I love this. I don’t run, but I did start walking in February. (After not doing any physical activity for years). I am doing 30 minutes a day, 5 days a week. And I let myself walk at whatever speed I’m feeling that day. It doesn’t matter how many miles I walk, as long as I’m doing 30 minutes. Sometimes I can walk fast. I have ovarian cysts and endometriosis. I get a lot of pain, especially in my thighs from my stomach cramps. So I give myself permission to walk slow on those days.

Yes! I started this - 30 minutes of walking followed by 20 minutes of body weight Pilates (usually 10 min lower body and 10 min of abs) 4-5 days a week - and it’s so sustainable for me compared to alllll the other things I’ve tried! I don’t enjoy high impact, I don’t enjoy too much upper body resistance, and yoga feels too slow. So I just do what feels good and I do it consistently

if you're able to walk longer then do this, you will feel even better, you can even take breaks and sit on a bench for a while if needed (i say this bc i was also starting from similar level as you)

My tip is to run with a friend who won't judge you for your pace and will give you entertainment as you run.
I had a friend training for a marathon who convinced me to run with her during her easy runs, and it was so fun just talking with her as I jogged that I kept running. Now, I'm training for a marathon a year later and doing the same thing for another friend who said she would never enjoy running.

I’m even loving your running playlist as well! Because of this, I finished my first ever 5k today…. sure i was going at like 13 minutes per mile and the whole run took me around 40 ish minutes to complete BUT IT WAS SO FUN AND I ADORED IT!! Don't run with a friend who goes at a much higher speed than you and can't be arsed to slow it down but also wants to run "with" you so they keep running literal (albeit somewhat big) circles around you as you try to trot along. Absolute demotivator.
Best running buddy I ever had was my parent's neighbour's dog. Was also the only time in my life I managed to keep up a regular rhythm, going running three times a week. Just absolutely loved to get to pick up that beautiful boy who was always so excited to see me and run with me. ❤ Those were the days... 🥲

This really hits different to hear. I just quit sports and it hurts to not do it anymore but then I remember why I quit. I was a good runner but I would mainly run distance. It wasn’t the distance or the pain that hurt me it was more so the mental pain from just everything. It didn’t feel like I loved my sport anymore…This helps to know in case I want to just do running again ❤

I personally go running without music. My go to route goes through a forest so hearing the birds, the leaves, my own footsteps and my breathing is kind of therapeutic. Music distracts me from my own rhythm. (I feel like many people struggle with rhythm and get exhausted quickly so running without music might be a better option)

    Landing below your torso
    I used to do it
But my calves does get tight easy
So I experiment and found out that " over striding" is better .. well for me .. idk how others will EXpierence it
For me .. landing under my cog l, I feel more force exerted on my leg in particular the calves, as I figure the foot is in a lengthen position for it to push of the ground
However . Landing in front of your centre of gravity, with a bent knee , the leg isn't under the body so it doesn't have to support it as much as landing under your body, so less force is going up the foot
Since running is a repetitive sport, u wanna minimize the repetitive forces which is the ground forces, not necessarily the contraction forces of the muscles ,
The ground forces that's going up the body is what causes injury
And for me .. landing under the body causes that more likely than landing in front your body

BIG TIPS for walking and running:
take more frequent smaller steps so your feet land underneath your centre of mass
Always have your toes pointed straight forward
    Keep abs and glutes engaged
If you want better foot health and running form get barefoot shoes or minimalist shoes.
It should feel natural once you’re properly aligned and your knees will thank you

I vibe with the review. But I do have to say it could use some more details to help put everything in perspective, imo.
There were some _great_ points that were covered, such as the bass register being iffy and the portable size. And the uses the bassist delved into were also good to know. It's just that we're at point A, and he's at point B, and I can see where he's at but now I need to know how he got there from point A. For that, I'd need the finer details to tie it all together.
Just to be sure, did he have an opinion regarding the different bass modeling tones and effects tones, or was that the part he couldn't get to?

Forget the numbers?! Hun if it ain’t on Strava, it didn’t happen!
In all seriousness though, my tip would be that if you don’t want to go for a run, don’t. Don’t make it a chore. Your weekly mileage goal is a goal, not a requirement. It doesn’t matter if you miss it once in a while.
I’m a pretty decent/quick runner and people think I spend my life running. Not the case at all, I quite regularly go an entire fortnight without running once.
