@@khorvietech if this comment seemed negative. This is the first guide that didn’t workout for me. But most of your guides are informative and helpful.
doesn't matter what optimization you do. there will still be people with bad drivers, low fps, high ping, unstable internet, bloated systems etc. which will appear laggy on YOUR screen, but you get smacked on theirs, because everything is flawless on your end. thoughts?
Kind of confused towards the half end of your message, but to address the first half, the point of optimizing matters to help fix those sort of issues if possible
Ill try it when i get home. Is the tradeoff worth it tho? Since for example the finals runs like shit in terms of both fps and latency 💀💀 Around how much fps do you lose if you tested any game?
no like i can see for a while, but then my screen goes black cause the gpu just suddenly crashes or dies now whether its playing a game or youtube. I've already reverted the nvidia inspector back to default and applied it but its still doing it, idk why. @@khorvietech
btw the settings besides the staginghost or whatever add delay for me, it felt terrible. I tried the staginghost one on multiple values, since my screen kept going black, thinking it was the issue. It seemed like 1 was a cracked value and I tried 99999999 yesterday and it was goated. But even when changing it, it still would go black. The pull ones did nothing. I also tried one further in the list that was crazy, the PX DX10 one, holy that one goes nuts@@khorvietech

Friend, I'm using version 546.29, do you think it's worth making these tweaks? I only play FPS (cs 2 and 1.6) and I would like the lowest possible latency.
settings only showed up after i went to the actual website and downloaded the latest profile inspector i thought my problem was my old driver it was not
I tried these settings a while ago, it felt good but also felt like my pc was getting hotter than usual. Do you maybe know which setting could have caused that?
Yeah this doesn't have anything to do with creating heat for other components. It's changing the way the rendering queue works in a sense. It's like a way more in depth version of Nvidia Low Latancy Mode. Did you change any other settings? If so which ones. Are your CPU temps hotter than normal or GPU or both?
Hey I did this hoping it would help me solve some mouse issues and maybe it helped very hard to tell, It does feel like the click are instant but still not inside the game and on ice still.I dont know what could be the cause of the click feeling outside of the game since i optimised windows , fresh install and even changed my mouse since. Mouse accelaration is turned off unless there is another one that im not aware of. Also I have a couple questions if you dont mind, why do I need gscyn+ vsync + 141 fps limiter in order to have no tearing while the streamer I watch they have none of these and cap with the ingame fps limiter to 144 if 144hz or 240 if hz and they dont care about anything. This bother me because my monitor even if gscyn compatible doesnt seem like it very much because I get these weird black flicker every 5-10 mins for .1 second but it does give me some frametime lag for half a second and I do notice it. Dont know if there is a fix for it. Lastly even with gsync off or anything I could have tried i dont know if one of the optimisation I did caused this along the way or if my monitor is causing this but when the game itself is smooth if i have my champion on lock camera " the camera is following me" if i take small steps on the ground my HP bar on top of me stutter a bit when following me and it looks like its vibrating for like .1 of a second but then if i lock my camera everything is fine so idk if thats because of me or the game. I tried to get any informations or help for that one and couldnt.
The black flicker can be an issue with not enough power or a gpu driver issue. The limiters for gsync are supposed to be to make sure you dont get extra lag but no matter what gsync/vsync will cause some lag, keep on looking into good settings for it and you might find something better
@@khorvietech I always had these black flicker with this monitor no matter what driver I use, otherwise the people not using gscyn/vsync just dont care about tearing if some monitor is worst than others? For the rest of my issues im not sure if they are optimisation related or monitor related. btw is this tweak from that video act like a movement prediction? because yes the clicks are way more responsive, almost too much, very hard to get used toit Like normaly if i miss click i end up walking up in the direction i clicked without noticing the miss click well now if i click, its like every small clicks does a movement right away kinda like im ice skatting ingame with my mouse.
Cause 1. Newest drivers arent the best drivers so thats just the one i use on a daily basis and 2. I havent tested that driver yet because of reason number 1. I dont know if its any good quite yet
Korvie do u recommend this for g sync too? Also what do u think about these settings in nvidia control panel : low latency - ultra, highest refresh rate, v-sync fast, threaded optimization on, triple buffering on, g sync on. In game v sync disabled. Seems decent to me in terms of performance and input delay, i can almost consistently triple edit which i couldnt before. I was wondering if triple buffering and threaded optimisation might help if are turned off in anyway. Also, is ur driver version better optimized for fortnite ? Seems like it isnt the latest one. Ty bro!
I dont personally use gsync or vsync, but if you get screen tear then continue to use it. Low latency mode i keep to on, threaded opt off. Yes my driver isnt the most up to date for performance reasons, but if your game runs good right now then dont bother changing it
it's not running great, also after playing with g-sync for a while i cant get used to g-sync off even though my fps is 700-900 in createive the game still feels rusty and not fluent, cant tell why, i optimised my pc as good as i could. anyways, ill download ur version of driver too@@khorvietech
Yeah gsync gives the appearance of a much more smooth experience, keep me posted on how changing your drivers goes, remember to redo your control panel and profile inspector settings in case it resets
it will definitely reset. but trust me khrovie i did hella research in the last couple of weeks after building this new pc with 5800x3d , rtx 3080 and 3600 cl16 ddr4.. and it didnt reach my expectations, i was expecting a 0 input lag from 700fps.. pbo with -30 curve optimizer reached somehow the highest score in cinebench around 15.000 and only reaching 75 degrees temp.. no thermal throttling whatsoever in fortnite.. i tried all kind of nvidia control panel combinations, and this seems to be the smoothest with little to no input delay since this v-sync fast works as v-sync off but with no tearing. g-sync doesnt give an important input lag either as its capped at 237fps..so since temps are ok, hardware is on point, game is optimized, windows is optimized, nvidia panel was the only thing to optimize now. i cant wait to get home to try the settings you gave us which btw thanks for ! if u have a g-sync monitor give it a try with my settings maybe who knows, you'll like it. ill come back to you after installing the driver u have and updating the new configs. have a nice day and tysm !!@@khorvietech

