11-56 NYXL's on it, and tuned it to drop C and its usually all I use now 😂. But it got me thinking about a longer scale 6 string and i found this. Do you love it? Tell me your thoughts about it. Nice playing too.
Hey William thanks !! sorry for the delay, I love it no doubt about it, sold an ltd mh1000 to get that ibanez and have absolutely no regrets. If you like the rga42, there's no way you won't like this one, just take your time to learn the evertune, setup the guitar (watch out for the nut it's often badly cut, had to redo mine) and youll be good :) I never tried any of your guitars, but from what I heard the prs feels a bit cheaper than the rgd, tell me what you think when get it !!
@Tryzaza I got it a couple of days ago. I hated that I couldn't bend strings. Then I found out how to set it up. I watched a video from Ola re-stringing his Solar. I checked the Evertune calculator, etc, and set it up in zone 2, tuned with the key, tuning pegged just out of zone 2 into zone 3, backed off JUST into zone 2 again and fine tuned once more and done! It's not hard, actually, and it's awesome! I'm keeping for sure! It sounds and plays incredibly. Edit: The nut on mine seems to be fine. Perfect height and intonation. Edit 2 (lol): Yes, the PRS DOES feel like a plastic toy! I've been saying this for a while. Yeah, I don't really play it. I DO, however, play my Jackson Juggernaut HT-6 Pro, and that guitar does NOT feel cheap.
@@Tryzaza I left you another comment asking what string gauge you are using and if you had to do anything different with the springs and this tuning because this tuning is what I play in most of the time. I literally just went and returned the baritone I bought and bought this instead Figured I would have to replace the plastic nut, but I guess we shall see
@@feedthewolf6930 Hey, for that song in drop A#, I had my guitar downtuned with a pitch shifter, that guitar is always setup in drop C# and stays in it bc that's how I set it up with the evrtune. But the thing I had to do, apart of the overall setup, was to file the nut correctly and lower it. It was way too high for me taste
@@Tryzaza lower the actual nut!? Like take a piece of the neck out!? Fml I just purchased this guitar to have set up for drop A# Because several people told me it could be done on a 26.5 fml I don’t have access to all that expensive pitch shifter equipment I mean hell I’m using an iPad to record And you can’t use a drop pedal to record because it introduces all about an extra BS Shit now I’m trippin So you have to lower the nut just for drop C#!? That’s only a half step down even on a regular 25.5 that doesn’t make any sense. I’m confused
Oh its that perfect gray!
Ooooh nice! My ESP has an Evertune bridge, they are amazing.

How does that string dampener thing work?
it helps to eliminate string noises and resonances happening above the nut, especially usefull on tight palm mute parts for example
@@Tryzaza oh ok thanks
