    That's what I'm looking forward to! I love travelling light (Although just travelling with a daypack won't be an option anymore when packing a drone) and I already have a 90W USB-C brick.
    Could you help me decide between the M7 and M4P? The M4P is cheaper and a bit smaller, also I don't need that cable. However it's not as futureproof (just 80W, no IR measuring) Or if you think even the M7 isn't a "proper" charger or at some point anyone needs multiple chargers, then I'll get the M4P. Or the M9? But it's bigger and more expensive...

    Will the USB-C/PD cable work with *any* charger with an XT60 input? Presuming, of course, I stay below the rated limit of the attached power supply?

    • @AlbertKimTV
      @AlbertKimTV  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, it should work with other brands with the XT60 connector and you stay within the limits of your power brick.

    Funny, just this morning I got a ZY12PDN (a USB-C PD trigger thingy) in my mail, which I wanted to use for exactly this purpose. I have a small 100W 4-port PD charger and want to use it for ToolkitRC M7 and TS100 when travelling. This cable looks better, I haven't stumbled on it when searching for the solution a month or two ago. Is it that new?

    I mean if I got a 100w charger could I charge bigger batteries? Or should I just go for the 65w ? For right now id like just what I need for 1s - 2s lipos

    • @AlbertKimTV
      @AlbertKimTV  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      More power lets you charge bigger batteries or smaller batteries faster. You can still charge up huge batteries on 65w, just not as fast which is better for the longevity of the battery.

      @@AlbertKimTV hey albert I know your probably a busy guy but If you have time I could use your help. I have a charge board that turns a bunch of 1s lipos up to a 6s so maybe the 100w charger is the one i should get? Or would it still be ok for the 65w? And is it just mainly any usb c 65-100w charger, that would work with the m7?

    • @AlbertKimTV
      @AlbertKimTV  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The 100W charger is better but only good for things with XT60 connectors whereas the other one is more versatile with USB-C.

    Hello! How whould you recommend to charge lipos for beginners, who've got their first chargers? I got an isdt 6 nano and found out, that a lot of the time it gives not a satisfying result in terms of the accuracy of the voltage. So how can I, as a beginner, know to what voltage I can charge my new lipos that I didn't even use, so it is not dangerous?

    • @AlbertKimTV
      @AlbertKimTV  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      It depends on the level of inaccuracy. If it's off by 0.1 or 0.2 volts, I wouldn't worry about it. If the inaccuracy is larger, then the charger might have a defect and you should contact the manufacturer for a replacement.

      @@AlbertKimTV Thank you for your helpful reply. Would the sc100 cable work with an ISDT Q6 pro charger, using an 18w PD (which can deliver USB-C output: 5V 3A, 9V 2A, 12V 1.5A and so perhaps the PD will run at 9V 2A or 12V 1.5A?)?

    • @AlbertKimTV
      @AlbertKimTV  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      That depends on the rating of the fuse in your car. Not all cars are the same. Mine is rated to 120W so at 3 amps, it can pull up to 40V.

    • @AlbertKimTV
      @AlbertKimTV  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Depends on the power brick. It needs to support USB-C Power Delivery with the SC-100 cable. Otherwise it won't work.

    I wonder about using two in parallel or series... 200w @10 amps makes it much more usable! But I'm also stupid in the electricity field ..