Anyway, if the res is not compatible, just press esc. You should change the res via windows settings so if it goes black, it reverts after 5 seconds or just press esc to return to the last resolution.
Holy smokes you re the goat! Works
Glad I could help

Hey Khorvietech, I appreacite your content and it seems genuine, but I've got an issue I dont know how to solve. I cant find the settings under "other" even thought I clicked the magnifying glass and im sertain that its working becuase I see other settings under "unknown" that arent there when the magnifying glass isnt on. Do you have a solution for this? Thanks
Reinstalling from github should work
Thank you so much!❤

wow, i was little skeptical if this work or not, and ive done many latency tweaks before, there is a very noticeable difference doing this.
Glad you tried it out
I havent seen a video on these settings im try them out thanks

When I scroll down on the profile inspector the category after 7 isn't 8-extra it says Other and I don't see the settings you're talking about.
Try to get a new download from its github online

Yes it should
i clicked on the magnifying glass thing but I'm not seeing the settings that you have, it's all a bunch of "0x..." for example: "0x20D0DB0D" and the list goes on and on. I'm on a gtx1050 537.58
Currently looking into this bug, a few others have this problem as well
@@khorvietech Got it thanks!
ive got the same thing , but i download the Nvidia Profile inspector from the google drive link and now i see all things
A fix that has worked for some people is making sure the folder is extracted before opening PI
@@khorvietech alright, will try it out later and i’ll let you know how it goes
"Extra" section doesn't show up for me. After "7 - Stereo", I only have "Other" then "Unknown", and these settings aren't in any of these sections. I did tick the show unknown settings icon like you said. i don't know what I'm missing or what the problem is. I was running a previous version I got from a previous video of yours but I even downloaded the one from the description and am using it now and that's what comes up. Any clue?
Reinstalling it from its github fixes it
It worked! Followed the download link from the 'Source' link in the description which took me to GitHub. Thank you so much!
i have a question unrelated to the video im using gambar to get my custom crosshair from crosshair x however im unable to used fullscreen while doing this since my gamebar is saying that its unsupporting to this fullscreen mode tried a lot fixes however non of them worked have any tips?

@@khorvietech if this comment seemed negative. This is the first guide that didn’t workout for me. But most of your guides are informative and helpful.

