damn good, I am just in 12 grade and have chemistry 1 and this actually helped much! I watched for videos like this, explaining dipole moment, because some of my task had an wierd answer: that CH4 is dipol (nonpolar), that answer doesn't make sense, atleast in this example because first of all the bonds between the atoms are unpolar and carbon has 4 empty spots of electrons and we have 4 H atoms which would make the carbon filled when it shares with the 4 H'es. thanks again :)

Please show vectors of terahedral structure of ch4 and how no electron movement take place....what if out of al hydrogen of ch4 one bond consist other atom than hydrogen how will it effect?

I don't get It, how do hydrogen and carbon in your second example have the similar electronegativity??? they are so apart on the table.

The electronegativity of carbon is 2.55 and the electronegativity of hydrogen is 2.20 so they both have very similar electronegativities.
