I don't know if I could watch your vlogs , if you are not in them.😰 it's scary being terminal, and watching others that are also terminal, slowly fade around you. Charolette, Sofia, Emily, ... It's scary how uncontrollable cancer is. I've been in hospital eight times this week, I can't even believe I even have blood left, but I'm thankful that, I can participate in trials. I think about you every day man, I think about those of us with cancer, and what we go through that no one sees, and I'm right there with you. It's just so God damned unfair. I keep secretly praying and hoping and waiting, all the things we're told to help us deal with our eventual untimely demise. It just gets me right in the gut every single time. Choosing to document your journey, and choosing joy well that's amazing, and brave, and hopefully, the more faces we can put in front of the cancer, the more awareness can be raised, the more kindness we can bring on, and understanding, for people just like us suffering from this horrid horrid disease. I hope you read your comments, I hope you see this one, and know that I stand behind you Dan, I stand behind my brother in cancer. we might not have the same cancer, we may not live in the same country, but your name comes up at the breakfast table, and we pray for you, we watch these vlogs, and we pray for you. you are making an immense impact, so on those days where you're feeling down, and in so much pain that it's unbearable, know you are certainly not alone, and that it's not in vain and know that you're courage to find and pull strength, is helping me, 30 years old dying of cancer, pull strength from you, and then think about how many of your following, feels the same as me. you're still living, and that's how I want to go, to be living right up until I die, you're courageous raw, real, and amazing, and it's wonderfully uplifting, and a reminder to never give in, or to give up against the cancer bully. We have it, but it doesn't have us.

He has passed, and I’m going through old videos of him to be reminded of him when he was healthier. It’s great to see the light in his eyes. You can tell he truly enjoys making videos, and he feels strongly that this should be a community of support and kindness.

Sarcomatoid carcinoma (pleomorphic I believe)
I recently came across this channel, I felt haunted by the latter videos; I too am having to go back through his earlier ones to be reminded of the healtier looking Dan.
I was going through his channel and couldn't believe this video was taken only 4 weeks before his passing... It reminded me of my aunt who passed away 3 years ago at 45 from brain cancer. I remember her feeling really well 1 month before her passing, and then it went downhill extremely rapidly. F cancer. And much respect to this man, such bravery... Moved to tears
Ive heard many stories that before people pass away they have a month or week or even an hour of strong clarity and vitality and then it goes down hill from there.
It might be the body literally sending away the last bits of energy, the body is doing everything in its power to one alive.

Some people would say that this is a channel or just about cancer that it documents cancer I have to say. This is a vlog of your life. You so happen to have cancer but that does not define who you are as a person. It doesn't Define what your channel is all about. It's what you're dealing with so we understand and we are not leaving your side, will be here till the very end. We love you Dan you made an impact on a lot of Our Lives.. cancer only wins when you allow it to. Nobody is Promised old age. It's how you cope with it that makes you win this battle. I’ve had family battle terminal illness the entirety of their life. There is that moment when you come to grasp that they will be gone shortly and the mourning begins while they’re still living; but while in their presence, there is a joyful life celebration happening at the same moment. @@leelak9763 I hope so too. Like many of his supporters i've watched loved ones decline and pass away. I feel like with this quick change in health that perhaps he may now be palliative..As hopeful as I am that he holds on for as long as he can without treatment. I hope this time is spent with limited pain, and as many good times as he can experience with his loved ones. Death is so fcking scary. I know it isnt a matter of "Oh you're so brave, how do you do it?". Because when you're sick you only get two choices. Fall apart or try to get on with life for as much as you can. He is strong willed and I am amazed at that strength. Sorry that sounded ranty...

Dont give up man, my dad did never give up, he had cancer, but one day he died because the cancer was too rare and too strong, but he was always happy even the last days before hes death he was happy, we didnt know he was gonna die but he knew, but he didnt tell anyone cause he didnt want me and my family to be sad, he always used too listen to rock music and after hes death i listen to rock music every day because when i do it feels like hes here with us . stay strong❤️

Warrior to another. I’m dealing with leukemia issues and you give me so much inspiration. You’re right, the world is full o hate. Have you found being ill that people you don’t even know have helped you in profound ways? I did. It gave me a different perspective. You’re so strong. At my worst in my illness (even at my best now that I think about it) I couldn’t pick up a camera - you are me hero. This is going to help so many people. I’m not giving up on you. I’m glad when I was physically dying with only a couple days to live, some didn’t give up on me. I’m here as someone that cares that also was met with a terminal illness. Your journey is helping me with my son because his brain cancer is rare and so little research for those of us that travel that road. He just turned 35 last week and I’m the same age as your mum. It’s sad that we live in a period of human history that we have so many regulations (legal, economic, governmental) that hinder progress in all tech, medical included. This was the most poignant and beautiful post yet; such stoicism and selflessness. My parents always told me that the true test of a person’s character comes not when everything is going right; but, when things are the most difficult. You, my friend, are the epitome of class. I don’t comment often, but I am utterly heartbroken. Life isn’t fair. There are so many people that are out there making life harder for those with chronic or terminal diseases...they are healthy while the truly good people on this spinning rock end up suffering.