Interestings, thanks for sharing
hey khorvie so 2 more days till ur optimization big one?
Next vid isnt an optimizing one unfortunately
honestly do not mind
doesn't matter what optimization you do. there will still be people with bad drivers, low fps, high ping, unstable internet, bloated systems etc. which will appear laggy on YOUR screen, but you get smacked on theirs, because everything is flawless on your end.
I honestly didn't notice a huge difference with my frames personally, the delay benefit surpassed my ability to notice the frames
@@khorvietech alright, will test it out in a few days when i get home :) Thanks for the tip
@@SabanLeon games like csgo or fort where your fps is quite high yeah its worth it. i tried with tarkov but it does slow it down a bit too much
After applying these my screen keeps going black and I have to restart my pc. The stagingbuffer one goes crazy for input delay though lol
If you havent done so already, getting into safe mode should allow you to revert the settings that make your screen go black
no like i can see for a while, but then my screen goes black cause the gpu just suddenly crashes or dies now whether its playing a game or youtube.
I figured out how to fix it. I went to device manager, my graphics card, then uninstalled it, so that it reinstalls. Also, I double checked to make sure it was these settings and it was them unfortunately. @@khorvietech
i love your videos so much (im not a bot) keep it up 👍
Thanks for watching! Didnt think you were a bot lol
@@khorvietech no need to thank me, you make very good content. short and simple. fun fact: we both have the same name, andrew.
@@khorvietech I need help, whenever I go to choose a power plan, it says this: "Your power plan information isn't available". I tried everything to fix it even in command prompt.
Most of the changes you are making really don't change input speeds or at least my test on 3 different PC shows none to very very little. I think its more of a placebo effect then anything but hey, maybe that is just me.
Would love to see your 3 different pc results if you want to join my discord and share all of your results. Surprised that you got very little benefit on all three machines
Friend, I'm using version 546.29, do you think it's worth making these tweaks? I only play FPS (cs 2 and 1.6) and I would like the lowest possible latency.
settings only showed up after i went to the actual website and downloaded the latest profile inspector i thought my problem was my old driver it was not
It shouldve been the latest PI i provided, which version did it say you have?
hi that's very well explained , i'll try
I tried these settings a while ago, it felt good but also felt like my pc was getting hotter than usual. Do you maybe know which setting could have caused that?
It shouldnt create extra heat, check with it off again and see if its cooler
Yeah this doesn't have anything to do with creating heat for other components. It's changing the way the rendering queue works in a sense. It's like a way more in depth version of Nvidia Low Latancy Mode. Did you change any other settings? If so which ones. Are your CPU temps hotter than normal or GPU or both?
Can‘t find the settings after reinstalling it still not there
Hey I did this hoping it would help me solve some mouse issues and maybe it helped very hard to tell, It does feel like the click are instant but still not inside the game and on ice still.I dont know what could be the cause of the click feeling outside of the game since i optimised windows , fresh install and even changed my mouse since.
For the rest of my issues im not sure if they are optimisation related or monitor related.
btw is this tweak from that video act like a movement prediction? because yes the clicks are way more responsive, almost too much, very hard to get used toit Like normaly if i miss click i end up walking up in the direction i clicked without noticing the miss click well now if i click, its like every small clicks does a movement right away kinda like im ice skatting ingame with my mouse.
bizarre 2 days ago put on youtube with the Nvidia drivers 537.58 the new version is 551.23 what is the reason for this if you explain this
Cause 1. Newest drivers arent the best drivers so thats just the one i use on a daily basis and 2. I havent tested that driver yet because of reason number 1. I dont know if its any good quite yet
i clicked on the magnifying glass but it doesnt show the things u put in the readme file

Have you had any problem with nvidia profile inspector, the exe on virustotal flagged 3 antivirus as trojan
Virus total isnt the most accurate, would choose a reliable anti virus like malwarebytes, norton, etc
@@khorvietech Okay thanks for the answer
Yeah gsync gives the appearance of a much more smooth experience, keep me posted on how changing your drivers goes, remember to redo your control panel and profile inspector settings in case it resets
gsync and low latancy i bugging with the new nvidia driver have the same problem. nvidia is aware of it and is going to release fix soon. @@bogdii1337
it will definitely reset. but trust me khrovie i did hella research in the last couple of weeks after building this new pc with 5800x3d , rtx 3080 and 3600 cl16 ddr4.. and it didnt reach my expectations, i was expecting a 0 input lag from 700fps.. pbo with -30 curve optimizer reached somehow the highest score in cinebench around 15.000 and only reaching 75 degrees temp.. no thermal throttling whatsoever in fortnite.. i tried all kind of nvidia control panel combinations, and this seems to be the smoothest with little to no input delay since this v-sync fast works as v-sync off but with no tearing. g-sync doesnt give an important input lag either as its capped at 237fps..so since temps are ok, hardware is on point, game is optimized, windows is optimized, nvidia panel was the only thing to optimize now. i cant wait to get home to try the settings you gave us which btw thanks for ! if u have a g-sync monitor give it a try with my settings maybe who knows, you'll like it. ill come back to you after installing the driver u have and updating the new configs. have a nice day and tysm !!@@khorvietech
