Aly is a pretty attractive, spectacular PPG Pilot. I would love to chase her Blue Skies! I did not know Aly was so brave. She has got it going on! Greatt Job Dave. TY
Hey, I caught that tandem trike ride that went awry. It was on my 360 camera and you took off right before me so I got it from start to finish. I’ll text it to you if you send your number in an email. Daviddepinho@yahoo.com I give you my number when I reply so we can talk and have a laugh! Way to pull out of a bad wind gust!
The OneUp team is amazing. Aly deserves hazard pay imho. Thanks for the vid, its good to see people enjoying the skies! Im sure youll LOVE the gear and skills for many flights.
David, it was nice to meet Martha and yourself at Lake Wales 3 weeks ago, just before you were certifying for tandem trike! I certainly enjoyed getting down to Aviator and getting some valuable info on Wednesday morning. As promised, my you-tube channel is Wayne Coverley PPG. I only have 1 video so far that I took with the GoPro on my birthday, I hope you enjoy! I always look forward to yours, they are so inspiring! You're a class act David, I hope we can someday fly together. All the best, and BE SAFE, best regards to you and those you hold dear, Wayne Coverley
@@ParamotorPrattville I am in Prattville, 240 pounds 73 years old, trying to fulfill bucket list, budget probably not an issue if I like it as much as I think I will., but need my ability assessed
@@ggmu22 ok, great to hear! 240 pounds is near the top end of this sport. Particularly for foot launch. I know many trainers. no licenses or certifications are required. It is perhaps the least regulated flying there is and it’s certainly the cheapest., once you have you equipment and training your cost is pretty much limited to gas and oil. Except for maintenance, gas and oil cost me about 5 dollars a flight. Most trainers don’t allow 250 or more for foot launch. I suggest trike launching. Particularly with your age. I had surgery on both knees and have a trike that I ride as well. That way I’m ready to do it all the time when I can’t foot launch. What is your name? I assume you are retired as I am and that money is not an issue. If this is the case, the best training is Lake Wales Florida with either “One Up Adventures” or “AviatorPPG”. I would go to AviatorPPG for the group training. Training will cost about $3500.00 and equipment, new engine, trike, and wing, helmet, near 14 thousand. If you want to do it for less You can train with another guy “Happy Thoughts PPG” in Live oak Florida. You could also buy used but I wouldn’t recommend it. The Happy Thoughts PPG training is about 1500. It will save a couple thousand for training. But the boot camp like group training experience of a lifetime is best from AviatorPPG. Training is similar but the experience of camaraderie is truly worth every penny. It’s two weeks of training full time sunrise to sunset, you learn ALLOT! Anyway, Trike launching is VERY easy, you will learn about winds, weather, and flying techniques from an excellent trainer, and that’s not me. 😀. But all of those guys I mentioned are some of the best east of the Mississippi. You can join me when I launch this week when I fly again if you would like. Let me have your phone number and I call you with the when and where. I’ll trike launch for you. God bless!
It was great meeting and flying with you guys! 😁
The honor was all mine! Hope we can fly together again some day! 😀

Coming from an independent, unbiased person such as yourself, that means allot! 😀. How would you rate the instructors? 😀

I want to fly, what do I need to do
Well, what state are you in and how much do you weigh? You will need to train before buying any equipment. What’s your budget?
