It can happen. I have written songs far beyond my caliber that I struggled with for a long while before I could nail it perfectly in a take. Even then lol, sketchy at times.
Legend. Absolute beast on rythem and lead! I'm an old fart (nearly 40) and only found you guys last year, please don't stop doing what you are doing. I genuinly think you are the best metalcore band since Killswitch!
While I am sad you lost a brother, i believe in Polaris and also believe the future is bright for you all. All of you have a gift. I love your music. Keep It Rocking.
I am absolutely loving the fact that you're putting the tabs out so publicly available. That's one of the things that held me back so much when I was trying to learn instruments early on. I would listen to a song, want to learn how to play it, and I could never find it accurately transcribed... but if the artists themselves put it out, you know it's going to be on point (now we just need some drum tabs). Thank you for the amazing music!
To play such technical music and having it all come together and having it still sound dope is no easy task, especially live. But Polaris nails it and never fails to impress. Fucking love this band!
Rick, you’ve did an awesome job on this I believe you have made Ryan proud looking down on you I know we all miss him but I know you guys are carrying on his legacy because I’m a huge fan of the band and you guys an fatalism was my metalcore album of the year fantastic fellas
So lucky to finally see yall live few months ago. Really made an impact hearing and singing along to these amazing songs that keep me going. I hope we all can keep you going as well
It seems so simple, but the manic run from 2:52 - 3:06 and the following breakdown to 3:30 is one of my favorite song sections of all time, of any song. The fact they pull off so much energy and aggression without any tritone chords or any bottom string usage is a testament to how well these guys craft their riffs. It just feels so right that the song abruptly turns into a drop C face melter supplemented with dissonant suspension chords to champion all of the downtuned chuggy riffs that lie before it. Goddamnn. Ryan's writing influence will never be lost on me. What a legend. But I can't wait to see what Rick comes up with in the future, I'm not oblivious to the fact he is just as much of an asset to the band.
so i've got to see polaris years back in the Netherlands when they just released the mortal coil. they were a small band touring with we came as romans, a plot in you, alazka and others. wcar should be the "main act" and they were incredible.. but Polaris got my attention. the whole album is a masterpiece and from that day i couldn't stop listening. i am going to see them soon again in march but this time it will be different because there is no Ryan on the leads. man, i miss him so much. he was a main part for his unique playing and solo's. can't wait to see them again after all those years, but knowing Ryan won't be there gives me an empty feeling. RIP Ryan. that show will be for you!
Hi mate, I saw Polaris 2 times with Ryan and once in September without him, that's was so sad but as the same time life goes on and that's beautiful. When I saw them last time it was with the guitarist of Windwaker and he was ripping those riffs 👌
@@TheAlex4019 thank you for the respond! Glad to hear that your second show had a solid guitarist to back him up! I am looking forward to the show aswel, but i felt like Polaris is nothing without him but your respond gave me hope! Thanks a lot!
I have imagined Ryan shredding this tune since it came out. This vid honestly makes me cry 😢😢😢 Fuck we miss you Ryan!! Sending my love to everyone in the band !!!
my first experience in listening to Polaris songs was when the announcement that Ryan joined Polaris (the video when Rick still using his "fakemachine" guitar) and now I see that Polaris has become a successful band. RIP Ryan.
So fucking sick! Hope you guys drop the instrumental because these riffs are so great! RIP Ryan, it would have been amazing to see you both dual this play-through.
Hello, me and Russia. I'm sure your music is listened to all over the world. Thank you for making playtra, playing and developing guitar playing technique on your songs. Thank you
Rick absolutely nailed this. But damn, it makes you miss seeing Ryan absolutely jamming next to him on one of these. RIP Ryan
Imagine not nailing your own song

@@Malice_G it's a playthrough... mimicking, not live
So tight, so good. RIP Ryan.

Seeing Rick sitting there alone in the thumbnail kinda broke my heart again :(
Straight fire 🔥 Rick always brings the goods but it's heartbreaking not seeing Ryan beside you. Miss you buddy 💔
This guy makes metalcore alive again

RIIIIIICK. Absolutely killing it. Love this song. Love the new signature too. RIP Ryan, lead king.
Thank you for all that you do, Rick and Polaris.

Stunning playthrough though and love the tabs down below!

A year has passed and I still can't get over how good 0:57 is ...
Incredible riffs, awesome performance and one of the best songs ever composed!
Those chorus arpeggios get me every time
I love playthroughs so much because you see so much more technicality, more precision in the writing I get to appreciate. Thank you!
To this day those taps make me tear up. Rest in peace, Ryan. And godspeed to the rest of Polaris, you beautiful bastards
Great player, great guitar, great song, everything great! Thanks for on screen tabs 🤝
Keep it going!!!! Fantastic.

Playthrough with tab?! what a legend
Rick, you straight up crush it, sooooo good!
As a guitar player you really inspire me.

as much as i love the djenty modern metalcore, but this type of simple and effective riff will always have a special place in my heart
