This is perfect. Love the Derelicts and the TR's. Amazing mix in this one. The alligator is stunning, the shift boot is a nice touch. The wood color is spot on. The door exteriors look like a company signage has aged off by wear. Cool detail if done intentionally but awesome nonetheless on an old worn out truck exterior that has some stories to tell. Love this one.
Beautiful. Note that Brazilian Cherry is highly photosensitive and will turn a different shade if exposed to sunlight. When used as interior flooring, you can easily have a permanent imprint of a rug in front of a door if near a window for a year.
Beautiful work. I love the work that you do, very creative..you give me alot of inspiration for the build I do. I build similar rust work, at a much, much, smaller scale.1/24 scale if may add😂 i just completed a 1950 3100 chevy that is fully rusted, and let me tell you rust plastic is not wasy to do.😂 Have a good one.
I am a big fan of the thrift master series, I have a 53 and was wondering if you could do a video of the frame setup you use on them.? All I can find is small glimpses of it, it appears to be a derivative of stock I would love to know more.?!
Nice job on the truck! I am doing a 50 Chevy COE. I really liked the stainless dash and how the AC registers were incorporated. I assume that was all custom? Did you start with repop dash trim and then modify or all custom? Is it stainless or machined aluminum then polished?
@@martyscncgarage5275 we developed it from scratch in CAD. It is CNC aluminum which we Chrome. Currently, we do not sell this part, but it has inspired a couple copycats, who are retailing something similar yet simpler. We’ve considered selling it, but we think people would be pissed off at the reality of how expensive it is.
Keeping the original paint pays homage to the truck’s history and experience AND means you don’t mind really driving it- get a rock chip/ding? No matter. And you can park your $200K truck in a regular parking lot w/o worrying.
I love the interiors beautiful but the exterior it's horrible got to give it a good paint job I don't get the derelict saying and you'll probably get stopped by the police especially if you're living in the East Coast 🙄😆
I'll repeat myself with every ICON TM post: "When I win the lottery...."
If I win the lottery I will buy at least 3

When do Icons get ABS? 😅 That’s really the only thing missing

The patina thing is a current fad. I think it is ugly, but it's not my vehicle and not my money.
@@paulsmallriver6066Right?
The patina makes it less precious. For some people it's not fun to constantly worry about dings, dirt and scratches.
Oh damn
That’s fugly!
