Couldn't see exactly what kind of snake, but it looks like a harmless gopher snake. Good to have around for mouse extraction. I'm sure that's what it was looking for. Great video!
You're right, not a Bull snake. It's a Fox snake. I used to catch em in the barn when I was a youngster. But holy crap, that is one solid rig. Like, where's the rust? Weird. :D
Looked like a corn snake . Mouse catcher . That's a good deal. Love those old trucks . Button down is low side , button up is high . And you get a free snake .
Mr. B. Here ! 🍩☕️👀😎👍. Don’t worry young people need their Star Bucks ! LOL . I had forgotten about King Piñons . That’s a work horse truck ! Well that old girl needs a little love going forward ! Very cool that it’s running ! Good luck with it . 🍩☕️👀😎👍
Well it runs. Just needs a master cylinder and a clutch. Thanks for sharing! 💯👊👍
I opened up TH-cam sat down at my desk and your video popped up and made my morning. 👍
Appreciate it Chad! I'll have another one up on Friday hopefully

It had plenty of mice to eat that's for sure!

It's pretty good! Judging by the title, it was in central/western nebraska for most of its life, so that explains the body condition
Too bad you have to part it out, but that's how it goes sometimes. My fear of snakes would have had me running the other way. Cool old truck.
Thank you! I'm going to list it for sale as a complete truck for a while and see if there's any interest

Alrighty so I was on the low side. Makes sense why it would start in second gear. Looks like the bonus snake moved on from the truck!
Got to love the Chevy small block.
They're pretty effortless huh!

Thank you much! Not sure what to do with it yet. I was able to find king pins for the "good" truck I'm keeping, so I might sell this one as is
Mr. B. Here ! Good move ; am in favor get it running & stopping and sale it , take what you need ! Good luck
Good.truck
MORTSKI sent me ... dig the ponchos
Appreciate it! We have a handful of them laying around!
Reminds me of the old Hudson automatics you could of push start then in gear.
Hudson did some goofy stuff back then! Had a 52 with overdrive
Well worth putting in a new clutch & pressure plate and master cylinder. I would put the work into that old gal.
They're cool but I don't need two! It would be a good workhorse for someone
This truck has its own strange beauty if you are into automotive aesthetics.
your leak in the cab likely is the oil pressure line or gauge .
It really had me scratching my head. Havent looked to see if the oil is running out of the back of the gauge
Oil pressure line bad inside your cab
